Medicine Time

Thrid's POV

Kato walked into his room grabbing a book from the bookshelf before sitting down on his bed opening it to read it.

'I could use something to do why Raven is taking herself a nice nap.' He thought as he the book beginning to read it.

He scooting back he rested his back against the bedboard as he was reading his book about a family of vampires. It was full of action and adventure. Which were two of his favorite genres when it came to reading books.

Taking a glance at the clock on his nightstand. He noted that it was only 8:00 AM. Meaning that it was another six hours until the boys get home from school.

"Around about hour are two I check on Raven fever," Kato said turning his attention away from the clock. "The fan should help cool her down," He said as he went back to reading his book.

Mystique's POV

I let out a groan as I felt my nostril twitching and flaring up in irritation waking me up from my slumber. A sneeze beginning to build up deep inside my nose and my breath quickly hitched.

"Ah... Aaaaaaah..."

I sniffed bringing a hand up to rub my nose wanting to stop the sneeze. So I could go back to sleep, but it wasn't working. Since I could still feel my nose quivering and flaring up.

"Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh... AaaaaaaaaaaaAAAAHHHHH..." I continued to inhale as it was getting closer to the point of release. My nostrils were flaring uncontrollably as I continue to rub my nose hoping to make th urge to sneeze go away, but my nostrils continued quivering and flaring up."AaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH..." I inhaled more sharply this time at this point I was positive I couldn't hold the sneeze back much longer. I desperately needed to sneeze badly. My nose continued to quivering and flaring growing and shrinking with every gasp. Each gasp making my nose itching like crazy. I knew that I had no choice but to let my sneeze out. I definitely couldn't hold it back are make it go away my nose really wants this sneeze released now.

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH-CHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!"

I shot my head forward as I released a long, loud, and powerful sneeze. A good amount of snot shoots out my nostrils landing on my blankets. After a couple of seconds, I recovered from the sneeze and opened my eyes groaning as I grabbed a tissue and blow my nose. I sniffed and threw away the tissue before taking another sip of my tea soothing my sore throat.

I let out a sigh of relief happy that another sneeze wasn't coming. So I lay back down in bed drifting back on off to sleep to continue my nap.

After what seemed like a while of sleeping. I suddenly being pulled from my slumber by the feeling of something cold being placed onto my forehead.

I partly opened my eyes to see Kato placing a cold wet washcloth onto my forehead."Kato," I groaned wondering if it had already been an hour because I was still sleepy and wanted to go back to bed.

"Sorry to wake you, my dear," Kato said. "Go ahead and get some more sleep. I just came to check on you to see how your fever was. I make you something to eat in a bit if you're hungry for an early lunch."

"N-No i-i'm go-go," I trailed off my thought feeling my nostrils starting to twitch making it hard to talk. "H-hold...i- thihh... I-i'm gonnnahh...sneh...snee... Aaaah...snee...Aaaah...snee..Aaah...sneeze!"

Kato nodded and backed away so he wasn't in the way of my upcoming sneeze.

"Aaaah... Aaaaah... Aaaaah..." I tilted my neck back as my breath continued to hitch."Aaaaaaaahhh..."

My breath then returned to normal. The urge to sneeze is suddenly gone. I sniffed and rubbed my nose see in it was a false alarm.

"Nevermind it gone," I said. "I'm going to sleep some more," I said laying back down as Kato fix the washcloth back onto my forehead.

"Alright I start making some soup shortly, but first going to get started on doing a load of laundry and take the trash out," He said walking over to the bedroom door.

I was about to reply telling him okay. When my nostrils started quivering and flaring. The need to sneeze was coming back all of a sudden. I quickly sat back up knocking my washcloth off.

"Aaaaaah... Aaaaaaaaaaahhh... Aaaaaaaaahh... Aaaaaaaaaahh..." I tilted my neck back. "Aaaaaaaaaahhhh... Aaaaaaaaaaahhh..."

The urge to sneeze getting stronger with each inhale I took.

"Aaaah...Aaaaaaaaahh...Aaaaaaaaaaahhhh...Aaaaaaaahhhh..." I titled my neck farther back as my nostrils continue quivering and flaring.

I fanned a hand in front of my face as I felt the sneeze close to being released.

"Aaaaaahaaaaaaaah...Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahh...AAAAAAAAAHHHHH..." I raised my other arm to my mouth as I continued to inhale, before taking one more climatic inhale. "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH...!"

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH-CHOOOOOO!" I shot my head forward as finally released the upcoming sneeze into my arm. I reached over grabbing a tissue and rubbed my nose causing another sneeze to come.

"Aaaaaahhh...Aaaaaaaaahhhhh...Aaaaaaaaaaahhhh...Aaaaaaaahhh...Aaaaahhhhhhhhhh-CHOOOO!Aaaaaahhh...Aaaaaaaaahhhhh...Aaaaaaaaaaahhhh...Aaaaaaaahhh...Aaaaahhhhhhhhhh-CHOOOO!Aaaaaahhh...Aaaaaaaaahhhhh...Aaaaaaaaaaahhhh...Aaaaaaaahhh...Aaaaahhhhhhhhhh-CHOOOO!Aaaaaahhh...Aaaaaaaaahhhhh...Aaaaaaaaaaahhhh...Aaaaaaaahhh...Aaaaahhhhhhhhhh-CHOOOO!" My chest felt like it was burning but didn't have a chance to recover as my nose started quivering and flaring again I needed to sneeze again.

"Aaaaaahhh...Aaaaaaaaahhhhh...Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh...Aaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhh...Aaaaahhhhhhhhhh-CHOOOOOOOOOO!" I finally ended the sneezing fit I started having with a final messy sneeze completely soaking my tissue with mucus.

I panted trying to catch my breath after sneezing so many times. I sniffed and blew my nose as I heard Kato chuckled before he spoke up.

"Bless you," Kato said with a smile. "By the way might want to change back you shapeshift into a clown literally not talking about up your nose."

"Thank you and don't laugh at my powers deciding to change my appearance," I groaned throwing my tissue away.

"Welcome," He said walking towards the bathroom. "Let's give you some medicine for that sneezing."

I nodded as he walked into the bathroom. While waiting for him to come back with the medicine. I felt my nose starting to itch again. It was starting to quiver and flare-up. Another sneeze was building up inside my nose. I reached for a tissue preparing to sneeze into it.

"Aaaah..." My breath started to hitch. I brought the tissue up to my nose as I tilted my neck back slightly. "Aaaaaaaaahh..." I tilted my neck back farther as my nostrils continue quivering and flaring each gasp tickling my nose.

"AaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH-CHOOOOO!" I shot my head forward as I released a loud messy sneeze into my tissue.

After a few minutes, I caught my breath and blew my nose clearing out the snot in my nose, throwing away the tissues. I lay back down feeling completely exhausted.

"Bless you again," Kati said coming out of the bathroom with a blue pill in his hand.

"Thank you," I groaned as he sat me up and put the pill in my mouth before pouring some of my tea in my mouth to chase the pill down.

"Welcome now get some more rest. I will be back with some soup and more tea shortly," He said putting the washcloth back on my forehead as he looked at the time. "10:15 AM still early for lunch doesn't matter you be hungry after a good nap."

"Yeah," I muttered as I started drifting on off to sleep as I heard Kato humming in my ear soothing me to sleep.

He continued to hum as his footsteps were heard heading towards the bedroom door. I was almost completely asleep by the time I heard the sound of the door closing.

A/N: Not sure how long this story will be. It is not the main series. Just a cute story of Kato taking care of Mystique his girlfriend.
