Back at the TVA Loki is in one of the theatres with Mobius.
Mobius has a strong feeling that he shouldn’t trust Loki, but the sensation confuses him because it feels like the hunch is based on the fact that he knows who this person is. It’s like he recognises him from a dream. He feels like if he trusts this intuition that Loki could be lying he is trusting the fact that he does know Loki.
The vision he saw when Loki briefly made contact with him through the portal certainly seemed real though and, even thought it felt tinged with sadness, he felt a familiarity and a fondness for the people he saw in the memory - if it was a memory. Who were they?
Mobius asks Loki:”What were you trying to achieve with the illusion?”
“I just showed you the last time we were together, “ Loki shrugs. “It was at the void at the end of time where we had both need sent after being pruned. You left the void to return to the TVA. You intended to burn it to the ground. Obviously that didn’t go according to plan.”
“Clearly something changed and your memories have gone. I think the person in control of the TVA has been able to wipe your memories. Mobius we need to get out of here. They will know soon, if they don’t already, and you won’t be safe.”
Unsure, but unable to shake the feeling that he knows this person can be trusted because he knows he can’t be trusted, Mobius nods in agreement and hands his tempad to Loki. Loki enters the coordinates for somewhere he knows they will go undetected: Lamentis 1.
