The three ended up going to the intern lab so he could create something to get the confetti out of his hair. After half an hour and with no help from the other two he was back to not looking like a birthday cake. It was great. The three then decided to go into hiding and somehow they figured hiding in Buckys room was a good idea. Bucky had a huge room that had half sectioned off to be a living area with couches and a tv so that's where they were. He just turned on the tv and the switch and passed them all a controller. They hadn't even loaded into a game when Loki appeared and grinned "Mario Kart without me really"

He laughed and stated "well you did leave me with a glaring Bucky and Quill in a room full of people"

Loki just chuckled "yeah sorry about that, what happened after I dipped"

Scott smirked "Stephen opened up a portal and transported them across town"

He grinned as he added "to a Mexican restaurant"

Loki snickered "I see you're still trying to get someone to buy you tacos, so what we hiding out here"

They all nodded and he smiled "the way I figure it he won't expect us to be here"

Loki just laughed as he picked up a spare controller and they added him in. Stephen was red shy guy because they are clearly one and the same. Loki was Iggy and it just made sense. Scott was baby Luigi and every time they played would only play as either Luigi or baby Luigi so today was no different and he had picked Toad. As usual, the competition for first was between him and Loki and the other two just fought to not come last. They always played with CPU's off because no one wanted to deal with their bullshit.

When they were on their thirteenth round a voice from behind them stated "well, well, well"

They all screamed and spun around to where Bucky and Quill were standing behind them arms crossed looking just as mad as they could. He spotted the lack of takeout with them and clearly, Stephen did too because he groaned 'seriously you didn't even get any Mexican, I should have sent you to the ocean for a swim"

Quill grinned "we had Mexican we just didn't bring you any"

Bucky just groaned "I still can't believe you forged our signature kid and Jesus Loki why the fuck did you help him"

He stated "look I know you guys are mad but I was trying to keep it a secret that I was coming here, didn't realise Peter was just going to tell you all"

Quill laughed "so let me get this straight you asked the God of Mischief because what you thought he'd be less embarrassing than Bucky"

He nodded "well yeah, Loki might have sent the room into darkness but at least he didn't make me fight a supersoldier in front of my class"

Bucky smiled "but you did great"

He just shrugged and Bucky stole the controller from his hands and he groaned "why mine, I was winning"

Bucky just stated "punishment, I would ground you but that's not exactly fair to do when Quill's here but the second he leaves you're going to be so grounded"

He grabbed Quill's hands and pleaded "stay forever so I'm not grounded for an eternity"

Quill just ruffled his hair and smirked "how am I supposed to pay the bills if I do that, I got a ship to take care of after all"

He just groaned but his smile gave him away. Bucky squeezed onto the couch between him and the armrest. He just shifted closer to Loki to give him some space. They played Mario Kart until around 6 when the others figured they should get to dinner before Pepper murdered them all. Stephen just opened a portal so he could get to the intern lab quicker. Elevators were for dweebs anyway. So he bid them all goodbye and stepped through. As he did so he heard Stephen mutter something about not eating unless they had cooked Mexican.

Carter and Zach were both in the lab and Carter smirked "I see you fixed your hair"

He flipped them both off and just got to work on one of his projects. They both sat beside him and Zach grinned "so how was your field trip, words going around the tower that Tony wants Loki's head on a stake"

He laughed and turned to Zach and smirked "as do a million other people, he kind of in some peoples eyes ruined the meeting of the Avengers and midtown high"

Carter chuckled "who in their right mind thought it would be a good idea to tell him about it in advance enough to make a plan, what the hell did he do"

Carter and Zach both seemed to be very invested and so he guessed the intern probably had a bet going on what Loki had done. It's the way it usually worked. So he explained "well Loki, with Stephens help flicked the lights off and made it so phones didn't turn on so everyone was stumbling around in the dark running into others, best meet and great ever"

Both boys laughed at that and after that had got over their laughing Zach smirked "either of you have anything major to do or are we up for some fun"

