Eddie x reader x Venom

Venom thinking.
Venom speaking aloud.
A lot of people thought that being a vampire would grow dull and depressing over time.

They thought days would feel as long as a decade, and being constantly surrounded by death would wear its toll.

And for many of your kind, this could be true, but not for you.

Every day was a new adventure, and each decade was filled with change.

As for the death, it could be sad. With a friend or a loved one who chose to live out life's expectancy despite your offer of immortality.

Yes, moments like that could darken a day, but it was life. Death came to all, well, most, whenever he decreed, but it was a part of the life cycle.

Some would then ask how soulless and guilt-ridden you felt at the deaths by your hand.

The murders that you committed just to keep yourself fed.

To which you'd say, those shitheads deserved it.

You only fed on society's most immoral scum. Those who toyed with people and hurt them for the sake of doing so.

In short, you loved who you were. You loved living, loved helping people in your own little way, and most of all, you loved the people you got to meet along the way.

The friends you'd remember until your mind went silent, those who would go from obscurity to stardom, and the loves you had along the way.

So many of your kind had stories upon stories of world-shattering romances, most of which would end in tragedy.

You didn't have any world-shattering romances, but you had plenty you remembered fondly. No matter the length, if it were a one-night thing or decade long encounter, you remembered them all.

But none were like Eddie Brock.

Yes, there were elements of some of your previous lovers that drew you towards Eddie in the beginning, but as your relationship evolved, you saw the differences.

There was a darkness to him, yes, but strangely it didn't drown out the light that was Eddie Brock, and it didn't feel suffocating.

The puzzle that was Eddie Brock caused many sleepless nights for you, and it wasn't until a year into your relationship that you got confirmation.

You'd come home to two men in your home, stuffing your possessions into a large sack.

You were merely going to scare the two, but that was before the shorter one pulled out a gun and shot you in the head.

"I hate violence." You sighed, pulling the bullet out of your forehead. "But just from how quick you were to shoot me, I know you've shot others before. So, I'll make an exception for you two." You said before lunging.

You were in the middle of drinking the second man when you heard the door open.

And, there, standing in the middle of your open door, was Eddie.

His face was contorted in shock and confusion as he looked around your front room.

"It's not what it looks like?" You said, despite the fact it was clearly a question. "It's for a play?" You tried, blood dripping from your chin onto the floor.

"We can come back to that obvious lie in a second," Eddie promised you. "But first, we have one question,"

"Can we have the head?" A low growl of a voice asked as a head materialised on Eddie's shoulder.

You should have screamed.

A sane person would have screamed and run for the hills at the sight of a gooey head with large white eyes and more teeth than a great white shark on their partner's shoulder.

But you weren't a sane person.

This wasn't something that made you want to run for the hills, and if it did, that would be very hypocritical.

And this didn't scare you because you loved Eddie.

And now it was finally making sense why he fit in so well with your crazy.

"You can have the whole body if you want." You offered the head.

"I like this one, Eddie."
So, that was the day you found out about Venom.

It was also the day your boyfriend, well, boyfriends, discovered you were a vampire.

And now, looking back on it, and an entire year later, you realised everything could have turned out so much worse.

"Why are you two leaving?" You whined as Eddie and Venom got out of bed. "I'm dying, for Christ sake."

"Dying?" Venom growled, his body suddenly hovering above yours. "Eddie, call Dan!"
"Y/N isn't dying, Vee," Eddie promised the symbiote. "She's being dramatic, is all." He added, throwing a mock glare your way.

"Dramatic?" You gasped, sitting upright. "I'll have you know that hunter could have killed me last night. I could've been dead right now." You told the two.

"Out of everyone in the bar, you had to pick the hunter to try and eat." Eddie shook his head.

"He smelt good."

"He smelt good."
"The two of you are hopeless." Eddie sighed but gave you both a fond look.

"Back to my original question, why are you two leaving your poor, wounded girlfriend all alone?" You asked as Venom receded most of himself back into Eddie's body.

"If you were really wounded, you'd be dead, Y/N. You got grazed." Eddie reminded you. "And I have to let Vee out because,"

"Hungry!"
"Ah, well, understandable." You nodded, flopping backwards on the bed.

"Wait, what? Why is that a good enough answer?" Eddie questioned you.

