Vision has all the knowledge humanity has ever gained at his finger tips.
Yet he felt so....lost.
It has been some days after the Civil War. He hasn’t left the Colonel’s room ever since.
Seeing them brought so much pain to Vision. He had caused this. Well not him alone. Mr. Rogers, Mr. Wilson, And Ms. Maximoff had caused this. He knew Mr. Wilson felt great regret. But the other two...he had no idea.
Honestly, he has no hope about that. Threw his actions, Mr. Rogers has proven he only really cares about James Barnes, or those who blindly follow him.
And that’s where the danger in that man came. Mr. Rogers wasn’t special as he though. Thor, The Hulk, or Vision himself could easily take him down if they truly wanted. But it’s that need that.....desperation that he has to be the one to make the choices that shows how dangerous Mr. Rogers is. This man will do whatever he can to stay in power, and once he lost it, then he would go on a rampage. That’s why he hated the Accords. Because they took the power, the choices from his hands.
I’m fact, Vision is pretty sure that if the singing had gone as they hoped. Mr. Rogers’ leadership would have been questioned, and revoked. The man couldn’t have that.
And Mr. Rogers has no idea how to talk. He believes deeds do better than words is so extreme. He thinks that every situation can be punched at.
After all. That’s how he dealt with Tony’s grieve. By punching him.
Yes Vision had seen the video. Everyone had. And he still can’t believe it. Captain America did that. He hid a murder, and lied for years, only to react self righteously and attack.
Everyone finally knew what kind of a man Steve Rogers is. A man they are no longer willing to trust with the position he craves for.
But he’s not stupid. There is no way Rogers will accept that. The man will deny any wrong doing. Will try to defend himself until the end.
But the world wasn’t going to take that anymore. They had no more rose colored glasses.
Specially since the hero that truly listened to them, is knowhere in sight.
At first, Vision searched all places for his friend. Extremely worried about him. Later FRIDAY informed that Tony was fine. He had been saved by his godfather, Doctor Ishiro Serizawa, And would be staying with him for a while.
He did some reading on the Doctor and was impressed. A very accomplished zoologist, former SHIELD agent, left and founded MONARCH. A zoological organization that cooperates with the UN. What they did thought...it was a mystery.
Through his search. He learned of rumors. Of beings larger than life, creatures....monsters. That surpassed what they thought possible.
Rumors of a marine creature. That outshines any Avenger, with enough nuclear power to outshine any bomb. They call him the true King of the World.
Vision feared what could happen of this was true. Either if these creatures are ready, or those who could seek their power.
Whatever it’s happening. The world is changing. That much is clear. And the man would help them adapt is not on sight.
Peter always dreamed of the day he could fight with his heroes, from the moment he got his powers.
The moment that Iron Man and Spider Man fought side by side.
He never imagined it would end like this.
Mr. Stark was missing. Nobody knew where he was. Colonel Rhodes was in a coma, and Vision is in no state.
Dr. Banner and Thor were also missing, and the rest of their heroes turned out to be traitors and outlaws.
The world was afraid, and everyone didn’t know what to do.
There were rumors that the President is considering pardoning the Rouges, Out of Fear the US won’t have any protectors. It made people even more angry.
But Peter had another feeling. Failure.
He failed his team. Two were injured, one was left in no good state. Black Widow betrayed them, and Black Panther was probably the only one fine. But he didn’t know who Peter truly is.
Peter should have done more. Done more to defeat Steve Rogers.
He heard Aunt May curse the man from the tv and smiled a bit. She always made him smile.
But even she couldn’t help to,ease the pain his failure brought to him.
“I’m so sorry Mr. Stark. I’m so sorry.”
“Washington DC has been covered in protests after leaks from the White House, confirm the President is looking to pardon Steve Rogers and his team.”
Phil sighted and turned off the TV.
This was a mess he could not have predíceted.
Ever since the fall of SHIELD, he’s love for Captain America had vanished. The info dump was something he would never forgive. Why did those idiots felt that was the best option instead of just calling Tony Stark. He lost so many friends.....
That’s the moment he knew he couldn’t go along with Fury’s plan.
