Confrontations
A scout by the named of Walter walked around.
“You know Jess...”
“What is it Walter ?”
“Didn’t you find it weird that despite being many scouts, Steve always got the attention.”
“Well he was Steve.”
“Yeah, But Steve is dead now, may he Rest In Peace.”
“And so ?”
“So it’s time for a new scout to always get the attention ! I think...yes. This is Walter’s age.”
“You do realize you are fighting for the Confederation right ?”
“Hey, I needed a way to pay the rent.”
“But Odalia hasn’t payed us yet.”
“...no she hasn’t. Is this all we are meant to be, just common enemies waiting to be beaten up..”
“Walter.”
“I mean, there are many fascinating people here. But it seems it’s always centered around that Lumity pair, but what about us, what about,,,”
“Walter...”
“No you know what. Steve made his name known, so I will as well. It’s time for the world to know Walter !”
“Walter...”
“What Jess !”
“Look up.”
Walter did so and...
“Oh fuck.”
Suddenly. Eber jumped in top of Water and started attacking him !
Jess didn’t last long enough as well, as Darius landed beside Eber and slammed the guard into the ground.
Ships came behind him and started shooting at the Confederation.
The enemy saw this and started to attack.
“Attack !” Darius yelled. “Today we defeat the Confederation and return to peace !”
Both groups rushed towards each other as they clashed.
Meanwhile, Eda and Lilith smashed a window, allowing them and the hex squad enter.
“Alright, we are in.” Lilith mumbled.
“So what’s the plan ?” Willow asked.
“We need to split up and find all who we can. Kids, you go left, we will go right.”
Luz nodded. “Be careful Eda.”
“Same to you kiddo. Now get my grandkid back !”
The Hexsquad nodded and left to the left.
“Come on Lilly, let’s find everyone.”
Eda and Lilith flew with some scouts to find any prisoners.
“Edalyn, over here !”
Eda turned to the familiar voice.
“That’s Alador, which means there must be some cells over there.L
Eda slammed the door opened, and sure enough, some people were being trapped.
“Well if it’s my favorite abomagenius.” Eda said, breaking the door from Alador’s cell.
“Are Amity And Emira ok ?”
“Yes they made it back safely. They are here though, specially since your son and granddaughter got taken.”
“I know. Listen, do you have a way to contact everyone ?”
“Yes. Why ?”
“Because Odalia stold something from the factory. Something that is extremely dangerous, and hard to control. Something I should never have built...”
“Hello, is anyone here ?” Gus yelled.
“We are over here !”
“That’s Skara !” Willow said. “She must be over here !”
Amity punched a door open, and they found cells with their classmates and fellow citizens.
“Skara, is everyone Allright ?”
“We are mostly fine, though it has been annoying to hear Boscha all this time.” She grumbled.
“Boscha is here.” Willow said darkly.
“She’s come to brag multiple times, about how we should have followed her and all that shit. When you see her, do me a favor and beat the crap of her !”
“Sure do,” Willow said.
“Amity over here !”
Amity rushes towards her wife, to see what she found.
“Vee !”
The basilisk was laying in the floor. Badly beaten.
No sign of Azura.
“Vee...what happened ?”
“Bo...Boscha. She came to...hurt Azura...I did not let her....but she still took her..”
“Boscha has Azura !”
“No....Odalia has her...and she’s waiting for you.”
Luz and Amity looked at each other.
“I need someone to help Vee get out of here ?”
“Luz...” Vee called. “Is...is it true...is Camila dead ?”
“She....she’s gone. I’m so sorry Vee.”
It was heartbreaking how the basilisks’ face turned at hearing that.
“Vee, I know...I know how much it hurts that she’s gone. But you need to focus right now. Get to the healers and get patched up. She wouldn’t want you hurt.”
“I got her.” Edric said, coming to help Vee. “Azura is unhurt. Odalia interfiere Before Boscha could get her hands on her. But you need to hurry.”
“Thanks Ed.” Amity said. “Now go. Em is outside.”
Luz and Amity watched as their siblings joined the others in their escape.
“So now we need to..”
“LUZ LOOK OUT !” Hunter yelled.
Suddenly Luz was tackled into a cell.
“I have been waiting for this moment human !” Boscha growled. Making a fire spell straight at Luz.
“Yeah, well that makes both of us !” Luz said, using a ice glyph too counter the fire.
Smoke filled the area, making it easier for Luz to punch Boscha and push her back.
“You took The love of my life !” Boscha shouted, attempting to strike Luz. “But now I’ll get her back !”
Before Boscha could grab Luz, Amity striked her from behind.
“Hands of my wife you creep.”