"Babe, I love you. I love you, and I love Vee, but I don't want to be around either of you when you're hungry." You told the two.

"Mean." Venom pouted.

"I love you, sweetie." You promised, blowing a kiss his way. "Seriously, let Vee run free for a while. Let him swing around the city, scare children, eat a mugger, just let him have fun. And you too, you've been smothering me since last night." You told the journalist.

"But you were just complaining we were leaving." Eddie pointed out with a confused look.

"Yeah, because you're my favourite pillow, and you moved." You teased. "It's a girlfriend thing, hon. You won't get it."

"Ah, gotcha." Eddie nodded in understanding.

"We don't get it. What do we need to get?" Venom asked, looking between the two of you.

"Eddie will explain on your run." You promised the symbiote. "Go on, Eddie. Take our boy out for the night."

"Alright, but you have to promise to stay in bed and rest," Eddie said, pointing his finger at you.

"Ay, ay, Captain." You saluted the two before they jumped out of the window.

It didn't take long for you to curl up on the boy's side and fall back asleep.

Hey, you were injured and tired, no point in fighting sleep when you needed it.

"Y/N, wake up." Eddie cooed in your ear, gently shaking your shoulder.

"Ngh." You moaned, swatting at the man.

"Wake up, Y/N," Venom repeated, shaking your shoulder as well, with just a bit more force.

"God, you two, I'm gonna get motion sickness." You complained, prying your eyes open. "Have a good run, dears?"

"It was great." Venom grinned, teeth on full display. "We caught two muggers, and we ate a drug!"
"A druggie, Vee." Eddie corrected the symbiote.

"Sounds like a busy night for criminals. I should have come with you." You said.

"We thought you'd say something like that," Eddie said, reaching into his backpack. "So, we brought you a little something." He told you, pulling out a bottle filled with dark liquid.

"Is that what I think it is?" You gasped, jolting upright.

"The blood of one mugger," Eddie confirmed, handing the bottle over to you.

"We drained him all on our own." Venom added proudly.

"Thank you, sweetheart." You grinned before kissing the symbiote. "And thank you too, babe." You added also kissing Eddie.

"Someone's got to look after the injured vampire," Eddie said as you opened the bottle and inhaled the aroma deeply.

"And what would I do without my boys?" You asked before drinking deeply from the gift.

"Vee, please tell me our boy's still in bed." You asked, holding your phone between your shoulder and your ear.

"We won't let him leave." Venom told you. "We have him secure in bed."
"Yeah, and I kind of need to pee," Eddie called over the line.

"You can let him use the bathroom, Vee." You told the symbiote. "Just keep a bowl close by in case he decides to lose his lunch."

"Eddie hasn't had lunch." Venom declared. "We cooked, but Eddie didn't eat."
"I'd only eat whatever that was if I wanted to throw up." Eddie moaned.

"Oh, that's rude, Eddie." You scolded the man as you exited your home. "Vee's a great cook."

"You're only saying that because he makes you blood smoothies." Eddie gagged.

"And they taste fantastic." You firmly told the man. "Alright, Vee, I'm on my way over, and I'm bringing medication for Eddie. Is there anything else you two need?"

"Food," Eddie whined. "And access to my laptop."

"Y/N said working was stress and not good for sickness." Venom chided his host.

"The two of you are ganging up on me, and I don't like it."

"You love us, and you know it." You reminded the man with a smirk on your face. "I'll be there in ten minutes. I love you."

"We love you too, Y/N!"
"Yeah, love ya, babe!"

As you made your way to the boy's apartment, dropped into Mrs Chen's store.

"Hey, Mrs Chen!" You called, giving the woman behind a counter a wave.

"Oh, hi, Y/N." The woman smiled at you. "The chocolate supply came in yesterday. Where are the boys?"

"Eddie's caught the flu going around. Vee'll rid of it by tonight, but it's hit him pretty hard." You said, taking several types of cold and flu medication off the shelf.

"Men will always whine with even the smallest of colds." Mrs Chen told you. "My husband is just the same."

"Well, to be fair, Vee's been cooking for Eddie, and he's not always the best cook." You mentioned. "You know, for normal people's stomachs."

"Why don't you bring him some soup?" The woman suggested. "The simplest of things are always the best cures." She said before pointing to a shelf behind you.

And sure enough, behind you were several options of soup. Some frozen, some in packets, but there was one that caught your eye.

