An absolutely normal day at Hexside for Luz and friends even after everything that happened just a year prior.
Luz, Amity, Willow, Gus, and Hunter were all situated in the Photo classroom. Luz being the one whose memories are extracted from.
"Be very careful with the photos." The teacher went on like he usually does "If you damage the photos you damage the memories we wouldn't want a repeat of last time." He shot a glare at Amity at that last part.
"It was an accident!" She exclaimed as Willow pulled another memory and hung it up this one showing Luz about to fight her friends in the dream world that the Collector made.
"You know Luz, you never really told us what happened after that part." Gus said looking at the memory.
Luz let out a small chuckle "Oh man sorry guys, I just been so busy lately that I never really got that chance to tell you all." As she said this Hunter pulled out another memory.
"What is that?!" He suddenly screamed before showing everyone else, the photo showed Luz except she had black sclera, with yellow irises and had a general fluffier look to her.
"Oh that! I got that form when I met the Titan." Luz explained casually like it was nothing.
"The Titan, as in THE TITAN!?" Gus yelled in disbelief.
"Yeah, does someone want to pull out that memory?" Luz asked looking towards everyone.
Hunter looked shocked by either the form or the fact that she met the Titan, or both along with both Willow and Gus.
Amity however was staring at the photo of Luz's Titan form blushing madly. Knowing exactly why Amity was blushing gave Luz an idea.
"Hey Amity, liking what your seeing?" She teased absolutely loving the reaction her girlfriend had.
"Ah! Erm no! I mean YES! GAH WAIT." Luz let out a very hearty laugh as another memory was pulled out this time, her talking to the Titan.
"How did you even get to meet the Titan?" Willow asked whilst giving Amity a teasing look as well.
... oh boy.
"Uh, you see... non of you are going to like it but..." She sighed "I had to die in order to meet him."
A few seconds of silence passed until.
"WHAT!" All four of them yelled out.
"You died!" Amity screamed out.
"How did you come back?!" Gus asked.
"Does that explain why the glyphs don't work any more!?" Willow asked next.
"I first I lose Flapjack then I almost lose you!" Hunter yelled
" Guys! Guys! Calm down! First I'm fine, second the Titan sacrificed himself to bring me back, and third yes that sacrifice was why glyphs don't work anymore." Luz explained.
"The Titan was still alive after all this time." Hunter said mostly to himself.
"Think you might be able to go back to that form again?" Gus asked in a very excited tone.
"No" Luz responded with disappointment in her voice "That power was temporary only enough to stop Belos." The little dangit from Amity did not go unnoticed by Luz but she decided to ignore it.
"Since King is a titan as well, he's very likely to develop the same powers, glyphs could come back one day." Hunter theorized to himself for the most part.
"Well maybe we can theorize all we want after school, we still have some more memories to pull out." Willow said hoping to bring everyone back on track.
"Your right captain, let's get back on track." Hunter agreed
"Oh by the way before I forget." Amity said with some kind of newfound confidence.
"What is it Hermosa?" Luz asked.
"You look very hot in that form." Amity said with as much calmness as she could muster all while she gave Luz a half lidded look the entire time.