He wasn’t stupid. He knew he, Hill, and the WSC where using this to get SHIELD back and running. A job that was meant for him, before abandoning it.
He had only wanted one thing, to help people. SHIELD clearly didn’t care about that any longer. They cared about power.
So he decided not to help their cause any longer. Instead he reunited with Monica Rambeau and started SWORD.
An agency fully dedicated to protection.
And right now, they had a lot of work. They had just fought Hive, lost Lincoln.....but there was no time to rest.
“Hey Coulson.” Daisy called.
Phil sighted. She still has bangs on her eyes for her loss. But she was trying to fight it.
“Yes Daisy ?”
“You have a missed call from a....Dr. Ishiro Serizawa.”
Phil went pale at that.
“The message said that.....code, Awakening.”
“Oh god.”
“What...What does that mean ?”
Phil sighted. Whatever problems they had, they didn’t compare to this.
“Gather everyone. It’s time you know something. So we can prepare for our biggest fight ever.”
“STEVE ROGERS IS NOT OUR CAPTAIN !”
“NOT OUR CAPTAIN !”
“NOT OUR CAPTAIN !”
Steve sighted as he turned off the TV.
He didn’t understand how it ended like this.
Why couldn’t the world see that the Accords are dangerous. Why couldn’t they see the best hands were their own.
Steve had done the right thing. He and his team had fought the biggest fight of their lifes. And they shouldn’t be getting this hatred.
They should be celebrating, not hiding.
“Steve.” Natasha called. “It’s time for the meeting.”
Steve sighted and walked out of his bunk.
They were at the hellicarger. Fury and Hill had found them shortly after escaping the Raft.
They weren’t complete though. When Steve arrived with Natasha and Bucky to save the others. Scott was already gone. Sam told him that a lawyer arrived and managed to get him back home. Any attempt to contact Scott failed.
And there is of course the other team.
Rhodes is still in a comma. Last they checked, King T’Challa offered him treatment. Once again any attempt to learn of Rhodes’ state, had failed.
Vision didn’t respond their calls. Wanda called him 10 times a day, he never responded.
And Tony....Tony was missing.
Nobody knew how he left Siberia. He had left no trace.
After they freed the others from the Raft, they went to Siberia to get him.
Fury and Hill wanted Tony in a cell, to pay for his crimes for the Civl War. Steve, Natasha, Clint, and Wanda agreed it was the best choice. Tony needed to fix what he did.
But there was no trace of him in Siberia. All they found was Steve’s shield.
They needed to find him before anyone else. Who knows what could happen now if they didn’t find him on time. Things were already bad enough.
They arrived in the meeting room soon.
“So, do we have any traces on Tony ?” Steve asked.
“No.” Fury grunted. “Bastard left no trace behind in any way that we know of. It’s like her banished.”
“He can’t be hiding anywhere.” Wanda yelled. “Stark has no friends !”
“You are really a stupid girl Maximoff.” Hill said. “There are many people that would help Stark, hell he might be out of grasp now. There’s S.I, who has the backing of all governments of the world. There’s Coulson who went AWOL and hasn’t responded any calls. Wakanda could be hiding him with Rhodes. Hell he could be with Thor in Asgard.”
“Do you really think Thor would side with him.” Clint asked.
“Yes.” Fury said without hesitation. “Things like the accords are common in Asgard. Thor would have gotten them. And he and Stark were always good friends, in fact Thor helped him get cleared of Ultron and even took some of the blame. Oh and we can’t forget. Thor didn’t want the witch in the team, something Rogers chose to ignore. If he and Banner learn of all of this, they won’t hesitste to stand against us. Which is why finding Stark is so important.”
“We could check his safe houses.” Natasha said. “Those closest to Siberia. He could be healing there.”
“I’ll send a troop at once.”
“And what do we do ?” Steve hated being hidden here. He wanted to go back into action.
“You will wait here. It looks like Elvis will go threw with the pardons. That will give us a bit more freedom but no much. If Stark does so much as a YouTube video before we find him, we can’t hold him here, we got to move.”
Fury and Hill went away. Steve turned to the team.
“Alright team. We just got to wait for the pardons so we can act. We will find Tony and fix things. Soon the people will see that we are right.”
