Moving Day
Imagine Peggy and Steve moving into their first house together. - Anonymous
“Peg, where do you want this box?” Peggy’s head emerged from the kitchen and studied Steve who was holding a box labeled bathroom rather awkwardly.
“Darling, the box says bathroom on it, put it in the bathroom!” Peggy said amused, “we’ll unpack it in a minute.”
“Roger-dodger!” Steve said with a silly grin, Peggy chuckled and shook her head. This house would be where their future children would grow up, the stairs leading to the second floor would be where their daughter would make her grand entrance on her first date.
Returning to the task of unpacking the dishes in the kitchen, Peggy couldn’t help but smile as she imagined their future together. She was so consumed in her own thoughts that she was surprised to find Steve’s strong arms wrapping around her waist from behind.
“That was the last box, we are officially almost moved into our new house.” Steve said kissing, the tender spot behind her ear that he knew made her squirm.
“We still need to unpack everything,” Peggy said biting her bottom lip.
“That can wait, for now I see a beautiful woman that I would very much like to dance with.” As he spoke he spun Peggy around and pulled her into a passionate kiss.
That night they christened their new house.
