Chapter 22
November 22
I never really liked having big birthdays, I always liked it when it was me and my parents. Since Wanda and Pietro were staying here, my parents planned on inviting most of my friends for a small celebration.
They appreciate that I wanted to spend my birthday with just them of course, but today they urged my to text my friends to come here and celebrate it with and the others since they already knew it's my birthday.
I woke up today with someone holding me very tightly, my girlfriend was laying on top of me breathing softly til' one of her eyes twitches open. I gave her time to adjust her eyes to the sunlight, then she looked at me.
"Did I wake you up?" She asked.
"Nope, I was already awake." I chuckled.
"Why didn't you wake me up? I could've move." She said softly.
"I was busy." I chuckled once more.
"Busy staring you mean." She laughed.
"Yeah." I smiled.
"Happy Birthday Talia." She smiled kissing my cheek.
"As much as I like to stay here and cuddle with you, my parents are waiting down stairs." I said.
"Can stay like this for a few more minutes?" She pouted.
"Come on darling." I said trying to sit up.
"Fine but I'm going to borrow the kitchen for a few hours." She said.
"And why is that?" I asked confused.
"You"ll see when the others arrive." She grinned.
"You moya lyubov are full of suprises." I said booping her nose making her scrunch it up.
"Now come on let's go down stairs." I said grabbing her hand and leading her out the door.
We head down stairs and I was greeted by my parents. My dad still ruffles my hair and mom gave me a big hug. Apparently Pietro left early to go to his shift but he'll be back just in time with the others.
Wanda approached Melina and led her away from me to prevent me from listening. My mom nodded her head meaning she agree's on what Wanda is planning.
"Solnyshko why don't we go head to the mall for a bit?" Melina said approaching me.
"What about Wanda?" I asked confused to the sudden question.
"She was the one who told me that she'll stay, now go upstairs and change." She said.
I head upstairs confused as ever, but still managed to change in a red shirt accompanied by a leather jacket and pants.
I went down to see that Melina was already at the door waiting for me, I wass about to head to the kitchen to say goodbye to Wanda but Melina stopped me.
"Come on solnyshko, you're driving." She laughed.
"Can I atleast say goodbye to Wanda?" I asked.
"Nope, she told me not to let you enter." She laughed.
"Really mom? really?" I shot her a questioning look.
"Yes now come on." She laughed.
I grabbed my keys from the side table and followed her outside to my car. Driving to the mall was fairly quick and I managed to get a good spot to park on.
We entered the mall and went from shop to shop. We went to try on new clothes and I managed to find something I liked. Melina refused to go until I'd let her buy it for me as a birthday gift.
After two hours of going around the mall, I decided to go buy a promise ring for Wanda to give her on christmas.
"Aw solnyshko that looks beautiful." Melina said looking at the ring.
"Yeah it suits her, but I do need a necklace to put this incase." I said putting the small ring box in my pocket.
"I know a store down here." She said leading me there.

When we arrived home, I noticed that the house lights were all turned off, I'm not that oblivious that it was a suprise since everyone was eager to let me out of the house.
As I got in the lights quickly turn on, revealing all my friends along with their respective partners yelling surprise.
I turned to Wanda."Malysh? When did you have the time to plan this?"
"I had a little help from Yelena." She shrugged.
"Oh by the way, Happy birthday again." She said handing me a small box with a white ribbon wrapped around it.
"No, you did not just buy me a gift." I said taking the box and opening it.
"It's the least I can do milacik." She smiled.
"How did I get so lucky?" I said as I took out a gold necklace with a tiny hourglass symbol as its pendant.
"Here let me put it on you." She said as she looped her hand around to put the necklace on me.
"When did you get this? You didn't even leave the house."
"I asked Pietro to buy it for me, and I managed to hide it pretty well from you." She smiled.
"It's beautiful, I love it."
"I know, now let's eat some cake." She laughed.
"By the way it's red velvet." She added.
"Did you bake this?" I said taking a big bite of the piece of cake that was handed to me.
"Why would I hog the kitchen for two hours just to buy store bought cake?" She laughed with a hint of sarcasm.
"It's amazing, I'm so lucky to have you." I said kissing her cheek.
"Now hurry up and let's party!" She exclaimed.

After everyone left, Wanda and I were about to head up the stairs.
"Use protection!" Pietro exclaimed not caring that my parents were there.
Wanda flipped him off and disappearing from the stair way.
"Don't ever hurt her, she's been through a lot." He said patting my shouler.
"We're not even gonna-"
"I know I was just joking." He chuckled.
"Oh Then I promise I won't."
"Now go, she's probably waiting."
I ran up the stairs and into my room, I saw Wanda sitting on my bed.
"I can hear your thoughts from here malysh, a penny for your thoughts maybe." I said softly.
"It's just that, I've never really felt this at home since you know."
"Well do you?"
"Do I what?"
"Do you like it here? With me?"
"Anywhere with you is ok with me." She smiled.
I opened my phone to pick a slow music. I ended up picking Put your head on my shoulders by Paul Anka.
"What are you doing Milacik?"
"May I have this dance Malysh?" I smiled.
"I don't know how to dance."
"Come here, I'll show you." I said.
I grabbed her hand and placed it on my shoulder and mine were on her waist while the other hand was just simply holding each other.
We began to sway to the music, as I began humming to the song Wanda laid her head on my shoulder closing our eyes and enjoying eachother's company.
She looked up back at me staring into my eyes and glancing at my lips. All I see were her emerald green eyes and managed to get lost in it. I leaned closer to her, pressing both of our lips together.
She was surprised at my sudden action but she still reciprocated it with so much emotion, she kissed me like she wanted to be kissed, like no girl had ever kissed her, soft and moist and hot and breathy, not trying to win a battle but seeking union and closeness and the sharing of one breath, one sensation, one timeless and passionate moment.
The kiss turned heated very quickly, it only ended just to catch our breath. After that she kissed me once more turning it into a hot make-out session as she tugs on my shirt.
"Malysh, not now." I said stopping ourselves from getting further.
"Why?" She asked out of breath.
"My parents and your brother are just downstairs, plus we'll be heading to bed moments shortly."
"Fine but that doesn't mean you're off the hook." She pouted.
"Whatever, you say malysh." I said pecking her lips.
I led her to the bed and wrapped my arms around her. She wrapped her arms around my waist and both of us were just out like a light.