He raised his eyebrows and Carter questioned "what you got in mind"

With a smirk on his face, Zach grinned "well it's a Friday, and Remmy's guardians are doing the whole Superhero dinner thing so let's go out"

Both him and Carter immediately understood what he was hinting at. They had done this before after all. With a grin, he stated "I'm game"

Carter nodded along and he knew he had till around 1 or 2 in the morning before he had to meet up with Scott so it should be fine. Carter and Zach were both twenty but never had any trouble getting in because they knew their fake ID's like the back of their hands after all they had been using them for years at this point. And whilst he probably looked a bit young Loki had taught him how to fool people quite easily so he had even less trouble getting in. This is what led them to go to their favourite bar a few streets away. Its two greatest points were the free pool table tucked away in a corner and the hot college students that practically lived there.

They turned up and the bouncer let them in straight away because they kind of frequented this place enough for the bouncer to know them. As did all the bartenders so they never even needed to get their ID out when they were here. Zach ordered them all a round of tequila because he believed there was no better way to start the night. It was after the third round that they switched from tequila to whisky and realised Zach was probably right. They never seemed to remember that leaving someone somewhat sober to look after them would be a good idea. Maybe then they would make better choices. That was very much in doubt though.

They were in the middle of a game of pool when they noticed that a few other SI interns from their lab were in the joint that appeared to be considerably drunker than them. He recognised them because after all despite there being so many interns everyone seemed to know everyone. It was easier to find someone to help you with your project if that was the case. The only intern who didn't know everyone was Peter and even then he wasn't really an intern to the company so it made sense. Although the Interns tended to hang around those they shared the labs with and they became the ones they knew the best. Zach in his best impression of a sober person called "Kelly come join us"

The group of SI interns turned to face them and he did a little wave. Ellie was with the group and he knew for a fact Carter had been crushing on her for months. Carter had obviously seen her too judging by the fact he was doing his best to act sober. Despite the fact, Ellie was clearly way drunker than him. The group made their way over and Armando slurred "guys what are you doing here"

Zach threw his arm around Kelly and grinned "same as you I presume"

Kathy chuckled "so getting drunk because you've hit a brick wall and you're on a deadline"

He grinned "well the first, less the second half of that sentence"

After another round, they sent a message to the group chat shared between everyone in their lab and invited the rest of the interns from their lab to join them. And that they did with varying levels of sobriety from sober to drunk. The bartenders just seemed to be happy about the good tips they were receiving. After all, they didn't get paid too badly. At some point, Winter announced "this is a PR disaster waiting to happen"

Was she wrong. Absolutely not. Did she need to point it out. Definitely not. He was on his seventh drink and had spent the night getting progressively worse at pool and dancing like an absolute retard. Quill could be proud about the last part. Armando his current opponent in the game of pool grinned "I'm telling you there ain't no way you could build a firework-like they have in Mario"

Kristina who was sitting by Armando drinking his whisky she was supposed to be holding questioned "you mean the ones that are like star-shaped and show toad or someone's face"

Armando nodded and he smirked "challenge accepted, what do I get if I do it"

Marcus grinned "you get it to show one of the Avengers and I will personally give you my plane ticket to Montana"

Everyone just looked confused and he asked "what the fuck would I want a plane ticket to Montana for"

Marcus just stared at him like it was obvious and stated "to go skiing duh"

Everyone nodded and he amiled "yeah alright deal"

Donny added "I guess you'll get bragging rights too"

He laughed "oh you guys are just too nice"

So with him now building a firework on the agenda the large majority of them left the bar and headed towards Kathy's place because she was the only one with a lab at her personal residence. Because they all knew they couldn't show up at the tower drunk as they would likely all be fired. After a pitstop at the bottle shop and a very awkward subway ride which consisted of people staring at them as they embarrassed themselves, they made it to Kathy's. Once they were in Kathy's basement which also happened to be a lab he got to work.

