Eddie x reader x Venom
Eddie Brock could be described in so many different ways, but as someone who knew the man intimately, you felt you sum him up better than anyone.
Eddie Brock was caring. He cared about the people in his life, even if he met them only briefly, and he would do anything for them.
Eddie Brock was a great cook, especially when it came to steak.
Eddie Brock was Venom. A vigilante, anti-hero, who ran around the city at night feeding his other alien side and protecting the neighbourhood.
Eddie Brock and Venom were your boyfriends, and the two had a lot in common. It's part of the reason Eddie was the perfect host for the alien.
But the one thing the two had in common that was glaringly obvious was how jealous and possessive the two could get, especially over you.
When it came to you, Eddie and Venom were extraordinarily protective. And that could often turn into possessiveness and or jealousy.
Not that you always minded. Sometimes you thought the twos jealously was cute, and other times it was downright annoying.
"You know, babe, it's not too late to make a reservation somewhere else." Eddie reminded you as you pulled on your shoes.
"It's a bar, Eddie. We didn't have to make a reservation. And what's the point in going somewhere fancy when the three of us are just going to be bored stupid?"
"There's no tater tots at the restaurant." Venom reminded Eddie. "Bar has tater tots."
"See, Eddie, a bar has the food we'll all eat, it's not somewhere we'll be bored, and there are darts. I wanna play darts, please?" You begged, giving your boyfriend the puppy dog eyes.
"Please, Eddie?"
"Fine. Fine, you broke me. The two of you broke me. Are you happy?" Eddie asked with a small smile.
"Yes."
"Immensely."
"Why do I put up with the two of you again?" He sighed.
"Because you love us. And we love you." You said, standing in front of Eddie and pressing kisses to his and Venom's cheeks. "Now, can we please get going?"
"Yeah. Yeah, let's get moving." Eddie smiled as one of Venom's tentacles grabbed his jacket.
Non-reader POV
"Now, Vee, you promise you're gonna behave?" Eddie murmured as the three of you entered the bar.
"What is that supposed to mean?" Venom grumbled to his host.
"It means that sometimes you forget we're not at home and cause trouble," Eddie said as he and Y/N sat together in a booth in the back corner of the bar.
"How dare you?"
"What did you say to him?" Y/N asked, tilting her head at Eddie.
"How do you know I said anything?"
"Because Vee's grip on my waist just tightened," Y/N said, one hand taking Eddie's as the other rested on the tentacle Venom had subtly wrapped around Y/N's waist.
"I was just asking if Vee knew we weren't at home and that he has to behave." Eddie sighed.
"Vee's good in public. He knows what he's doing." Y/N defended her other boyfriend.
"Love you, nibble." Venom purred happily.
"He says he loves you." Eddie passed onto Y/N, who broke out into a wide smile.
"Aw, I love you too, sweetheart." She cooed before squeezing Eddie's hand. "And I love you, too, Eddie. Thank you for indulging us tonight."
"It's what you wanted. How was I supposed to deny you? Especially when you both gave me the eyes." Eddie teased.
"I taught Vee well," Y/N smirked.
"Too well." Eddie shook his head. "I'm gonna get us something to drink. You know what you're after?"
"Hmm, surprise me." The woman hummed, leaning back in her seat with a smile.
"A challenge, huh? Well, prepare to be surprised." Eddie said as he walked over to the bar.
"Eddie. Eddie! Look!" Venom excitedly said as the two got closer. "Chocolate drinks!"
"What can I get you?"
"Can I get a whiskey sour, one scotch on the rocks, and one of those chocolate martinis?" Eddie asked the bartender, who barely gave him a nod in response.
"I love you, Eddie!"
"Alright, one surprise for my lovely lady," Eddie announced as he walked back to Y/N, balancing three drinks in his hand. "One drink for me and one for the chocolate addict."
"Can he even get drunk?" Y/N questioned as she gratefully took her drink.
"We've never actually tested it, to be honest," Eddie informed the woman. "Don't really want a drunk symbiote runnin' round the city, you know?"
"Could be fun."
"Could be fun."
"You two are terrible influences on each other, ya know?" Eddie sighed as the two of you laughed.
"C'mon, drink up. The dartboards are free." Y/N said, taking Eddie's hand in hers as she rose to a stand.
"You know, I'm kind of a darts champion." Eddie bragged to his girlfriend.
