A few fluffy moments between two lovebirds
Note
I AM SIMPLY LIVING AND BREATHING DRAKKARI RIGHT NOW, SO I JUST HAD TO WRITE ABOUT THEM, HOPE U ENJOY

The Erernals, half of them to be exact, were at the Phastos's home, just relaxing at this point. Those few hours were deeply challenging, and their muscules needed that sweet sweet regeneration.

Makkari raided the kitchen to find some snacks, like Twinkies or nachos, but she wasn't going to be fussy. She just wanted food. Being a speedster came with huge cravings. And she just had to shut them down with food. No other option.

At this time, Thena was trying to figure out how to turn on an electric kettle. She was confused to say the least, but still insisted for no one to help her. That fight was between two of them, and them only. All was left to do, was wish her good luck.

Phastos was patiently waiting for them to kindly leave, as well as for pizza delivery guy, at the same time trying to keep an eye on his son, making sure he's not talking about suspicious stuff with any of the not so wanted guests. He truthfully was a multitasker.

And the last of them, Druig, he was just sitting on the couch, waiting for Makkari to return to him. And when she did, it felt like a sunshine after a long rainy night, a cold compress on a sunburn. Everything about her was perfect. No one could compare to her. Also she gave him a bowl of chips, so double win?

Woman sat next to him, with a soft smile on her face. Her smile, felt like a victory even after the worst faulier. She was his favourite undoubtedly. So beautiful, gorgeous and remarkable. The best of them all. Did i mention how beautiful he thought she is?

He wouldn't admit to himself that he had soft spot for her. No, no. He was the mean, sarcastic one, and wanted to keep being considered as such. But somehow it didn't work with Makkari. Next to her even the tone of his voice was different. Not his branded one. That for sure.

They were just eating in peace. It felt nice. It's not like they needed to talk. Just being there was enough.

Yet one moment, she just rested her head on man's shoulder. That made him smirk a little. His heart started to beat a little faster, woman could feel that. It was a nice moment.

For instance, the one that made her blush, like a lot, saying that her cheecks were feeling like hot lava on her face wouldn't be an exaggeration, was when Druig just wrapped his hand around her, bringing her closer and letting women rest on his chest. He could feel the warmth of her face through his shirt. It felt so comforting on his skin.

When it comes to her, Makkari accepted the fact of having itsy bitsy crush on him. Well, she even embraced it.

He always made her feel special. She read a lot of books in her life, and everytime that the main character was adored by someone. It reminded her of him. The way he treated her. He made her feel like the main character. Like she's the one that the world is turning for. Just so good.

"You guys wanna play board games with me?" Phastos's son showed up in front of them out of nowhere. He was holding a bunch of games in his hands. The kid seemed nice, and very polite. Of course they didn't remember his name. Uncle and Auntie on point. Truthfully.

"I'm not a player." Of course the mean sarcastic one spoke up as the first one, and immediately regret it, when he felt Makkari sitting straight up with a soft chuckle. Was she laughing at him? As well as leaving him to play games with this child? That was a betray. Heartbreaking one.

"Are you mad because your girlfriend left you to play with me?" Jack walked into the kitchen while Druig was making himself nice hot cup of tea. The kid stood up in front of him, looking up at the man. He didn't even bother to look at him. Not really a surprise.

"Not my girlfriend."
"Your crush then." Jack might have been just a kid, but he knew how two people in love look like, and he knew that that was between those two.

"Not that either" this time he finally turned to face the child. How merciful. With a hot cup of tea in his hand, he leaned against the counter, looking down at the small human.

"If not, why did you look like you were about to melt under her touch? Just like dad's ice cream when he falls asleep in front TV." Jack asked trying to grab an apple from the bowl on the kitchen table.

He didn't even manage to get close to it, when Druig just casually snatched it from the bowl and took a bite. Child only looked at him dissapointed and kinda angry. Got to admit, that wasn't very aldut behaviour for a grown up man, yet the denial doesn't have an age, does it?

"That was rude."

"Life won't treat you better, kid."

The three of them were back at The Domo.

Thena went to rest, allowing her mind to rest after everything that happened. She was tired, exhausted even. And with Mad Wy'Ry still haunting her, she just wanted to stay back.

Makkari was going through her books that she had pilled up basically everywhere, not quite sure what she like looking for, maybe just a way to stop thinking for a moment?

She could feel that someone was coming through the hallway. She tried to hide the smile even from herself. It was obvious who it was. Is that him that she was trying to stop thinking about?

"My brilliant, brilliant Makkari, are you reading this book that you're holding upside down?" he was right behind her, gently touching her elbow, smelling her hair, smiling as well. Of course, why wouldn't he? He just caught his little smart ass being distracted from books that she loved so much.

Makkari could only laugh at herself. She wasn't embarrassed, there was nothing to be about. Yet she still blushed. It only made her look more beautiful.

"Why were you creeping on me?" She turned enough to face him, but not to get out of man's touch. Now they were looking deep into each others eyes in complete silence.

"You knew I was here all along, admiring you, my beautiful, beautiful Makkari." It felt like she was being hypnotised by his voice. Couldn't do anything else other than just gazing into his eyes. Being the main character.
