The Talk
Steve is confronted by Peggy's children with a one-on-one talk about how he better treat their mother right (: - macabrexheroine
“Listen, Steve you’re a nice guy.” Steven Sousa said as he sat opposite of Steve in the deserted living room, Steve didn’t even have to look at Peggy’s daughter to know that Peggy’s eldest was rolling her eyes at her brother’s statement.
“Steve-o, is the really necessary? This is Captain Fucking America we’re talking to.” Rebecca said inspecting her nails, this earned the dark haired woman–who really did take after Peggy in everything but her dark hair, that was all Daniel according to her mother,–a scalding look from her younger brother.
“Shut up, Becca, don’t call me that!” Steven snapped before returning his attentions back to Steve, “It has come to our attention that you’re living here now.”
“I don’t live here, I have an apartment down town-” Steve tried to argue but Steven pushed on as if his namesake hadn’t spoken.
“We’re concerned about your intentions towards our mother.”
“Hey, don’t pin this on me!” Rebecca cried, “he’s the one that’s worried, I think it’s wonderful that you and Mom have gotten back together!”
“May I say something in my defense?” Steve cut back into the conversation, “Look Steven, I understand why you’re worried, really I do, but I’ve known your mother a very long time. I have no intention of ever doing anything to hurt her. Besides, if I ever did hurt her, your mother would probably be the first to kill me, she can take care of herself you know.”
Steven gave the captain a blank look before getting up and mumbling, “whatever, as long as we understand each other.” Before hurrying out of the room, Steve shook his head and turned to Rebecca.
“So, Rebecca do you have any concerns you would like to address?”
