Wanda x reader x Yelena

You knew what you were getting into when you, Wanda and Yelena first started dating.

The two had sat you down and explained that this wouldn't be easy, that they weren't normal.

But you promised that you could handle it.

You knew from the very beginning that Yelena was an ex-assassin and that Wanda was an Avenger with magic powers.

You knew what you were getting into with them.

You knew you'd probably be in danger, that the two had their issues and that this was going to be much more different than any of your previous relationships, but that was okay.

Because you were willing to go through hell and back to keep your girls, and you knew that they would do the same for you.

But sometimes, all you wanted from the two was normalcy

Even just a moment to pretend that the three of you could be normal was all you wanted.

Living in the Tower with the Avengers was different to what you would have expected had you not known the team beforehand.

Everyone who had asked you about what it was like living in the Tower had their own theories about what it would be like living there.

And they were all wrong.

"I bet everyone's super serious!" You'd watched Clint fall out of vents and seen Tony and Bruce without eyebrows more times than you could count.

"Everyone's really professional, right?" Natasha once gave Steve the silent treatment all day because he let Bucky eat her yogurt.

"They probably don't like the fact that you're a civilian, huh?" No, in fact, that's probably why the team trusted you with Wanda and Yelena so much.

You were a civilian. Not an agent of any kind looking to hurt the two, or worse, kill them.

And it meant the world to you, Yelena and Wanda, that the team, their family, liked you.

"And just where do you two think you're going at this time of the morning?" Tony asked as you and Wanda entered the team's shared living room.

"For a walk, Tony." You said as Wanda beelined for your missing jacket.

"Gross," Tony mumbled.

"Tony." Steve sighed, shaking his head at his partner.

"What?" He asked, looking at the blonde in confusion. "Alright, you two, have fun, come back without a scratch, or Charly Baltimore will kill us all." He told the two of you.

"Charming, Tony." Wanda rolled her eyes, helping you into your jacket. "We'll be back."

"Try not to burn the building down." You called as the two of you walked away. "C'mon, Wanda! To the markets!" You cheered, pulling the woman out of the building and onto the street.

"To the markets!" Wanda laughed, easily following you.

The two of you began your walk towards the markets, taking side streets and alleys to avoid anyone who might recognise Wanda.

"Lena's going to be mad if the lady with the goats is there today." You said as you and Wanda entered another alleyway.

"We'll have to take plenty of photos for her." Wanda hummed. "Have you ever thought about getting one?"

"A goat? No. They're too messy for my place or even the Tower." You told the woman.

"Hm, true," Wanda said before stopping in her tracks.

"Wand?" You asked, turning to face your partner who's face had hardened.

"Stay behind me," Wanda said, her hands beginning to glow red.

"Ah, father's greatest failure." A woman announced as you and Wanda suddenly surrounded.

"Strucker," Wanda growled, glaring at the woman.

"I prefer Andrea." She, Andrea, smirked.

"And where's your brother?" Wanda asked, cocking her head to the side. "Oh, that's right, he's dead," Wanda smirked.

"And so's yours," Andrea growled before taking a deep breath. "I'm here to finish what my father started. You're coming with me."

"Like hell I am." Wanda snapped as Andrea's soldiers cocked their weapons.

"Wanda." You whispered, clutching onto the back of her jacket.

"You're coming with me, Maximoff. Or I'm going to kill your little girlfriend, just like you killed my brother." Andrea told Wanda.

"I don't think so," Wanda said before shooting her hands out and sending out a flash of red energy.

Andrea's soldiers were easily knocked to the ground by Wanda's magic, their weapons thrown away, and unconscious.

But Andrea was still standing.

Without her brother alive, Andrea was powerless, but she was still stronger than her foot soldiers.

In the next few seconds, several things happened.

Andrea pulled out a gun and shot it twice.

Wanda had the two of you shielded by a dome of red energy and had Andrea pinned to the wall with the same energy.

The bullets hit Wanda's shields and fell to the ground, transforming into two daisies.

"Are you alright?" Wanda demanded, turning to you and gently grabbing onto your arms. "Were you hit?" She asked despite knowing you hadn't been.

"I'm fine, Wanda." You promised, reaching out a hand to touch her cheek. "This is the third time this year we've been attacked here, Wanda." You sighed, looking around at the mess around you.

"Please don't leave us," Wanda begged you.

"What?"

"I know that you're always in danger because of me and Yelena, but please don't leave us." She pleaded with you.

"Wanda, I'm not going to leave you. I was just going to suggest we move." You said before she could continue.

"Move?"

"Yes. Move away from the Tower, away from New York, and into a place of our own. Hell, let's go to Ohio. I know Lena's always wanted to go back there, and it's far enough away from here that HYDRA shouldn't be able to find you." You told her.

"You want a house with us?" Wanda questioned you.

"I want a home with you, with both of you, yes." You promised with a smile. "I know being an Avenger means a lot to you, but we can figure a way out to make this work."

"You want a home with us!" Wanda cheered, pulling you into her arms and twirling you around.