"Oh, is that so?"
"Yeah, it is," Eddie smirked, plucking a dart from the board. "Absolute champion."
"Then I better bring my A-game." Y/N smiled.
After several rounds of playing together, sometimes with Y/N winning, some with Eddie, Y/N let out a chair.
"6 to 5! Eat it, Brock!" Y/N cheered, jumping up and down in glee.
"You're a terrible winner." Eddie deadpanned, staring at his girlfriend in amusement.
"And you're a terrible loser," Y/N said, kissing Eddie quickly. "I'm gonna get another drink. Either of you want anything?"
"More chocolate!"
"Another one of those chocolate drinks, please, sweetheart."
"Of course," Y/N said before moving towards the bar.
"Our nibble is great." Venom purred as Eddie collected the thrown darts.
"She really is, bud." Eddie smiled before Venom let out a low growl. "Whoa, what's the problem, Vee?" Eddie whispered, subtly checking out their surroundings.
"He is too close." Venom growled, forcing Eddie to turn his head towards the bar where the bartender was flirting with Y/N. "We should eat his head!"
"No, no, no, no. We don't eat people's heads for this." Eddie was quick to soothe his alien.
"What do we do then?"
"This," Eddie said before quickly walking over to the bar.
"Just give me your insta, then." The waiter said, leaning on the bartop.
"Like I already said, no." Y/N huffed, crossing her arms. "I'm in a relationship. I'm not interested in you. I just want our drinks."
"Hey, babe, what's taking so long?" Eddie asked, wrapping his arm over her shoulders as Venom's tendrils looped around her waist subtly.
"The bartender is having an issue making our drinks," Y/N told the man.
"That's alright, sweetheart. We'll just go home. More fun there than anywhere else." Eddie shrugged, moving Y/N's face towards his and smashing his lips to hers.
"What was the point to that?" Y/N asked as the two made their way out of the bar.
"Vee was jealous. He wanted to show that kid he can't have you." Eddie said offhandedly.
"Just Vee, huh?"
"Maybe not. Either way, the point was made."
Reader POV
"Okay, we have one list. We only need the things on it. So, please try and stick to the list." You begged your boyfriends.
"Babe, you act like we're incapable of shopping."
"Because we are." You shook your head. "And not just you two, but we've seen what happens when I shop without a list."
"Are we talking about that time you brought six cans of decaf and almost killed the two of us?"
"Yeah, let's go with that time." You sighed. "Just please, stick to the list?"
"Alright, we'll do our best," Eddie promised. "Vee and I'll take the bottom half if you take the top."
"Done." You nodded. "I'll meet you in the middle when I'm done."
With your roles set, the three of you split up and began conquering your sections of the list.
Now admittedly, you shouldn't have lectured your boys on following the list so hard because ten minutes in your cart was now half full, and you were only up to the second item.
"Ooh, Vee will love this." You mused, throwing a bag of chocolate biscuits in the cart.
"Y/N? Y/N L/N?"
"Oh, shit." You sighed before forcing yourself to turn around. "Harry. What an unfortunate surprise."
"Oh, c'mon babe, don't be like that." The dyed blonde said, making his way towards you.
"I was never your babe." You said, narrowing your eyes at the man.
"But you coulda been, and you still could be if you play your cards right," Harry said, snapping his fingers at you.
"Not gonna happen."
"Okay, I know you said to stick to the list, but I found those bath bomb things you like and, who's this, sweetheart?" Eddie asked as he moved to stand next to you.
"Uh, Harry, this is my partner. You might know him, Eddie Brock." You introduced the two.
"Oh, wow, nice to meet you, man." Harry stuttered, thrusting his hand out to Eddie.
"Yeah, sure. Who's this, sweetheart?" Eddie asked, not bothering with Harry's outheld hand.
"Harry ran the motel I stayed at when I moved here." You told your boyfriends, noticing Venom was subtly making his presence known.
"We used to date." Harry chimed in.
"What?" Eddie asked, his voice deepening as Venom tried to take control.
"We went on one coffee date, and that only was after he threatened to throw me out if I said no." You corrected Harry. "He was very annoyingly persistent." You added, wrapping an arm around Eddie's waist.
"That's a bit of a low blow, babe."
"She's not your babe," Eddie growled. "She's not yours."
"Bit of a possessive tone you got there, huh, Ed? You sure you feel safe with someone like that, Y/N?"
