The Conflict

Now as it’s been stated Parker was well known for his personality, he was compassionate, gentle, patient just a sweet cinnamon bun that was too good for this world. No one had ever seen him angry, or even mildly frustrated. Even during the Confrontation with Flash Peter was more sad than angry or anything else, so nothing could have prepared the school for Peter Parker when he got truly angry.
Hell no one thought it was even possible, the kid was just too good to lose his temper, oh boy were they wrong.

It happened on a Thursday again, Thursdays were quickly becoming the day that things happened. It was just after lunch had started and everyone was putting things in their lockers, then the Conflict (as it was dubbed) happened.

Three Senior guys, big assholes from the football team, had cornered a freshman in the hallway. Giving her a hard time because she was trans calling her a freak and misgendering her on purpose, no one was game enough to break it up because those guys were huge. With no teachers in sight the students closest wavered on whether to intervene. It turns out that they didn't have to, just as the main bully threw his fist towards the poor kids face, Peter Parker was there.
Everyone waited for him to hit the floor after taking the hit, but what they didn't expect was for Peter to catch the guy’s fist like it was nothing.
Peter stood strong and oh shit was he mad, the air was sucked out of everyone's lungs as they got a look at Parkers face. A mask of rage in place that made him look like an avenging angel as he held the fist in his smaller hand. Then he spoke and his voice was laced with a menacing venom that made those in earshot flinch.
“What the fuck, makes you think you have the right to tell her who she can be” Peter let go of the guy’s fist and took a step towards him and Jesus Christ he was something else. He looked like a predator his body tense, his jaw sharp and his eyes were cold. This was a Peter that nobody knew existed, a Peter that could stare down the hulk and win (not that anybody knew that had even happened once). The most shocking part though was that Ned and Michelle were in the background leaning against the lockers without any concern about what was happening, like they expected it.

The three assholes seemed to think they had strength in numbers and decided against backing down. At this point everyone was rooting for Parker, but no matter how ripped he was he was still just one guy against three.
“What are you gonna do about it huh Parker” the leader asked mockingly with a smirk, as he pressed into Peters face. To Parkers credit he didn't step back, hell he didn't even flinch just stared back as he said in a cold voice.
“You keep being an asshole and you'll find out” and God damn but everybody realised that they knew nothing about this Peter, the furious steel in his spine and the icy fire in his eyes. He looked like a force to be reckoned with and boy was he. Without warning the gentle genius flew forward and before anyone could even make sense of what was happening the two silent backups were on the ground nursing a broken nose and bruise to the jaw. Then their leader was pressed face first against the lockers with Peter twisting his arm behind his back, Parker’s face was calm and he wasn't even breathing hard as he spoke again.
“If you ever harass another human being about some bullshit like this again. You will have me to deal with, have I made myself clear?” The quiet menace in his tone was enough to give the Winter Soldier goosebumps and the bully nodded quickly. Peter let him go and muttered “good” as he watched the three scampers down the hall.

Parker took a deep breath before turning to face the freshman with a gentle smile on his face, and just like that the Peter everyone knew was back. The tension in the hall dissipated as the brown eyed boy put an arm around the kids shoulders and started leading her away asking about classes and hobbies as if he hadn't just taken down three massive seniors without breaking a sweat. When the three football, assholes tried to get Peter in trouble, everybody that had seen the Conflict denied Peters involvement to their last breath. Stating that the bullies had done it to each other. Of course, no teacher believed that kind, sweet Peter Parker could have done any damage to three of the biggest seniors in school and so the cover story was believed. The rumours however went unchecked and soon the entire school knew Peter Parker was a secret badass.

Another piece of the puzzle that was Peter Parker was revealed that day, but nobody knew where it fit. Nobody messed with Parker after that, in fact nobody messed with anybody if Peter was around, knowing full well that the boy didn't allow bullies to go unpunished. And if Flash felt extra jumpy after realising his old favourite target probably could have knocked him out easily on several occasions well it’s no less than he deserved.
When someone asked Peter how he did it the boy simply shrugged it off with an excuse of martial arts training. Ned and Michelle would get a knowing look in their eye and make some underhand comment about training with the world’s best or learning from spy's and assassins. Peter would laugh it off as a joke, but it made people wonder, who was Parker training with.
It was a mystery that kids discussed in quiet corners, spit balling ideas and laughing at some of the more incredulous ones. The students of Midtown found out eventually, almost a full year later when the seniors of Midtown were invited to Stark Tower for a field trip.