Kathy didn't have the equipment or resources that the tower had but she had enough. It would just make his job that little bit harder. Not that being drunk wasn't already doing that. Carter laughed "I can't believe you are doing this right now"

He threw a small firecracker he had made by Carter's feet to shut him up which resulted in a fair few people screaming. Kathy scolded "not near the alcohol dumbass do you want to murder us all"

He shrugged "could be fun"

That earned him a shoe to the head. Who threw it hadn't he hadn't a clue. But he made sure to steal the shoelace before throwing it in the direction it had come from. Marcus shouted "where the fuck is my shoelace prick"

He laughed. How was Marcus yelling at him he was the idiot who threw a shoe at him. He just smirked "It's now part of a firework"

From the corner of the room, a very drunk Carter slurred "Rip"

Everyone laughed and he just stole Carter's bottle of whisky from him. Carter clearly didn't need it and he was happy enough to drink it. An hour later when he had finished a number of his colleagues had made the mistake of passing out. He turned to Armando and grinned "let's go see if these work you got the airhorn"

Armando nodded with a grin and Kathy began "please don't use that in the middle of the night, I'll get ..."

Before she could finish Armando pressed down on the airhorn waking up everyone. Kathy just rolled her eyes and threw her hands in the air"

Eloise just giggled as the number of them that had been asleep began complaining. Either way, they all made their way out to the street and decided to go somewhere to shoot off the firework. So they found their way to a bridge that seemed to be deserted enough. And as he set both fireworks he had made up the others began betting on whether or not it would work. Very few bet that it would because after all he had built it whilst drunk and would be setting it off whilst drunk. Kelly guessed that they were all about to die. A few nodded along and agreed with her. He just laughed "come on guys, explosions and fire are my fotay"

Marcus who had never got his shoelace back and was now just carrying his shoe stated "oh I don't doubt they'll be an explosion"

Everyone just laughed and agreed. He set fire to the charge of the first one and grinned "guess well see in approximately five seconds"

Everyone stepped back a bit even him but the firework flew into the sky like he had built it to and as it exploded projected Iron man's helmet in all its red and gold glory in the middle of a white circle backdrop. Winter stated "holy shit you did it"

He just smiled as he nodded. Carter stated "Iron man though you sure didn't make it hard for yourself"

Everyone seemed to agree and he laughed "oh guys don't be like that now you haven't even seen the second one yet, that was just to make everyone look up at the sky"

Kathy smirked "go on then Remmy wow us"

He obliged and lit the fuse to the second one. Seconds later it exploded in the sky much like the first but this time there in the sky was Thors face complete with blue eyes and lightning as a backdrop. As the fizzling began to go out for a second or so you could just make out the letters xoxo. For a few minutes everyone was speechless and then Marcus groaned "I guess I'm no longer going skiing"

This just got everyone to laugh as they began the journey to somewhere. Very likely a kabab shop. As they were walking his phone dinged and he had a message from an unknown number that read 'alright I'm impressed. Seconds later he received another from Loki that read 'you have betrayed me how dare, you put my brothers face in the sky and not mine, I thought I was your favourite'. He quickly responded 'I didn't think you'd want the attention, and how could anyone be better than you, how's dinner'

Loki informed him that Tony and Thor are currently fighting about which firework was better despite everyone else agreeing on Thor's. And Peter was getting bullied because he was shown up by a classmate that wasn't even a superhero on the field trip and that Peter was claiming the defence of he didn't want to out himself. Then Tony had suggested finding whoever made the fireworks and hiring them. Loki also said that Bucky and Stephen were suspicious of him making them but everyone else was just as clueless as ever. He also might have admitted to being drunk which Loki had just laughed at. He had stopped texting however when Carter called him antisocial.

