Comfort

He opened the door to find her standing there, crying. He rushed over to her side and asked her what was wrong.
“They’re gone Kisho. They’re finally gone.” she cried.
He realized what had happened. Her parents were dead, awful people they were. Kisho has hated them since they were little. They would hit Cas, yell at her and after they would sneak out to come visit Kisho. He would do the same when his parents were too much. They were there for each other through it all. When Cas turned 18 (kisho 19) they got out of there as quickly as they could. They got a small crappy apartment, the ac was broken, the window in the bathroom was cracked, and it used to always smell slightly like burnt bread. But it was theirs. They had finally escaped. And now here Cas was, crying for them. They shouldn’t be crying for the people that hurt her. But she was, and Kisho would hold them tight. Tell her everything was alright, and that it would be okay. They had each other. He heard the door open. Aurora and Aiden opened the door slowly. That’s right. They had others now too. It wasn’t just them anymore. Kisho smiled and waved them in. Aurora took a seat next to Cas and Aiden sat next to Kisho. Cas was sitting partially on Kisho's lap, her cries had died down now. They all sat in silence for a bit. Aurora was rubbing circles on Cas’ back and Aiden held their hand. Things weren't the best at the moment. But they had support now. They had people who loved and cared for them.
