He was running through the grass, a self made sword in his hand & chasing invisible monsters. Far away Thor is yelling "For Asgard", while swinging the sword & running down the hill. Loki stands still, taking a moment to breath & wating for Thor. "It's the last one", says Loki, when Thor is coming to him. "Oh yes-", smiles Thor. "it is the King of them. We have to defeat him together." Thor puts is free arm around Lokis shoulder and pulling him closer.
"Together Brother", says Thor with a big smile on his face & pointing with his sword on the big invisible Monster.
"Together", smiles Loki back.
"And the monster is dead & Asgard is safed", yells Thor happily & jumps aground. "The people are grateful for their two princes and celebrating their bravery. Do you hear them Loki?" ask Thor & let himself fall into the grass. "I do" says Loki laughing & lays down next to Thor. "One day, I will haunting real monsters & the people will celebrating me just like that", smiles Thor bright. "and they will sing songs about my adventures and my heroic deed" "And about mine, right?" ask Loki and looks questioningly to his brother. "Of course!" says Thor & is looking at his little brother. "when you're old enough, you can join me." smiles Thor, but Loki is shaking is head. "I am old enough!" does he says a little bit angrily & sits down. "I'm not a baby. I'm just 446 years younger than you." he is crossing his arms & starring furious at Thor.
Thor sighs & sits up to. "But you still training with wooden swords. Mother would never allow it", says Thor calm & putting a hand on Lokis shoulder. "The day Tyr is giving you a really Sword to fight, is the day we are chasing real monsters together"
"okay" sighs Loki & giving Thor a small smile. He hates that everyone is saying that he is to young for this and that, but sooner or later, he will be old enough & then he can do all the things that Thor can.
"But until this day come, we still can play and...Ohhh I have an idea" yells Thor & stands up. "you can do an illusion of an monster!" "what?" ask loki suprised and shakes his head. "I can't" says he, but Thor isn't listing. "I saw how you did illusions with Mother. You can do it here, so I can practice how to kill a real monster"
"I'm not sure. I can't control it perfectly" mumbles Loki, but Thor just smiles. "well then see this as an practice for you to". Thor is reaching for his hand and brings him up. "it doesn't have to be a big monster" says Thor blithely and stands behind Loki. His big hands are around Lokis shoulder and giving him support.
"I know you can do it" whispers Thor & Loki is nodding. I can do it, repeats Loki in his mind and starting to focusing at his magic. Green magic is floating around his hands & is starting to collide a few meters away from him. It's starting to form a body. Thor gasp behind him and sounds impressed.
The green body is growing & then it makes a noise. Surprised about it, Loki is losing his focus. "This never happened before", does he say with a shocking tone in his voice and Thor is shaking him. "Why did you stop? Do it again!" says Thor inviting and so starts Loki again.
He never focused on something that big before. He just made flowers, butterflys or little birds, but never a Monster which is almost 2 meters tall. "You have to attack more, Loki!" yells Thor and swinging his sword and hurtig the left arm of that monster. "I'm trying", yells loki back and moves a step forward and pushing the air, while the monster is imitate his movement. Thor is jumping out of the way and is getting behind the green Monster.
"Can you make it bigger?" asks Thor and stabs the sword in the back. "I'm not sure", answers loki and looks uncertain to his brother. Thor smiles when he says "Please make it bigger"
Loki sighs and is trying to make it bigger. It is glowing and growing, while Thor cheers happy. "This is a Challenge" says Thor and swings his sword. Thor yells happy while Loki is trying to fight. To have the control over it, is harder than before. It looks like the monster is having his own movement and don't copy Lokis anymore.
"Thor" yells Loki worried. "I thing, I don’t control it". But Thor isn't listing. He swings his sword, jumps out of the way, yells "for Asgard" and tries to reach the head. The Monster is pushing and growling and getting with every punsh from Thor angrier and angrier. Thor seems not to realize it and does everything that he ever learned.
Loki is trying to undone the magic but it didn't work. It looks like the magic is not listing to him and he starts to panic. He knows that his mother once told him what to do when his seidr is not listing to him anymore, but he can't remember.
He can't remember it.
"Thor" screams Loki with panic in his voice and starts walking toward his brother. "Please, go away from it." But Thor is just laughing. "Don't worry Brother. I have everything under-" The Monster graps the sword and throws Thor away. He is flying through the air and landing hard on the ground. Loki stops & forgetts how to breath.
I'm in so much trouble, thinks Loki and it feels like is heart stopped too. But then Thor stands up. Grass and dirt in his hair & face and a big grin on his face.
Oh by the norns, of course he would smile.
