The Beginning

It was a cold and windy evening here in Bayville. Inside a large silver dome building were two people. The first one was a young woman with dark blue skin and short red hair. She had bright golden eyes and wore a white dress with long white heel boots.

While the second one was an older man with fair skin tone, he had white hair and blue eyes as long as a red and blue helmet that kept telepaths from entering his mind and controlling him. He also wears a purple cape and red chest armor.

"Magneto, why did you want to see me?" The woman asked, looking at the man in front of her.

"Mystique, I have someone for you to meet," Magento said. "You can come in now," He said, turning to face the door.

A man around the same age as the woman named Mystique walked into the room. He was tall and muscular with white fur with black tiger stripes. He had sharp teeth and green eyes with shoulder-length, straight, smooth orange hair. He wore a short-sleeve red shirt with a sleeveless white leather jacket, along with red leather pants. He also had on black shoes that were made to fit his tiger claw feet.

"Well, who is this tiger?" Mystique asked, taken back by the newcomer's muscles.

"Mystique, this is Kato Hall, aka Tigerman," Magento introduced.

"Mystique, lovely name. Looking forward to working with you," Kato said, smiling at the blue woman.

"Working with me?" Mystique questioned, looking at Kato and then at Magento.

"That's correct. From here on out, the two of you will be in charge of training and recruiting new members Into the brotherhood," Magento said.

"That's right," Kato said, holding out a paw towards Mystique.

"Why him?" Mystique asked.

"Kato has a good record with kids. He used to be an instructor of Special Education teacher until his appearance changed, of course," Magento explained.

"That's true. I used just to have the strength of a tiger and ice breath, but now I look like a tiger, so I had to quit my old job," Kato replied.

"Well, okay, I guess working together could be interesting, Kato, and the names Raven but I prefer Mystique when working," Mystique said, shaking Kato's paw.

"Raven, even more lovely, but I remember to call you Mystique," He said to her.

"Now that is settled, you will be using this place as your home for the young recruits in training," Magento said, showing them a picture of a boarding house that could use some remodeling.

"You can use money to fix it since Mystique sends her time working as a principal at Bayville High," Magento."Your first recruit is Todd Tolansky, a young mutant who spends most of his time on the streets after the loss of his mother," He said, holding up a picture of a fourteen-year-old boy who looked like a toad the day he was squatting in the photo.

"Todd Tolansky interesting mutation," Kato said, looking at the photo.

"More like gross," Mystique muttered."Let's go find this boy and begin training him."

"Right females don't like toad are gross things," Kato said."Don't worry; I will protect you from his back hygiene," He said, smiling at her.

”Shut up and be serious!" Mystique snapped.

Magento sighed as he watched the two leaders of his brotherhood in training.

'Maybe this wasn't a good pairing, Tigerman being a first right now, but Mystique will need backup with training a bunch of kids,' He thought, hoping everything would work out fine in the end.

Here we have the prologue, and the first chapter of Tigerman is finally written and published. Sorry if it is short, but don't worry; longer chapters will be coming. I just didn't have anything else to add about how Kato and Mystique first met each other.
