I never would have thought that being a widow would be so difficult. Everyone on the ship knows what happened to us, and I feel their stares and whispers.
I know some think it was my fault for not being by your side, others think it was an accident, that I shouldn't blame myself. However, they all look at me with pity.
I can't stand any of that.
I want everything to go back to the way it was before.
