Tony x reader x Loki

For being a genius, Tony was an idiot. In the years before he began dating Loki and Y/N, Pepper, Rhodey, and Happy had to basically keep him alive.

Pepper had to remind him to eat, had to force him to sleep at least four hours a night, and that water was also a beverage he could drink.

Happy was the man's bodyguard, and he had earned his position. He had to protect Tony from any threats, deal with crazy ex-one-night-stands, and protect him from himself.

Rhodey had been looking after Tony since the man was fifteen years old, enough said.

The three couldn't be more grateful when Tony began seeing Y/N and Loki because suddenly, they didn't have to look after the man all the time. For the first time in years, Tony was looking after himself.

Well, mostly.

Now, the biggest threat to Tony's health was Y/N and Loki.

And not because they were dangerous, but because they weren't human and didn't run as humans do.

Loki was a frost giant. And even when he was in his regular form, he ran nearly twenty degrees colder than everyone else.

And Y/N was a phoenix who ran hotter than any other person could survive. And that was when she wasn't using her powers or about to burn.

Tony did not seem to comprehend that being with the two would mean he'd have to constantly change the number of layers he wore. Or that he'd have to adjust the room's temperature whenever he insisted on laying on one, or both, of his partners.

But Tony never really learned.

Despite the health risks being with Loki and Y/N posed to him, Tony never changed.

Because he didn't care.

He was Tony Stark, a genius without a sense of self-care, and he would do whatever he liked.

And that meant Y/N and Loki.

Non-reader POV

"JARVIS informs me you have worked yourself into sickness again," Loki announced, strutting into the lab.

"No, he didn't. I haven't." Tony half-heartedly denied.

Tony didn't have the brain capacity to completely focus on his lover, not when he was so close to finishing his work.

If only the equation would stay in one place.

"Actually, I did, sir," JARVIS told his creator. "And my scans do indicate that you are, in fact, ill, sir.

"I'm as healthy as a horse, you two," Tony said, looking first to Loki and then the ceiling. "Ooh, moved too fast." he groaned, holding a hand to his head.

"A dead horse perhaps," Loki muttered, stalking over to the man and placing a hand on his head. "Tony, you're burning alive."

"And you're an icicle." Tony sighed happily, pushing his head into Loki's hand. "Stay just like that so I can finish this."

"Absolutely not." Loki tutted. "You're coming back to bed with me." He said, pulling Tony to his feet.

"Oh, am I now?"

"Yes, you are. You're coming back to bed to rest." Loki said, narrowing his eyes at the brunette. "And if you even try to sneak off, I will bind you to the bed myself."

"Kinky." Tony coughed.

"Anthony."

"Yes, dear?"

"Get in the elevator," Loki ordered.

"Yes, dear." Tony sighed before trudging his way into the elevator.

"JARVIS, lock the lab down until Tony is back to what constitutes as well for him," Loki said, moving to Tony's side.

"Of course, sir."

"What? Hey, no. J, you're supposed to be on my side, here." Tony spluttered.

"Apologies, sir. But you asked me to follow Mr Laufeyson and Miss L/N's directions as though they were your own." JARVIS reminded the man.

"I'm donating you to a McDonald's drive-thru."

"How sweet. You asked JARVIS to listen to Y/N and I," Loki smirked. "And you've never mentioned this once."

"Oh, boy." Tony sighed. "Can we save the mocking until I can concentrate on anything but my head pounding?" He begged.

"I think it's sweet," Loki promised, leaning over to kiss Tony's cheek. "But that doesn't mean I'm going to let you out of bed."

"Spoilsport." Tony pouted, pulling his Black Sabbath shirt off, leaving himself in a singlet.

"What are you doing, Anthony?" Loki asked, quirking a brow at the man.

"It's too hot."

"That's because you're ill, darling."

"Don't care why. It's just hot." Tony said as they arrived on their floor.

"Alright, let's go," Loki said, holding Tony's shoulders and leading him towards the bed.

"Seriously, don't take your hands off me." Tony sighed. "You're sticking close until this thing kicks, Elsa." He said, kicking off his jeans.

"Tony, I'm too cold for you to be constantly touching me." Loki reminded the genius. "Especially while you're already horrific immune system is compromised. And while you insist on shedding more clothes," Loki said as Tony collapsed on the bed, now clad in only his boxers.

"But Loki." The brunette whined. "You feel good."

"Not the first time that's been said," Loki smirked.

"Oh, I'll bet." Tony agreed. "Get in bed with me, so I can use you as my personal ice block, please. C'mon I said please."

"Oh, alright. But only once you're under the covers." Loki bargained.

"I'm under the covers. I've been under the covers for longer than you can imagine." Tony rambled as he scurried under the blanket.