"Wanda!"

"I don't care if we have to move halfway across the world to find our home. I want a home with you, with Yelena. I want this." She promised you. "I love you."

"I love you too." You grinned, leaning down to kiss the woman. "We can talk to Lena when she gets back, okay?"

"Yeah. Together."

After a year and a half of dating, the three of you had finally decided to move in together.

Of course, that decision was followed by six months of trying to find a home the three of you liked, but it was worth it.

The three of you had finally found a home and were living together.

"I can never find anything in here." Yelena groaned, digging through the cupboards.

"Do you want a hand looking for whatever you're looking for?" You asked, startling the blonde and causing her to hit her head.

"Blyad'!" Yelena swore, rubbing the back of her head as she turned to face you. "How long have you been standing there?" She asked you.

"Long enough to see you ruin the cupboards we just set up." You tasked, moving over to the woman. "How's your head?" You asked, resting a hand on her cheek.

"Hard," Yelena smirked, grabbing your hand and pressing a kiss to your palm. "Too hard for a simple cupboard to do me any damage." She promised you.

"Uh-huh. I'm sure your sister has stories that say otherwise." You smirked.

"Natasha is a liar. You shouldn't believe anything that comes out of her mouth." Yelena said before moving back to the cupboards. "Where are all our pans?"

"In the pan cupboard." You said, moving past the woman, opening one door and pulling out a frypan.

"So stupid. We should have one cupboard for everything." Yelena grumbled, taking the pan out of your hand and pressing a kiss to your cheek. "Thank you, med."

"Of course." You smiled, leaning against the counter. "What'cha making?"

"Syrniki," Yelena told you as she started moving around the kitchen. "Mama made it for us when we first moved into the Ohio house. I had a craving."

"Don't know what it is, but I'm sure if it's Melina's recipe, it's gonna be good." You smiled.

"They're fantastic! How have I never made these for you?" Yelena asked, staring at you in slight shock.

"Probably because we'd eat with everyone else at the Tower." You shrugged. "Or just wait for lunch."

"Hm. Fair." Yelena shrugged.

"Can I ask you a question?" You asked the woman after a second.

"Apart from the one you just did?"

"Yeah."

"Go for it." Yelena nodded.

"Okay. Why did I find a knife taped under the kitchen chair this morning?" You questioned your blonde haired partner.

"Ugh! I know! The tape looks awful. But I haven't had time to make these chairs little sleeves yet." Yelena told you.

"Okay, follow up question. Why are there knives under my chairs?" You asked.

"It's not just the chairs. There's one under the table too." She shrugged.

"Hon, I think you're missing the point here." You said, causing the woman to sigh.

"Look, I'm not crazy."

"I know."

"But I need this house to be safe. I need to know that we're going to be safe here." Yelena told you.

"This isn't the only room with weapons, is it?" You questioned her.

"Nowhere near close." She smirked slightly. "I know you don't really like the weapons, but it's the only way I'm going to be able to sleep at night."

"Okay." You nodded.

"What? That's it? You accept it, just like that?"

"Lena, this is your home too. And if a couple of weapons being hidden in every other room,"

"It's quite literally every room, Y/N." Yelena cut in.

"If that's what it takes to make you feel safe, then it's okay with me." You promised.

"Are you sure?"

"Of course. Just, maybe, don't use tape anymore." You suggested.

"Oh, don't worry. Come next week everything will be set up properly. You won't even notice them." She promised, quickly leaning over to kiss your cheek. "Now, do you want blueberry sauce or greek yogurt on your syrniki?"

"Ha-ha!" Yelena cackled. "Crazy bitch deserved that." She grinned, watching as Veronica beat up Cheryl.

"Hm, gonna agree with you on that." You smiled, running your fingers through her hair.

"Hm. I like when you do that." Yelena hummed, leaning into your touch. "Makes me feel all sleepy." She murmured.

"You're like a cat." You grinned. "Maybe we should think about getting a cat instead of a dog."

"And have them take your magic fingers? Never."

It had been six months since the three of you had moved into your new home.

The place had truly started to feel like home, but it did feel like something was missing.

A pet. Something neither Wanda or Yelena had ever had.

The three of you had spent the last month debating what type of pet you should have, but none of you could agree on one.

"You know any pet we get is going to get scritches from me, right?" You asked your girlfriend.

"What, even a fish? You're going to reach into the water and scratch the fish?" Yelena teased.

"You're so mean to me." You pouted before the sound of keys in the door echoed throughout the house.

"I'm home!" Wanda called as the front door closed behind her.

"Hiya, hon!"

"How was New York?" Yelena asked loudly.

"Same old, same old," Wanda responded. "Everyone says hi. Nat says to expect her on our couch soon."

"No, because if she does it, that gives mama and dad the means to, and Alexi will stink the couch up." Yelena groaned.

"You know you love them."

"I do, but I love this couch more."

"Hey, um, I got a chance to see Kitty before coming back," Wanda announced.

"The one who walks through walls or a stray?" You asked, seeking clarification.