“Amity please !” Boscha cried. “I love you ! Leave with me. We can live together, be happy together ! Have our own life ! I’ll make you much happier than the human. What do you...”
Amity responded by punching her threw the wall.
“I’ll have to wash my ears after that.”
“I hear something.” Hunter mumbled. “More scouts.”
“Luz, Amity. Leave Boscha to us.” Willow said. “Get to Azura !”
“You sure Willow ?”
“Positive. Besides, this is something that has been bound to happen.”
There was no doubt about that. Despite the pain Boscha’s actions brought to them...Willow had been hurt by her for so long.
And no matter how tempting getting revenge for Camila would be, Azura is their priority. That’s what Camila would want.
“Be very careful.”
“You too.”
Luz and Amity rushes towards the exit, looking for Odalia and Azura.
In just that moment, the wall of the cells was blasted.
“Well if it’s the Golden Guard.” Kikimora growled. “I’ve been waiting for the moment I could tear you apart, piece by piece.”
“Kiki....heh. Of all the people here. I wanted to fight you the most.”
Boscha groaned from her spot.
“Hunter, Gus. You two deal with Kiki. I got Boscha.”
“Got it...be careful, Captain.”
“Always. You too.”
As the two friends leaped to fight Kiki. Boscha stood up.
“Where...where’s Amity I need to get her back !”
“She’s gone. She and Luz know finding their daughter is way more important than dealing with an obsessive witch, that can’t take the fact Amity wants nothing to do with her.”
“Shut up, half a witch,” Boscha growled. “Don’t you forget your place !”
“Those words mean nothing to me now Boscha.” Willow growled. “I know who I am. I know I am strong. You think you are better than me, Well proof it !”
“So you didn’t learn anything from Hexside, time for another beating then !”
“I’d like to see you try !”
Willow and Boscha both summoned their magic, and charged towards the other.
Eda And Lilth flew around.
From what they heard. Most prisoners had escaped. The ones missing are Azura, which they heard Odalia has her, and her mothers are on their way.
And Raine.
Eda hasn’t found her spouse yet. And she’s sick with worry.
“It makes sense for her to be kept alone.” Lilith said. “She’s The Head of the Council.”
"I know. But you heard what Alador said. They kept them alone for....interogation porpuses."
"I doubt they would kill them."
Eda and Lilith flew threw a hall, and came to a....
"Is this....a battle room ?"
"It just looks like the ones we used to train the scouts under Belos."
"Why yes, we do need a place to train the new scouts, once they come."
The Clawthornes sisters turned to the familiar voice.
"Terra !" Eda growled.
"Well if it isn't my favorite pair of sisters. How delightful to see you both."
"I had enough of yor games Terra. Where is..."
"Raine ? Don't worry, they are right here."
A flower appeared just behind Terra, opening up to reveal a badly beaten Raine.
"RAINE !" Eda yelled. "YOU BASTARD, WHAT HAVE YOU DONE TO THEM !"
"I just needed them to agree to our demands. But you know this sprout, they love to not do as they are told ! But enough about that ! Remember back at the day when I made a game Edalyn ? How about we make another ? Let's call it, save the spouse ! And in order to save the spouse, you must defeat me. Spoilers though !"
"EDA, LOOK OUT !"
Eda and Lilith jumped away just in time, as a vine tried to get them.
Terra smirked. "You are gonna loose."
"My lady." A scout called. "We have engaged the outer forces, but they have us outnumbered."
"Dam Adrian for taking many of my men with me." Odalia mumbled. "No matter. We will just release it. Open the hatch and let....titan I forgot the name of it.....just let it out !"
"As you wish my lady !"
"That thing should keep the human from using her titan powers against me. Which means Mittens will be all alone !"
She turned to her side, were a tied up Azura was sitting.
"Did you hear that Azura ? Mommy is on her way here, and once she comes, she will pay for her betrayal."
It had become clear the Confederation managed to pull out their attacks because of the suprise elements.
Because in a fully fledge battle, they were vastly outnumbered,
Vitrimir tried his best, throwing potion bombs at the enemy, but his former fellow coven heads easily managed to trap him.
"Honestly Vir." Darius said. "I expected something like this from Terra and Adrian, but you ? I would have thought you knew better than this."
The man just spatted at him.
"Not in the mood to talk ? That is ok. We can talk when you are in prison."
But then....a loud thump was heard.
Everyone stopped fighting, as the ground started to vibrate.
"What is that ?" Edric asked.
"No idea." Emira mumbled, in the spot she was healing Vee.
"No...she released it." Alador whispered.
Darius turned to him. "What...what is that ?"
"When the Emperor wanted the abomatons, Odalia wanted to impress him more, so....she made me create something I should never have."
And then, it finally appeared.