“I can’t wait to get that bastard. He’s going to pay for everything.” Clint growled.
“I second that.” Wanda said.
Tony had made such a mess. Why couldn’t he have just listen to Steve ? Everything would have turned out perfectly if he had.
“Are you serious !” Sam said. “You want to hold a man captive without even a trial, that is not even legal !”
“Sam”. Steve said patiently. “It’s for the best. We...”
“No Steve. He has rights ! I might not be his biggest fan but I won’t stand with you if you want to do this.”
“It’s the only way.” Natasha said. “We need to keep Tony under control. It’s the only way we can be heroes again.”
“And you forget the fact that he’s human.”
“He’s a monster ! He doesn’t deserve rights !” Wanda yelled.
“Hmph. I honestly don’t think Stark is the monster.” Sam said disgusted. Then he stood up and left.
Steve watched him go. Wanda got clearly distressed by his words. Poor kid, hasn’t she gone threw enough.
Clint gently took her to her room. Natasha nodded at him and left to continue the search.
That left Steve alone with Bucky.
His heart went for his friend. He had suffered enough.
“Hey Buck are you...”
“Do you really want to hold Stark captive, without any legality ?” He grumbled.
“Bucky....it’s the only way. Tony needs to pay for what he has done. Remember Siberia ?”
“That wasn’t his fault. It was yours Steve !”
“How can you say that !”
“And being held captive, without any REAL reason, it’s why Hydra did to me. So forgive me if I can’t stand with you this time.” He spatted and left.
“Bucky Wait !” Steve called. But he didn’t listen.
Steve sighted. How had things gone so out of control ?
They will fox everything soon. He’s sure of it.
Once they find Tony, they will fix and clear everything.
And then, Steve will once again be the hero he has always been.
Thor honestly wasn’t angered when he found Loki was Odín.
In fact, he was relieved to see his brother alive.
His brother had revealed himself out of knowhere. He didn’t give a lot of explanations, only that they had an emergency and needed to act.
And Thor believed him.
So they went to Earth to find the real Odín. With the help of the infinite beer wizard, they founded their father in Norway.
He was sitting on a rock. Watching the sea.
“Father ?” Thor called.
“My sons. I have been waiting for you.”
He sat at his left side. Loki slowly sat at his right.
“Father I know we failed...”
“No. I failed you both. Specially you Loki..” Odín lamented. “I will go to pay for my sins soon. I don’t have much time.”
Loki shook his head and looked down.
“Father.. Loki. He has a warning. He is...”
“Preparing Asgard. And has done a great job indeed. Frida would have been proud...I’m sure am.”
“You know about Thanos ?”
“I know about Thanos. But....he’s not the threat you need to be ready for.”
Thor and Loki looked at each other.
“What do you mean ?” Thor asked.
“In this planet....everything will change, a battle like no other will happen. And a creature worst than Thanos will soon wake.”
“Who are you talking about ?”
“The Destroyer of Worlds.....Ghidorah.”
Thor and Loki got pale. They had heard rumors about the Destroyer of Worlds.
“He..he’s here ?”
“Yes. And he will soon wake up. I...”
Odín started glowing orange. He shook his head.
“Seems my time is over. I love you my sons. And remember. Asgard is not a place, it’s a people.”
With that, Odín vanished.
Thor and Loki stood up. Their father was gone.
And he left them with a dire knowledge. The Destroyer of Worlds, a myth of nightmares, King Ghidorah, is real. And he will rise again soon, on this planet.
But before they could talk about it, a portal opened behind them.
Peter was walking to meet Ned for school. Hearing with disgust as the President announced he was pardoning Captain America.
“What an idiot. He..”
BOOM !
Suddenly, and explosion sent Peter and many people flying.
His spider sense tried to kick in. He had to move !
But before he could, everything went black.
A man went in and grabbed Peter’s body.
“Mr. Jonah, we got the son of Richard and Mary.”
“Ah perfect. The boy could have answers we need. Bring him to Antártica with us. And make sure there are no witness”
“Yes Sir.”
Making sure there were no witness left alive. They grabbed the unconscious Peter, and left.
They didn’t spot Ned. Who saw everything.
“WHAT THE FUCK !”