"The one who walks through walls, sweetheart." Wanda chuckled. "And, uh, well, she gave us something."

"Like a plant?" Yelena asked before Wanda walked into the living room.

"Not exactly," Wanda said before Yelena jumped upright with an excited squeal.

"Look at the baby! Can I hold her?" Yelena asked before taking the little purple creature out of Wanda's arms anyway. "Hello, sweet thing. Ty takaya klevaya!" She cooed.

"Wanda, is that a dragon?" You asked, staring at the woman in confusion.

"It's a little baby!" Yelena corrected you.

"Technically, you're both right. She's a baby dragon." She smiled awkwardly. "We did say we wanted a pet."

"I thought we were thinking dog." You said.

"Are you mad? Because I promise, she won't be a problem." Wanda told you.

"Fanny. Her name is Fanny." Yelena announced.

"If you really don't like her, we don't have to keep her. But she's the last of Lockheed's litter, and I just felt like she was meant to be ours." Wanda said as you rose to a stand.

Without a word, you gently took the small dragon out of Yelena's hands, causing her to whine as the dragon purred.

"She is cute." You hummed, scratching behind her ears. "She won't burn our couch, will she?"

"No. She's very smart, I promise. As trainable as a dog." Wanda told you.

"Alright. We can keep Fanny." You told your partners.

"Yay!" Yelena cheered. "This is a fantastic decision. We're not going to regret this. I just know it. Oh, I need to get her a little vest!" Yelena said before rushing out of the room. "Where's my phone?"

"Where is she going to find a vest for a dragon?" Wanda asked you.

"I don't know." You sighed. "I really don't know."

"This place better have curly fries," Yelena said as Wanda parked the car.

"We already googled the menu, Lena. There were curly fries on there." You reminded the woman.

"Just because they said they have it doesn't mean they will."

"Explain your logic," Wanda asked, raising a brow.

"It's like the ice cream machine at McDonald's. They have it, but every time I want it, there is none." Yelena explained.

"Ooh, we should get ice cream for dessert." You hummed as the three of you got out of the car.

"There is none. There never is." Yelena declared sullenly.

"Alright, let's get some salt into you before you start singing something depressing," Wanda said, taking Yelena's hand and leading her into the restaurant.

"Table for three?" You asked the woman standing at the door.

"Preferable a booth." Yelena piped in.

"Of course. This way." The perky hostess chirped before showing you towards a booth in the back.

"Thank you." The three of you said before sitting in the rounded booth.

"Ooh, stuffed peppers." Wanda hummed, gazing over the menu.

"Chili cheese curly fries!" Yelena grinned, immediately finding what she wanted. "What do you want, Y/N?"

"I'm thinking the parmigiana." You murmured, taking your time to read through the menu. "This place is really cute." You said, looking around your surroundings. "Why don't we come here more often?"

"Social anxiety," Wanda responded instantly.

"We have to Fanny home." Yelena pouted. "Oh, I'm going to bring her something back to eat." She said before looking back down at the menu.

"It's also very hard for Lena and I to keep a low profile." Wanda reminded you.

"Ha! Speak for yourself. Keeping a low profile was half my life." Yelena said.

"We've done well so far. It's almost been a year since we came here, and anyone who has recognised you two has kept silent." You shrugged.

"I say that's because Wanda bribes them with cookies." Yelena piped up. "She's turned into a real housewife since coming here."

"I like baking, sue me. It's not as if you don't reap the rewards." Wanda rolled her eyes.

"Excuse me." A man interrupted your conversation. He was standing by the side of your table in a white shirt and black pants and holding a notepad. "Can I take your order?"

Before you had a chance to speak, Wanda was pulling you down as Yelena pulled a gun out of a pocket (which pocket you weren't sure of) and held it at the server who already had his own out.

Someone in the restaurant screamed, and without having to look, and not being able to with Wanda shielding you, you knew this man was not alone.

"Stay down." Wanda urged you before gunfire echoed in your ears loudly.

Wanda had jumped to her feet and was backing Yelena up when a gun slid across the floor and within your reach.

You did not hesitate to pick up the gun and then jump to your feet.

"Why? Do? You? Keep? Ruining? Date night?" You demanded, shooting at three men and sending them to the ground.

There was suddenly silence in the restaurant as you stood beside your partners, breathing heavily.

"Fucking hell." Yelena panted before pulling you into a passionate kiss. "That was really hot." She said when she pulled away.

"I thought I told you to stay down." Wanda scolded you before also kissing you senseless.

"I'm not going to let you two fight on your own. Not when I'm here." You announced.

"Okay, after we deal with the police, we're getting ice cream and going home." Yelena told you. "This is a romantic night, and I need to make sure no one else is going to shoot at us."

"Y/N, are you alright with this? I know you wanted to have a normal date night." Wanda asked you.

"Fuck normal." You told the two. "I don't need it. Not when I've got you two at my side."

And you didn't. Yes, a part of you longed for something normal, for something to hold onto. But you didn't realise before was that Yelena and Wanda were your normal.

And that was all you needed.
