Steve sighed as he glanced over at Brooklyn from the couch he was sat upon. She was working hard on her laptop, fingers flying across the keyboard as her glasses slowly fell down her face. A sugar and creme filled coffee sat next to her chair that she sat criss cross in as she continued her work, ignoring Steve's gaze. He smiled when he saw her blow some strands of hair from her face, her nose crinkling as she did so. His sketchbook sat upon his lap, full of random doodles he had made. Some were of his teammates, some were of characters from old movies and cartoons he had watched, but one face had yet to show itself on the page. Hers. So he got to work, trying to capture all of the features of hers he could while also looking discreet. Soon though, he was caught and smiled sheepishly as Brooklyn giggled.

"What're doing Rogers?" She questioned, smiling softly as a small blush came across his cheeks.

"Drawing the most beautiful thing in this room," he replied. Giving a small smirk as she blushed deeply.

"Want to see how it's coming so far?" He asked as she nodded. He pat the couch cushion next to him, signaling for her to sit down as she complied. He showed her the basic drawing of her he had made, it needing some more shadowing, details, etc. But it still hadn't failed to make the young woman's face flush and eyes light up, causing the older American to smile softly.

"Well?" He asked as he looked at her with expectant eyes. "It needs some work I know but-"

The younger blonde quickly interrupted as she hugged him tightly, "It's amazing! You really catched every small detail... You never fail to amaze me!" She beamed and kissed his face all over which caused the older man to flush deeply.

"N-Now it isn't all that doll, but thank you," he chuckled and planted a gentle kiss on her forehead.

"Do you think you could teach me?" Brooklyn asked sheepishly, her voice a bit meek.

"Teach you? to draw?"

She nodded and looked at him hopefully.

"Of course I can babydoll," Steve said with a chuckle. "No need to seem so nervous, it's easy once you get the hang of it!"

"Everyone says that when they're good at something!" She said with a small laugh.

"You've got me there but you'll believe me once we're done," He said confidently as he handed Brooklyn his drawing pad and pencil before grabbing a random pen and paper so he could show her the basic shapes.

She carefully did as he instructed, focusing intensly as she attempted to get every curve and angle the exact same as his.

"Doll you don't have to be so precise, do your own spin!"

She seemed hesitant but nodded before leaning back against the couch to get to work.

Steve waited patiently, excited to see what she would show him once he was done. In the meantime tho he started the doodle of her over, wanting to be more accurate this time as he drew her focused face that he found adorable.

After about half an hour of silence aside from a few questions from the now beginner artist, the young woman was full of embarrassment as she turned to drawing pad to show him what she'd drawn.

It was far from "perfect" but it was definitely better than what he had expected when he saw a cartoonishly drawn picture of himself in his suit from the 40s. A huge smile crossed his face as he gently took the pad from her.

"Brooklyn this is great! You could definitely do newspaper comics with this style," He laughed softly as he pulled her close to his side. "I really love it."

The young blonde beamed as she looked up at him, "Y-You really think so? It's nowhere near as good as your drawings.."

"It doesn't need to be doll, art can't really be compared when the styles are this drastic," he kissed her cheek a bunch.

"They're both amazing in their own ways and yours is definitely amazing."

She blushed bashfully but smiled widely at all the compliments, "Thank you Steve... Maybe we should do this more often! It could Be a fun date night."

She giggled at how excited the older blonde got to hear the idea, "I would love that, I'll head to the art store this week to pick up supplies."
