Summary
The Ten Rings were not just the criminal organization. They were ancient, unknowably powerful artifacts, carried by a would-be world conqueror for thousands of years. Now, that original wielder is dead, and Xu Shang-Chi bares them now in his absence. These rings he carries are not from the Earth, and no terrestrial being can identify where they came from or who might have created them. Even their exact age is unknown. But, they killed The Dweller in Darkness without so much as a scratch on them. Clearly some questions are meant to be answered. Shang-Chi seems to think so.
