1. Naming
"I am not naming our daughter Josephine, Stark!" Pepper exclaims, throwing her hands in the air for the millionth time.
"It's a perfectly fine name Pep. Kid, tell her."
"... Josephine is a stupid name." Peter blurts, sprinting away as soon as he sees Tony's face. After about five minutes of Underoos teasing Stark and Potts being done with everything, things start to call down.
"Pete do you have any ideas for names?" Pepper asks, desperate for this to be over.
"Not really, I still like Morgan. Weird uncle or not." Peter says, grabbing a pint of ice cream from the freezer and a spoon.
"I don't know, I have a complicated relationship with my family and my uncle was a weird person." Pepper mumbles, taking a spoon from Peter.
"Couldn't that be a good reason to name her Morgan? Take a bit of the family that didn't turn out well and making it your own." The kid says, taking a huge scoop of ice cream.
"Hmm... okay, I like it. What about a middle name?"
"Peter, do you have any ideas?" Tony asks, grabbing a spoon of his own. Backtracking halfway back because he got a fork.
Peter sits there for a moment, spoon in his mouth and head in his palm. Looking out the window with a thoughtful expression.
"What about Teresa?"
"Morgan Teresa Stark, I like that."
2. Stomach Bug
"Poor little thing," Pepper murmurs, laying baby Morgan down for her nap.
"What's wrong Mrs.Potts?" Peter whispers, not wanting to make Morgan up.
"Our littlest Stark has stomach flu, I've been up all night taking care of her. And please, call me Pepper." She says with a large yawn.
"If you want, I can look after her while you get some rest." He offers tentatively.
"Really, oh Peter you're a godsent. Thank you so much!"
"Of course Mrs. Pepper, happy to help. Especially involving my little sister."
For a little while, things were pretty chill. Peter worked on his homework as Morgan slept. That was until...
"Whaaaaa! Wahhhhhh!"
"Oh gosh, oh eww. You poor thing," Peter says, running to the bathroom to get a seat cloth and the baby bath. "It's okay little thing, I got you."
He slowly wiggled Morgan out of her dirty onesie, placing her into the baby bath before running it to the laundry room. When Peter gets back he does his best to clean her off.
"It's okay little one, I got you, Morgan. Mo, Momo." He whispers, holding her close.
3. Nightmare (Morgan is around 5ish now)
"Mini-Boss, Mini-Stark seems to be in distress," Friday tells him.
"What! What's going on?" Peter asks frantically, already racing towards Morgan's room.
"She seems to be having a nightmare." If an AI could sound worried, Friday did.
"Oh, shit"
I peek inside of the darkroom, only barely able to make out the silhouette of Morgan curled up in her bed.
"Mo-Mo? Is everything okay?" Peter whispers, tip-toeing to the edge of her bed.
"N-no." Her voice crack breaking his heart.
"Talk to me Mo."
"I-I'm worried about Daddy." Morgan stutters out between cries, moving into Peter's lap.
"Why are you worried about Dad? He's strong, he'll be okay." He says with as much conviction as he could muster. Peter saw Tony's arm a few days before, he could barely tell it was an arm.
"Hh-he will? Pinky Promise?" Morgan says, sitting up. Her tear-stained face making Peter want to cry himself.
"Pinky Promise, He'll always be here for us. I'll be there for you too." He says, hooking their pinkies together and kissing her forehead.
"I love you 8,000." She mumbles against his chest.
"I love you 8,000 and one."
4. Kidnapping
It was a normal day, Morgan was visiting Peter at his apartment while Pepper and Tony were on a date.
"Pete! I wanna play a game!" The adorable girl says excitedly, bouncing up and down.
"Sure Mo, what do you want to play?"
"What do you- what's wrong Pete?" Noticing her big brother had gone pale and started to stare at the door.
"Mo, do you trust me?"
"Of course!"
"Then stay quiet and come with me, okay?" He asks, racing to Aunt May's room when she nods. Quickly opening and unlocking the closet. Taking off his silver bracelets and slipping them onto Morgan's wrist, them immediately shrinking to fit her tiny wrists.
"Activate Protocol Just in Case." The Iron Spider materializing around Morgan. "Mo, stay quiet and don't go anywhere. I'll be back as soon as I can, got it?"
"W-what's going on?"
"Look, some people are coming up. Bad people, I need you to trust me."
"O-okay." She says shakily, letting Peter lift her into the closet and cover her with clutter.
He closes the door and the closet is completely dark, Morgan shaking and fighting tears back. Jumping with every thumb or bump coming from the hallway/living room.
What feels like hours later to Morgan, the door opens again.
"Munchkin? You in here?" A soft voice asks, a familiar voice.
"Daddy? Daddy!" She exclaims, jumping into her father's arms.
"Oh thank goodness, you okay little girl. Nothing wrong, no owies?" He asks, checking her over. "How are you wearing Pete's suit?"
"He put it on me before he left! Wait- where's Pete! Is he okay? Is he hurt? He's okay right?!" She blurts, eyes flying around the room in a panic.
"He's okay kiddette, just talking to Mama and Auntie May. Pete's okay."
"Ya, I'm okay."
"Pete!" Mo screams, racing and leaping into her brother's embrace. "Are you okay? You're okay, right? You gotta be okay!"
"I'm fine better than fine, how are you feeling?"
"Safe." She mutters, curling into Peter's chest.
"Speaking of which, how could Morgan wear your Iron Spider suit?" Tony asks, staring Peter down over Morgan's shoulder.
"Well....."
