Marylene
In the holidays before third year, Marlene found an old Queen shirt in a thrift store. It was a men's shirt and she was thirteen, so it was too big for her to wear in public without it looking like a dress, but she loved it more than anything else in her wardrobe. She particularly loved it because when she brought it home, her brothers friend said she couldn't wear it because it was made for men. She twisted his arm behind his back until he apologised.
She wore it to bed every night, and when she brought it to Hogwarts, she showed all her friends proudly. She wore it during the girls nights in the dorm, and the small parties that the marauders held in their room. Even though she never made her bed, Marlene made sure to fold it up neatly at the foot of it every morning. During the Christmas break of fourth year, her dog got hold of it, and ripped the shoulder. She was devastated, and tried to repair it, but she was terrible at embroidery and repairing charms, and she got frustrated and accidentally ripped it more. Despite that, she still brought it back to school, but didn't wear it anymore.
Mary noticed on the first night back that Marlene wasn't wearing her favourite shirt. She asked her why, but Marlene brushed her off, saying she just grew out of it, but Mary could tell she was lying. The next morning, while Marlene was still asleep, Mary was heading down to breakfast, and accidentally knocked Marlene's trunk open, and saw the ripped shirt at the top of her things, still folded like it always was. Mary grabbed it, and brought it back to her bed. She headed straight to the library, missing breakfast, and started searching for mending spells.
Marlene headed down to breakfast, and didn't see Mary anywhere. She was late to first period, but wouldn't tell Marlene where she'd been. That night, Marlene went up to their dorm and found her shirt folded at the foot of her bed, the tear completely vanished.