"This was awesome" says Thor & is lifting his hands in the air. "I don't know how you did it. But do it again" smiles he happy, but Loki want to cry. Why is Thor not realizing that this situation is so dangerous? The Monster starts walking toward Thor again & his brother looks like he is ready to fight again. Loki starts running. He is reaching the Monster, in the same moment as Thor is jumping toward it. Loki is touching a leg and trying to form another firgure, but it just starts glowing. “What are you doinig, Brother?” aks Thor and ducks away from a punsh.
“I’m trying, to stop- AH” The Monster is holding Loki on his Leg and throws him away. Not as hard or wide, it did with Thor, but when he is landing on the ground its still hurts. Loki hears how Thor is screaming is Name and Loki is sitting up. He sees how Thor is walking past the Monster and comes running in his direction. But the Monster is reaching for Thors hair and pulling him back. Thor trys to get out of the position, but the Monster is not letting go.
Magic fights Magic, thinks Loki and makes a little Dagger out of his Magic. He starts running again and befor he reachs Thor and the Monster, it seems like everthing happens in slowmotion. The Monster is lifting Thor up. The big, monstrous Paw, is around Thors neck. The Sword is falling out of Thors hands, then the Monster is throwing Thor away and Loki stabs the Dagger in the Leg of the Monster.
In an big green Explosion the Monster is vanishing.
For a moment, Loki takes the Time to breath. Green foggy strings are flowing on the Ground, before their finally away. He looks up, to the Direction the Monster throw Thor. Loki starts running to his Brother. When he see him lying in the grass, he slows down. “Thor?” asks Loki garefully. His Brother is lying on the Side, with the back in his direction, the left arm looks broken and somewhere Thor lost Blood.
“Thor!” says Loki with panic in his voice. “This is not funny” He kneels down and putting Thor on the back. His eyes are closed, blood comes out of his Nose, his lips are splitted too. He has several injurnies on his arms and blood his coming through his clothes. “Thor” whispers Loki and tears starting to fill his eyes. Loki is touching his Brother face garefully. “Please, Thor-” mumbles Loki. “you have to stand up. Please this isn’t funny”, tears are running down his checks. “I’m sorry, i doens’t wanted to hurt you. I just....I just lost the controle...please stand up and were goining Home. I want to go home”
But Thor dosen’t move or open his eyes. Loki stands up shakily and sniffling, he wipes away the tears. “Stay here. Everthing will be fine...I just goinig to get Mother. She knows what to do...I'll be right back” with a last touch on Thors head, he starts running. Tears are runnig out of his eyes, blur his vision while he is running up the hill.
He is running against a Person. “Please my Broth-” “This is the Variant”, interrupts a male Voice and Loki is looking up and realize that these are not Guards. They wearing weird Black clothes and the man, he collided with is now holding his wrist. “Don’t touch me!” yells Loki and fear is paired with his panic. “In the Name of the Timekeepers-” starts the Man to say. “I’m arresting you, because of your Crimes against the Sacred Timeline” They walking towards an weird looking portal. Loki fights againts the man and tries to get him off. “No, Please, my Brother needs Helps”, but their not listing.
“Reset it”
He stands in front of a big Desk. Nobody said anything to him or what this place is. The Woman behinde the desk looks down on him. “Laufeyson. Variant L2484, aka Loki Laufeyson, is chared with sequence violation 9-22-53″ says the Woman and Loki is getting with every Secone more confused. Laufeyson? Variant? What does this mean? He looks up to her with big teary eyes. “How do you plead?” ask she. “What?” asks he afraid. “I just want to go Home.” “Are you guilty or not guilty?”
He shakes his Head and tears coming back. “Guilty about what? I don’t now what I-” “The court finds you guilty and-” “Guilty about what?” interrupts Loki angry and frustrated and the woman tend her head. “Guilty about killing Thor Odinson” “No!” screams Loki “He is not...I didn’t-” he stops and is falling on his knees. He starts to cry. “I didn’t...he is not...I...” he mumbles.
Thor isn’t dead.
He might be hurt.
But not dead.
“He is and thats your fault. You weren’t supposed to kill him and now I sentence you to be reset” says the Woman and Hands bringing him up on his feet. “I’m sorry....this wasn’t my intention...Please-” does he say, but nobody is listing. The Man is leading him out of the Room. “I want to go home”, says Loki when they walking through the Hallway. “You can’t go home Kid. Your Timeline doesn’t exist anymore.” The words are flying through his head and making him want to cry again.
“Is he really dead? Did i really killed my Brother?” asks Loki when they enter a new Room. The Man sighs. “Yes he is and yes, you did. But don’t worry you’re not the first Loki who did it” says the man and before Loki can say anthing he gets a shock and starts to vanishing.