Without commenting on Tony's frenzied speech, a feat in itself, Loki moved to lie beside his human.

"This is what I'm talking about." Tony sighed, resting his head on Loki's chest.

"Glad I could be of some comfort to you." Loki softly smiled, gently running his fingers through Tony's hair.

"Hope you don't have any plans for the next few hours, 'cos I'm not letting you move," Tony said, wrapping himself around the God as much as the blanket would allow.

"That's quite alright, my darling," Loki promised. "There's nowhere else I'd rather be."

Reader POV

"Oomph! Hello to you too." You grunted as Tony settled himself on your lap. "I think you just crushed my pelvis."

"No way. You've got super strength, remember?" Tony reminded you as he pushed his face into your neck.

"Since when was that something I was capable of?" You asked, raising a brow at the man.

"I don't know. We haven't catalogued all of your abilities yet." Tony shrugged. "For all I know, you can breathe fire or see through clothes."

"I don't breathe fire, and I can't see through clothing, Tony." You rolled your eyes fondly.

"Are you sure about that?" Tony asked, raising a brow darlingly. "What colour is my underwear?"

"That's a trick question. I know you didn't put any on this morning." You told the man with a smirk. "And honestly, honey, I don't think you would have needed them. You already have too many clothes on."

"Oh, really? You want me to take some off?" Tony asked, waggling his brows at you.

"No, because you're clearly cold." You said, looking over the man's attire. "Are you wearing two of Loki's hoodies?" You wondered.

"No." Tony denied. "It's one hoodie and one sweater."

"And you've stolen my socks." You pointed out.

"They're fuzzy." Tony shrugged.

"Tony, you've got the heat so high even I can feel it." You rolled your eyes. "And now you're cuddled up to me. You're going to overheat."

"No, I'm not. You're making me toasty warm." Tony said, pushing himself further into you. "Are you warmer than normal?"

"I'm supposed to burn in two days." You hummed as Tony played with your hair. "Everything's running hotter than normal."

"I don't know. I think you always look pretty hot." Tony flirted.

"Tony, you're sweating. There is literal sweat on your forehead." You told the man. "Look, I am all for cuddling, but if you're going to insist on being this close to me while I'm this hot, you need to lose some clothes."

"But then I'll be cold," Tony complained.

"Not while huddled up to me you won't be." You promised. "Please, for me, Tones."

"Fine." Tony pouted before reluctantly pulling off both Loki's sweaters.

"Cold yet?" You asked as Tony pulled your arms around him in the way he wanted.

"Not yet," Tony mumbled, his head resting on your shoulder.

"Tell me when you get there."

"Won't with you."

"Hm, you've changed your shampoo," Loki commented, curled into your back. "It smells spicier."

"Thought it was time for a change." You hummed, playing with Loki's icy fingers. "Does it smell alright?"

"I love it. I think it fits you perfectly," Loki promised, clutching you closely. "But you always smell a little warmer to me."

"Warmer?" You wondered, turning in his arms to face the God.

"You smell like pepper, and jasmine, and sandalwood," Loki told you. "The best parts of fire." He added before leaning in to kiss you.

"You're a smooth one, aren't you, silvertongue?" You smirked when he pulled away.

"It is one of my many talents." Loki grinned before running a hand down your side. "Along with giving you chills."

"You're as cold as ice to a regular human, darling. I feel naked in a snowstorm when you touch me." You told him.

"But?" Loki prompted you.

"I like it. I don't like the cold when it's not you." You continued.

"And you are the only source of fire I would rush into without fear." Loki told you.

"You're too good with words, you know that right?" You asked, quirking a brow.

"Of course, I do." Loki nodded. "I take great pride in using my words against both you and Anthony."

"Trust me, we both know." Tony said as he entered the bedroom. "You use it to your advantage all the time." He added, beginning to strip off his clothes.

"Bad meeting, dear?" You asked, pushing yourself up onto one elbow.

"Just long." Tony shrugged, rubbing at his eyes. "The idiots didn't know a thing about what they were talking about. And every ten minutes one guy would get up and turn the heat up, and then another would turn the room into Antarctica." He sighed.

"Poor Anthony." Loki cooed. "And how would you have us help you?"

"Just hold me. I'm half freezing, and half overheating." Tony said, kicking his shoes off. "The only way I'm gonna fix it is if I'm sandwiched between my space heater and ice-block."

"Of course." You nodded, already making room for Tony to crawl between you and Loki. "Just sleep, Tony." You said, wrapping an arm around Tony's waist and intertwining your legs.

"We'll take care of the rest." Loki promised, pushing one of his arms under Tony's head for the genius to use as a pillow.

"Whoever said the world was going to end with fire and ice was wrong." Tony muttered sleepily. "Completely wrong."
