Today I went to the cemetery to see Laurel. I know that is what you would have liked. We've been doing it since we've been together.
I have brought her flowers, white lyres, her favorites. One step, another, and since I entered the cemetery I couldn't hold back the tears imagining that you could be there.
It hurts, my heart hurts, a lot. I still have an open wound. I thought it was closing, but no.
This has opened it up.
I love you.
