You were walking around the mall when your eyes land on something, you immediately knew you had to buy it. You come home with your newest purchase full of excitement.
“Hi детка (baby)” your girlfriend greets you as you run to give her a big hug. “Hi Lena, I’ve got something for you. I hope you like it.” You say while handing her the bag.
“If you’re so excited about it, I’m sure I’ll love it.” Yelena says while placing a soft kiss on your lips. She thought it was adorable how you got so excited over gifts, even more so since she learned that your love language was giving gifts. She loved how you just picked up little things that reminded you of her or thought would be a nice addition to your house.
“Fanny, hi I missed you” you say while patting the dogs head. Yelena moves over to the couch to open your present, you join her with Fanny laying at your feet.
Yelena takes the folded piece of fabric out of the bag “you got me a new vest!” the girl says with the same excitement as you had entered the home. She unfolds it to inspect if further “uhm I think you got the wrong size, this won’t fit me детка” she giggles.
“Oh no it’s the right size, hold on.” You quickly walk over to the bedroom to get one of Yelena her vests. “Here put this on please” you say while holding out your hands to take the new vest from Yelena.
While Yelena puts on the vest you turn to your dog. “Fanny sit” the dog obeys, looking up at you. You zip open the vest and put it on her. You look over at Yelena to see her reaction. Tears well up in her eyes as she realizes what the gift meant, with your thumbs you wipe away the tears that roll down. “Do you like it?” you say, still holding her face. “I love it, thank you so much y/n” she says while kissing you.
Your kiss gets broken by an excited Fanny jumping on your legs. “Fanny look, we’re matching!” Yelena says while scratching her behind her ears. “Now we’ll have more pockets when we go on a walk. Let’s go see what we can put in yours.”
You sit back smiling at how excited your girlfriend is about filling up the newly acquired pockets.
Fanny comes walking back in the room wiggling his tail. His vest pockets now filled with toys and mess bags. “And I can stitch her name on it” Yelena say while she sit back down on the couch with you. “I love you so much, thank you.” She says while hugging you tight.
