Chapter 2
Steve woke up to the sound of someone making a ruckus in the kitchen. He went downstairs to see Peter up and was making breakfast for the two of them since their mom had left for work an hour ago when Peter looked up from the stove and saw Steve.
“Good morning stevie how'd you sleep” Peter said.
“Yeah I slept great Pete, are you almost done making food?” Steve replied.
“Yeah Steve, I'm almost done with it, give me a second to plate the food, ok kid” Peter answered his question.
When they finished eating breakfast Peter cleaned up because Steve had to get to school in an hour when steve came back to the living room peter was waiting for him at the door to walk him to school
“You don’t have to walk with me to school,” Steve said, to Peter.
“I know I also want to make sure you don't get in any trouble on the way.” Peter said, looking at Steve.
The walk to school was quiet. It wasn't an awkward silence, it was a comfortable silence.
“You know I'm going to miss you and maman when I leave you know that right?” Peter said, breaking the sheltered silence.
“Yeah i know, and were going to miss you so much we love you and your never around any more your always out with friends your leaving again to the army to fight for your country, and i wish i could do that when im older but we both we know i'm not gonna be able to me and maman are gonna miss you so much but i’m happy your doing this” Steve said in a rushed breath with a slight smile.
“I’m gonna miss you and ma so much and when I get back we're gonna spend more time together you and me ok and we’ll spend this week together ok bud” Peter said with a smile.
Time skip to school
When they got to the school Peter stopped Steve at the gate
“Ok have a good day don't get in any fights ok get good grades be nice, see you after school i’ll be here to walk you home ok, ok” Peter said
“Ok Pete see you after school” Steve said back to him.
Peter watched Steve walk into the school and only left after Steve walked in the school.
Time skip to after school this is (≧▽≦) Jesica
When Steve had gotten out of his last class of the day he walked to the front of the school to see peter waiting for me so he start to walk over to peter before he could get to him some jock like kids started pushing him around when Peter saw he came over and said
“Hey leave ‘im alone,” Peter grabbed one of the kids off Steve and pushed the rest away from him. When they walked away from the bullies peter turned to steve and asked
“ Are you ok steve?” peter asked and Steve nodded quickly.
“ Thanks Pete,” Steve muttered to him. Peter looked at him funny and said
“you're my little brother, it's my job to make sure you're always safe and no one messes with you. I don't need any thanks ok Ijust want you safe.”He finished the sentence with a smile.
“Why don't we go out somewhere fun today before we go home, ok just have a brother's day out,” Peter said and looked at me and waited for my answer. “Yeah Pete, that sounds like fun.”
They ended up going to a county fair where they went to the balloon pop game and gave the carney the money to play the game Steve tried first but was short on the throw when Peter tried he got it on the first try.
“how are you such a good throw? I didn't even make the balloons and I tried my hardest” Steve said with a slight pout.
“Well you're what ninety pounds, asmastic, 5 '4 and can barely lift twenty pounds your tiny stevie you've always been” Peter said looking at Steve chuckling.
I look at him and laughed and said “Ok can we move onto the next game” he nodded yes and we moved to the next game
Time skip to a couple hours there walking home
When they got home their mother was there making dinner when she smiled at them and told them to go wash their hands before dinner so Steve went first while Peter kept their mother company while she made dinner. After Steve washed his hands Peter went in to wash his as well and when he came out dinner was ready.