They had magically found there was to a small park in the city after they had indeed passed a kabab shop and got one each. Now they were all climbing the one large tree the park had. He couldn't help but notice Carter help Eloise up and then the two sit side by side on one of the lower branches. No one mentioned it but they all definitely noted it. It seemed like in the near future it was going to be payday for a few of them when the pair finally decided to get together. Armando grinned "so Remmy how does it feel knowing you get a free ticket to Montana"

After glancing at Marcus who seemed to be annoyed at himself for putting his ticket on the line. He grinned "it's great I've always wanted to go skiing and I'll get to get away from my guardians for a bit"

Armando chuckled and Marcus questioned "do you think they'll let you go"

He shook his head and smirked "there's no way I'm telling them I'm going, well I'll tell Loki, but no one else ever needs to find out, do I have the return ticket as well"

Marcus rolled his eyes and stated "you might as well it's not going to be any use to me now is it"

With a smile he grinned "great, this is going to be a fun holiday"

Armando grinned and Marcus frowned at them both. The group sat in the tree talking for ages, with the occasional person leaving every so often before they fell asleep in the tree or rushed to get to the subway before it left them behind. Soon it was just him Zach and Kelly sitting in the tree. Zach and Kelly were flatmates who shared an apartment not too far from where he lived or the tower and so they all began the long walk home together. They were about halfway back when a portal opened behind them and Loki and Stephen stepped out. Stephen laughed "I can smell the alcohol on you from here"

They all laughed and Loki shrugged "I told you he'd been drinking"

Stephen just shook his head and laughed "you're so lucky Bucky and Quill are staying at the tower tonight"

He just grinned "and how did I manage this mean feat"

Stephen gestured to Loki and explained "they got a meeting at 6 and this guy casually pointed out that if they stayed there they could sleep in later"

With a grin, he fist-bumped Loki and chuckled "that's why you're my favourite"

Stephen faked a hurt expression and coughed. Loki smirked "take that"

He stated "you're my favourite too"

Stephen opened a portal and announced "I better be"

Kelly and Zach stepped through after saying their goodbyes then Stephen closed it and opened a portal straight into their living room where he was immediately sent to have a shower and drink some water by Stephen who was the responsible one. When he was finished he no longer reeked of alcohol and his clothes were already getting washed hiding the evidence. When he returned to the lounge room there were pizza boxes were on the coffee table and Scott was laying on the couch. He jumped on Scott's legs and the man laughed as he attempted to get him off. They ended up both falling to the floor with a thump and from upstairs Stephen called "be quiet you two some of us are trying to sleep"

They just laughed as they got back onto the couch. Loki walked out of the kitchen with what he presumed to be a hot chocolate in his hand and the fluffy yellow socks he had given the man for his birthday. As Loki walked up the stairs he chuckled "goodnight you two, please do keep being loud, make Stephen wish he two had stayed at the tower"

He grinned as both he and Scott bid Loki a goodnight. This apartment was by far the best he had ever lived in. It was two story's and the first story had the kitchen, dining room, lounge room, two guest bedrooms which were pretty much Scott and Quill's rooms at this point and a bathroom. Upstairs was another living room although they used it as a makeshift fighting room/ gym and the four bedrooms that belonged to him, Loki, Stephen and Bucky, with the two bathrooms, one that Loki and Stephen used that was technically also for him and Bucky's ensuite which he used instead because then he didn't have to fight with Loki and Stephen for space. It was in a good area of town and the apartment complex was 14 stories tall. With them living on floors 13 and 14 that had three other apartments on them all the same as their own. The best thing however was the communal pool on the ground floor.