"Did you make this?" You asked, picking up a container of 'Chen's Soup' in your hand.

"That? No, my husband actually makes that. I just do the packaging." She told you with a smile.

"Well, I'll take it too." You said, placing your armful of supplies on the counter. "Could I also pick up Vee's chocolate for this week?"

"You realise that's a whole pallet, right?" Mrs Chen asked, raising a brow at you.

"I might have to get some bags off you."

"Oh, honey's, I'm home!" You called, holding the door to the boy's apartment open with your foot.

"That was not ten minutes." Eddie's stuffy voice came from the bedroom. "If that was ten minutes, I'll eat my hat."

"You do not own a hat, Eddie. And you should not eat one if you did." Venom chided, causing you to cackle.

"No, I was not ten minutes, but I do come bearing gifts." You said, walking into the bedroom, your arms laden down with bags.

"What did you rob a grocery store?" Eddie asked, barely lifting his head off the expanse of Venom's chest.

"I'd never." You gasped, mock offended. "Here I was bringing treats and offerings to my boyfriends, and I get accused of theft. For shame Eddie Brock. For shame." You tutted, dropping the bags on the floor.

"Treats?"
"Please say there's something for my head in there," Eddie begged.

"Of course there is." You said, rummaging through one of the many bags before throwing a small bottle Eddie's way, which Venom caught deftly with one tentacle.

"Yay." Eddie weakly cheered.

"And," You started before pulling out the container of soup. "Mrs Chen's finest get well quick remedy for you, Mr Brock. And for our lovely symbiote, I have this weeks chocolate supply." You said, gesturing to the remaining bags.

"Chocolate!" Venom cheered before quickly snatching one of the bags from the floor.

"What would we do without you?" Eddie asked as Venom tore into his prized sweets.

"Suffer and starve." You told the man honestly.

"Hurry up. Hurry up." Venom demanded impatiently. "We need to go now."
"You want me to go in just my bra?" You asked, raising a brow at the symbiote.

"No." The possessive being immediately replied.

"Then give me a minute."

"Yeah, bud, I need to find my pants still," Eddie said, rubbing his red neck as he searched for the lost fabric.

"Eddie, you do not need clothes. We cover you." Venom tried to reason.

"I still want to wear my pants, Vee. Just in case you slip and I end up half-naked in an alley, again." Eddie told him.

"I don't think I've heard that one." You said, slipping on one of Eddie's long-sleeved shirts.

"Good because I don't want to relive it." Eddie shook his head. "Aw, babe, I like that shirt." Eddie whined.

"So do I." You said with a smirk.

"Please don't get blood on it. I've got like five things without blood on 'em." Eddie sighed, giving up the fight before it even began.

"I'm a clean eater, Eddie. It'll be just as it is now later." You promised.

"We're going to have a messy feast soon if the two of you don't hurry up." Venom growled, causing the two of you to turn back to the hungry symbiote.

"Alright, sweetheart, let's get you something to eat." You said, making Venom grin.

Within a second, Venom had taken over Eddie's form, and the the two of you were out the window, racing through the city.

"We see a meal." Venom growled happily before jumping down into an alley, with you on his heels.

Inside the alley was an older man, holding a crying teen against a wall, while another filmed on his phone.

Venom pulled the man off the girl and threw him into his friend, knocking them both to the ground.

"Did either of them touch you?" You asked the girl as you pulled her away from the scene. "Did they do anything to you?"

"No." The girl sobbed.

"It's okay, it's alright. It's over. They can't hurt you anymore." You soothed the girl. "Alright, what you need to do is go to the hospital." You said, looking deeply into the girls eyes. "Tell them you were attacked and someone attempted to assault you. You didn't see us. After you leave this alley, you will forget us and only remember that you got away and you're safe. Okay?" You compelled the girl.

"Okay." She blankly parroted back before turning on her heel and walking away from the scene.

"Please, tell me there's something left for me to play with?" You asked, turning back to your boys.

"Enough." Venom said, munching away on one man's arm.

"Fantastic."

What the three of you had, wasn't something you'd ever experienced in all your years of living.

And if it were to end, it was something you were sure you'd never experience again.

But that was fine.

Because this was special. Your boys were special and your relationship even more so.

Because you could share experiences and memories and most of all, mealtimes.
