TESTS
As Miles and Ganke agreed to meet up in an alley way close to midtown, the rain poored down on them while the grey giant of a cloud rolled over them. the alley was dark as the day was brought to a close and the buildings hid the sun light from reaching the ground, the light from the cars made the rain glow like little blaster rifle ammo from star wars.
"will your powers or power still work in the rain?" Ganke asked with consern of not seeing Miles's powers
"i don't know Ganke, lets just get this done and over with, i don't really want people seeing me climbing a wall without a harness" Miles answered hastily
"ok so i guess just climb that wall"
"really the one with a bunch of gunk on it?" asked with his voiced raised a little
"fine climb that one"
"ok" as Miles walked up to the wall he removed his gloves and put them into his pocket and reached out to the wall then placed his right hand slightly higher and within a few seconds, he was climbing a 5 floor building. He looked down and as he would usually be terified of heights, this one wasn't so bad almost as if his fear had left him so continued to climb and before he knew it he had completey scaled the buildidng
"wow!" Ganke shouted with excitment
"i know it's crazy, now how do i stop holding the wall?" Miles said with a slight of consern growing in his mind
"um pull?"
"that worked last time but i was on my wall in my bedroom so i would't fall to my death"
"good point, couldn't you just fall and shoot a web to catch yourself?"
"Spider-man uses web shooters so i doubt i can organically shoot out a web"
"ok mabye do what you did to climb but with one hand holdig you up on the roof?"
"what?"
"release your hand the way you climbed and put it on the roof and do the same with your other hand there"
"ok i'll try that" as Miles put his hand on the roof he pulled himself up and looked down at Ganke, he had never seen somone look so low down before
"wow you look like an ant!" Miles said with a slight amount of fear in his voice
"so do you want to look for crime?" Ganke asked seriously
"crime? i don't even have a suit!"
"then lets go find one"
Miles and Ganke walked down the sreet looking for a costume shop that was selling a spider-man suit which wouldn't take long since he was such a big icon to most people living in new york. FInding one for under $5.76 would be a diferent story but eventually they found one, a brightly lit yellow shop with a few people in there and the workers (both of them) looked to be undergradates just trying to make money to pay of their debt.
"what about this one?" Ganke asked
"well it looks like the best one here shame it doesn't have boots or gloves" MIles said disapointedly
"lets just get it" Ganke said as they walked over to the till to pay for what they'd picked up and pay the $4.99 and walked out of the shop.
as miles put the suit on he imedietly noticed that it thin and probalby would break after a single punch but he still used it and went out looking for crime to fight which he eventually did find, although it was only two crooks beating someone
"go on, fight them" Ganke wispered into Miles ear
"oh right yea i'm a hero now" so miles walked towards them and tried to intimidate them but all that came out was a voice crack of a voice
"what was? oh it's just some spider-freak knockoff, piss off kid" the first thug said
"what you're doing is wrong so i'm here to stop you" Miles said
"you won't listen will you? guess we'll have to beat someone else" the second thug said witha voice that sounded like he'd been winded 15 times.
Both thugs ran towards Miles and started to beat him while Ganke pulled his phone out to start recording as evidence for the police. But the thugs both started to beat Miles Winding him, cut his nose and gave him a black eye. And then miles reached out instinctively grabbed both mens jackets and a bright burst of elctricity came shooting out blasting them back against the wall
"holy shit!" Ganke yelled out with a look of shock and excitment on his face
"what did i do?" Miles asked
"i don't know? are they dead?" Ganke asked with fear in his voice. as Miles walked over and chaecked they're pulse
"no still alive just unconsious i guess" Miles said
"i think we should leave, should i post it on youtube?"
"um sure, we'll get a bit of publicity i guess" Miles said calmly gathering his thoughts after what had happened