An extremely giant abomaton, that was taller than the mountains in the isles, walked slowly towards them.
"Dad..." Emira said. "What...what the hell is that thing ?"
"The supreme abomaton...or how I decided to gall it. Giganto."
Luz and Amity were running threw the stairs, when they also saw it.
"WHAT THE HELL IS THAT THING !" Luz yelled.
"Giganto." Amity mumbled. "A lost proyect from my Dad. Odalia must have found it."
"So...she has had all this time !"
"Yes, but the thing about Giganto, is that it looses control quickly. Dad could never figure out what the issue was, and scrapped it. Odalia must know this."
Luz looked at that.
"The Collector has yet to arrive....which means I have to take care of it."
"Luz !"
"Amity, my titan powers can match that thing. It is the only way to finish it !"
Amity looked at her wife. She hated it.....but she is right.
"Be careful. Ok ?"
"I will....but...this means you will have to safe Azura...and confront Odalia, on your own. Are you sure..."
"Luz...I think this has been a long time coming. Don't worry, I will get Azura back. You...you go smash that thing into goo."
Luz nodded, and gave her a kiss. "King ?"
King came out of Luz' pack.
"What...oh, we are gonna fight that thing ?"
"Yep. You know what to do."
Blue flames engulfed both of them, as Luz transformed into her titan form.
"Good luck Hermosa." She said, jumping with King to fight Giganto.
Amity could not help but stare....again.
"Dam it, focus Blight. You got one thing to do."
Amity reached the top floor of the building, and opened the giant gate.
It was...it was like a throne room. Like Belos' throne room.
And siting on the throne...was her.
"Hello Mittens."
"Odalia."
"Now now honey. Is that the way to talk to your mother ?"
"You are NOT my mother, not after everything you've done."
"Well what an ungrateful witch. Then again, I did not expect any less."
Amity summoned her staff. "Where is my daughter !"
"Azura, well she is right here !"
Odalia pointed to where she had Azura all tied up.
"MOMMY, HELP !"
"Azura ! Don't worry sweetie. I'll get you out."
"Oh isn't this Wonderfull ?" Odalia said. "What a family reunion we are having. I did not expect this after my family abandoned me and left me to rot, while all of you went on with your pretty little life."
Odalia then threw a sleeping spell at Azura. Making her fall asleep. "Good, can't have the child interrupting."
"You abandoned us first, the moment you decided to help that madman with his mass genocide."
"Like I said, it was all business."
Odalia stood up from her throne, and walked towards Amity.
"So what is the plan then, you become the leader of the Isles, and rule it to your liking."
"Yes, pretty much."
"I knew you were always power hungry...but even this is too much"
"No, you know what is too much ? Having worked for years, from the moment I got in hexide, to become powerful. To be the best of the best. I worked so hard, fought so hard, and then, when my moment is finally coming, it all got ruined by my youngest brat of a daughter ! Because she could not do what she was told, because she could not be what her mother meant for her to be ! I gave you everything Amity Blight, and you repayed me by taking EVERYTHING from me !"
"You gave me nothing !" Amity yelled back. "Nothing but fear, and scars, scars that I still can't get healed. You gave that to Dad, to Edric, to Emira, and to all you came in contact with ! I took nothing, you yourself lost it, because you are a selfish, obsessive, power hungry witch, that could never care for anyone other than their own !"
"You insolent child. I should never have allowed more chances with you. I should have kicked you out, the moment I saw your infuriation with the human was gonna be a problem. Or maybe...I should have just not had you at all. I certainly didn't want to, but Alador convinced me."
"Was...was that why you were harsher on me than on the twins ? You...you never even wanted me on the first place !"
"I tried to make use of you, but you failed. You are my biggest failure Amity, and all failures. MUST BE DESTROYED !"
Odalia tapped into her necklace, and purple flames engulfed her.
Suddenly, a giant purple flamed monster was in front of Amity.
And at that, Amity just chuckled.
"YOU DARE TO LAUGH ?" Odalia yelled outraged.
"You know...I actually wanted to hear that. About being your biggest failure. Because...because that means, we are nothing alike. All of my fears, the reason I have been afraid to parent, was because I secretly feared that I would be like you. But now...now I know better. Thank you Odalia, thank you so much."
"You little brat !"
Amity then started summoning abomination good from her multiple packs, all of which was covering her body.
"What....what is this !"
"When I heard Luz wanted to transform to protect our family...I knew I could not let her do it on her own. So I asked Darius to teach me this trick."
"No...impossible !"
In front of Odalia, now stood a equally big abomination monster, that had Amity's face.
"The time has come Odalia. I will not allow my family, or anyone else, to pay for your selfish desires, THIS ENDS NOW !"