As he took one of the boxes and grabbed out a slice of pizza Scott turned on the tv and the switch and flicked to Just dance as they did every time Scott came over. Everyone's favourite game was obviously Mario Kart except for Quill whose favourite was Just Dance. But that did not mean he and Scott were opposed to playing the game like Bucky and Stephen were. Scott threw him a controller and seconds later the pair were attempting and failing to do the correct moves. Scott was a little better than he remembered so he chuckled "you been practising"

Scott laughed "Cassie's been giving me some pointers, I see there working"

With a shrug, he replied "barely"

Scott chuckled "tell that to the score"

They both laughed and he just shook his head and contemplated throwing a piece of pizza at the man's head before deciding just to eat it. Scott wasn't wrong however and the scores were closer than they normally were, with Scott actually winning more than once. They were in the middle of dancing to a Queen song when their home phone began ringing and so he jumped over the couch and ran to the kitchen bench where it was resting whilst still moving his controller so the game would give him points. As he picked up the phone Scott groaned "how the hell are you getting perfect"

He just rolled his eyes and put the phone to his ear and stated "hey not sure if you realise this but it is three in the morning"

A laugh came from the other side of the phone and the person on the other side of the line replied "and you are awake so I'm not seeing a problem"

He walked back over to the lounge room and went straight back to dancing as he replied "no the problem comes from you interrupting my game of Just Dance, if I lose I'm blaming you"

The person on the other end laughed and responded "I didn't take you for the kind of guy to play Just Dance"

Scott just turned to him and whispered "who is it"

He just shrugged in response and stated "well I'm full of surprises, who exactly am I talking to"

The person on the other end chuckled "it's MJ"

He nearly dropped the phone at that. First off why was she calling and second off how did she even get this number. He questioned "how the hell did you get my number"

She replied "I have my ways, I sent you a text earlier but you never responded so I thought I would call"

He interrupted "that was you"

She stated "yeah, now I need to get some things straight, clearly you really do Intern at Stark Industries, I'm guessing it has something to do with your ability that allowed you to create fireworks, what I don't quite understand is how you somehow know a number of Avengers and were able to beat Clint in a fight and survive for so long against Steve"

Scott seemed to be curious as to what was happening and he noticed that someone how he had scored more points than Scott for that dance. He replied "well all the interns know Clint and Sam because they constantly visit the lab's majority of the time looking for helps with pranks, and I guess I just met a few of the other Avengers through them, and well me and Clint have sparred once or twice"

It wasn't exactly a lie. Clint was the first Avenger he had met. Meeting him in the first week of his internship when he got recruited to help with a prank due to his skill with explosives. The prank had been against Natasha and to this day he was glad she didn't know he had any part in it. He did not have a death wish after all. And Clint had introduced him to Sam but neither of them had introduced him to anyone else. He had met the rest through Bucky after he had met the man. MJ didn't need to know that story though. MJ seemed to accept it and stated "makes sense, now I am going to forward you some scans of what I like to call field trip faces in crisis have fun playing Just Dance"

With that, she hung up and he just placed the phone down on the coffee table and turned to Scott as he laughed "that was weird"

Scott questioned "who was it"

His phone buzzed from the floor where he had dropped it earlier and replied "a girl from school, Peter's friend MJ"

Scott picked a new song and asked "what did she want and how'd she get this number"

He swiped his phone open to see several messages from MJ. He stated "Intel I think, seems today's activities confused her. And for how she got this number I have no clue"

Looking at the images MJ had sent him he laughed. There was a drawing of him in crisis the second before he got pranked. Clint after he had been beaten. Flash from multiple points in the day. Peter from multiple points in the day. Scott and Stephen from when Bucky glared at them and a similar one of Tony from when Bucky glared at him. The best however was the one of Steve from the point in the fight when things weren't going well for him. Scott stole the phone from him and joined him in laughing at the photos as he sent them all to himself, well except the ones of Flash.

They played Just Dance till well past three thirty when they both got tired and just flicked to Netflix and put on Brooklyn 99 despite knowing they would both be asleep before the end of the first episode. He just sat beside Scott on the couch and laid his legs on Scott's lap putting his head on the armrest. Scott pushed his feet off the first five times he tried resting them there but afterwards he just seemingly gave up and let him leave them there. Just like he guessed Scott was asleep not even five minutes into the episode and he followed suit minutes later.