"Fuck off, Harry." You snapped, reaching under the back of Eddie's shirt and grasping one of Venom's tendrils. "Don't act like you know either of us. I was never with you, and I'm never going to be."
"Whatever, you know you want me."
"Harry. Harry, Harry, Harry." Eddie chuckled, taking one step towards the man who almost jumped back at the look on Eddie's face. "If you come near our girl again, you will lose a certain appendage, so you can't entertain yourself ever again. Do you understand us?" Eddie lowly growled, his voice flickering between his own and Venom's.
"Yeah. Yeah, of course, man." Harry stuttered, stepping backwards.
"Go." Eddie snarled, causing the blonde to sprint away from you.
"He almost pissed his pants, you know?" You asked, raising a brow at your boyfriends.
"We know." Venom purred, briefly taking Eddie over.
"It would have made our day if he had pissed himself, sweetheart." Eddie smiled, stepping towards you.
"You have a sadistic streak, Mr Brock." You smiled up at him. "It's very sexy." You added, leaning up to kiss him.
"Good to know," Eddie smirked as the two of you pulled apart. "What happened to following the list?" Eddie asked, taking a look into your cart.
"Fuck the list." You shook your head. "Let's just pay for this, and the three of us get home."
"Sounds good, nibble."
"C'mon, c'mon, c'mon. Move faster." You scolded Eddie as you pulled him down the street.
"Jesus, Y/N, you're gonna rip my arm out." Eddie chuckled, struggling to keep you up with you.
"Then that'll be your fault for being too slow." You rolled your eyes. "We need to go faster. I want to go swinging."
You and Eddie had just finished having dinner with Anne and Dan. You supposed most women wouldn't be thrilled that their partner was still friends with their exes, but shortly after meeting Anne, she had become one of your closest friends along with the doctor.
The only problem you had with the two, and Eddie agreed with you, is that the two were a social couple. They liked going out to dinner, and to the movies, or just for walks.
You had no clue why.
But the two had been badgering you and Eddie for weeks to come out for a meal, and the two of you finally caved.
Eddie caved because he hated to say no to people, and Dan promised to choose a place with chocolate deserts for Venom, but you only agreed when the two threw in the offer to go swinging.
Swinging was one of your favourite things the three of you did together.
It might have had something to do with the free-falling aspect or just the fact you were with your boys, but you loved it.
"We're not gonna not go swinging if we walk a little slower." Eddie chuckled as you pulled him towards an alley.
"I know, I know, but I'm excited. Can you blame me?" You asked before leaning up to kiss Eddie on the cheek.
"Hey, sweetheart! Why don't you come over here, baby? I can show you a better time than the little guy over there." A man called out as he approached the three of you.
"Fuck off." You rolled your eyes, barely bothering to look at the man.
"Oh c'mon, baby, you know you want me." He pushed. "Ditch the twig and come have some fun with me."
"Dude, she said fuck off. She's spoken for." Eddie said, tightening his arm around your waist.
"Screw off, man, fuck knows you couldn't keep a woman like that."
"Dude, I said, fuck off." Eddie warned.
"What are you going do, man? Kill me?" The stranger scoffed.
"No, but I will." Venom snarled as he took Eddie over completely and pulled the strange man into the alleyway. You let out a sigh before following your boys into the alley where Venom was holding the stranger against the wall.
“Vee, we’ve talked about this.” You said, moving towards the symbiote. “You can’t eat everyone who hits on me.”
“Why not?”
“Because you’re better than that. And it’s wrong.” You told him. “You only eat bad people, remember?”
“Yes.” Venom growled before turning back to the terrified man in his hold. “If you ever look at our nibble like that again, I will rip you apart limb from limb and eat you while you’re still alive. Do you understand me?”
“Yeah, yeah, yes, I do. Please, just let me go.” The man whimpered.
“Just to leave you something to remember our conversation.” Venom growled before forcing the man’s head into the wall.
“Was that necessary?” You asked, putting your hands on your hips as Venom let the man drop to the floor.
“You’re ours. He’s not allowed to talk to you like that.” Venom said as you made your way to stand in front of him.
“Okay, sweetheart, at least you had good intentions.” You smiled up at your boyfriend. “I love you, Vee.” You said, wrapping your arms around his waist.
“We love you too, nibble.” Venom purred.
“Now can we go swinging?”
“Anything for our nibble.
