In church there shouldn't be fights
In the distance I saw a cluster of reddish flowers and called the attention of Erik's offspring to them. Recalling the reason for the walk.
"-What do you think of those?" - I asked.
"-I like red." -she stated crouching down ope of the flowers where she also noticed a blue butterfly. "-I think she's stuck."
I crouched down too for a better look. "-Yeah. She's got a broken wing."
I stared at the child and she gave me a knowing smile before putting her finger to her lips in silence.
Then she approached the animal's hands, wrapping her in a cocoon, I felt a strange energy coming from there and then her hands moved away and the butterfly flew free.
"-Nice trick." - I said with my mouth open.
"-I like yours too." - She said smiling. "-Although I think you're prettier in blue, it's my second favorite color."
"-Now, I'm sure you're Erik's daughter."

Pietro went for a run and Logan came out right away saying he would keep an eye on him, which I was grateful for. Hank left with Ms. Miler took the rental car and drove to the village. In the end, that's me and Charles.
He looked around and fixed himself on a somewhat abstract picture.
"-That was Wanda who painted it." - I said.
"-Acerium?" he asked looking genuinely interested.
"-Yes. We found out a few months ago that painting helps her keep control of her powers." - I explained.
"-It's something relaxing."
"-Yes, and the music concentrates Pietro. "
" - Interesting."
We started a fruitful conversation about twins and methods of supporting the teaching of mutants.
Later, Wanda, Pietro, Raven, and Logan all came back from the forest together, we talked, and in the end we ended up drinking hot chocolate while we waited for Hank so they could grab the car, drive to the airstrip, and head home. That was Charles' plan.
Although honestly…I would like them to stay.
At least for a little while longer.
Well, I think my wish will come true, since Ms. Miler appeared desperate at home saying that Hank was taken by some military.
They sent her as a messenger, they want to meet us in the village church.
We knew it was a trap but Charles and Raven didn't want to risk Hank.
I asked the Miler to stay with Wanda and Pietro who were already sleeping in her room. (They insist on sleeping in the same room.)
I wish Charles had stayed home but he insists on trying to talk to whoever was behind it. As always...the diplomat.

When we entered the church it was empty, obviously a trap, which is why we left Logan out there as a plan B.
Suddenly, Trask entered and a military man pointing a gun at the head of the Beast, then there was an ambush, numerous soldiers appeared.
We thought it wouldn't be a problem but...
They turned on some green lights on the walls and ceiling of the church, I tried to use my powers but nothing.
It was the lights, I started to feel weak and in pain as I was electrocuted by one of the soldiers.
I fell to the ground.

"-DAD!" - Wanda woke up excited.
She quickly gets up from the bed, over to her brother's and shakes him.
"-Wanda? What's up?" - Pietro asked worried about his sister.
"- It's the pope. He's in trouble!"

"- We don't want to hurt anyone, you don't have to." - I heard Charles say.
"-I heard about what happened in Cuba, and other incidents in Washington and Shanghai, your friend knows what I'm talking about, right Magnento?!" - He said enjoying me being on the ground humiliated. " - Guys! Start loading the vans."
Suddenly I felt a gust of wind, and realized that all the soldiers were on the ground, and the green lights off, I dropped to my knees like Raven and saw Hank approaching free of the gun.
I looked at Trask who was dumbfounded.
" - Stop!" - a small voice came from the entrance of the church.
Wanda.
"- Don't get involved in this kid, this has nothing to do with you. Go!"
"-You're wrong. You're hurting my family. And that I won't allow!"-she reached out and pushed Trask against the wall and trapped him I don't know what.
And then she ran to hug me.
" - Papa."
"-Wanda...how did you get here?"
So the gust of wind turned out to be my firstborn.
" - Pietro. "
I held out one of my arms and my son joined the hug.
"-You don't know your father, children, he's a monster!" - Trask said before he passed out. (I think by order of Wanda)
They hugged me tighter.
And when we left the church I thought it was better to clear things up.
"-Children. Hmm..there's something I want to clarify with you."
" - What was it, father?"-Pietro began.
I knelt down to them.
"-What the man said...I've done some things in the past, things I regret, bad things, but I'm not the same anymore, I swear...I'm serious...a lot happened that. .."
"-We know. "-Wanda said.
"-Know what?" - I asked confused.
" - Of bad things..."-Pietro began.
" - Like? "
" - I'm a telepath. "-Wanda said as if it were obvious. " - But...okay."
" - Sorry for disappointing you.."
"-It didn't disappoint..."-Pietro began.
"-I should have been honest to all parts of my past."
" - Yes it should, but...no matter what happened years ago, today you went to save Dr. McCoy. "-Pietro said.
" - If it was because of us, it doesn't change anything, it doesn't change the person you've become, and it doesn't change what you are. "- Wanda completed.
" - And what am I? "-I had to ask.
" - You're our father. You wanted to make us proud, so you lied, omitted the truth. What could have been self-destructive but rejecting you or trying to make you guilty would only make us sad." - Wanda said.
" - No matter what happened, it's okay. We love you that's what matters, right? "-the brother finished.
" - Yes, that's what matters."
" - Sorry to spoil the moment but... we have to solve something, we can't go back to the cabin they are too close. "- Raven said.
" - Then come with us. "- Charles offered.
