Chapter 13
I don't know how long I'd been out but I knew it had to be a decent amount of time because bits and pieces of conversations floated through my head as I lay on the soft, cool bed in Loki's room. I knew it was Loki's room simply by the smell of it and as I finally came to I smiled and kept my eyes closed. Finally, after several minutes I decided to open my eyes and take in my surroundings and what I saw had tears prickling the backs of my eyes once again.
There, in Loki's room, was not only the Avengers but Loki, Sif, Odin and Frigga as well. Most of the Avengers were asleep on the floor and as my eyes moved around the room I smiled wider at the sights. Bucky, Sam and Steve were curled up cuddling one another in the corner, Wanda, Nat, Clint, Peter and Pietro were all in a puppy pile in the middle of the floor, Tony was asleep standing up with is arm around Bruce who was slumped against him, and Thor, Odin and Loki were all dozing in the corner near the door.
Frigga and Sif were the only two who were awake and as soon as my eyes landed on them they both turned and I put my finger to my lips frantically shushing them because I didn't want anymore screaming especially with how badly my head hurt. They both ran quietly over to the bed and climbed in and hugged me tightly. "How are you feeling, my dear?" Frigga whispered as she looked me up and down. Sif looked as though she'd about chewed her bottom lip off but that didn't stop her from continuing to chew on it as I smiled softly and answered, "Well, my head hurts quite a bit but other than that I feel alright. I could do with using the bathroom though. I think my bladder may explode if I don't."
Sif and Frigga covered their mouths in order to stifle their giggles and I got up out of bed slowly and made my way to the bathroom and sighed in relief as I emptied my bladder. It occurred to me then that I'd obviously been cleaned because as I looked down, I realized that I was once again wearing one of Loki's green tunics and I smiled as I flushed the toilet and walked out of the bathroom only to be greeted by more screams from Nat and Wanda who both sprinted towards me at a dead run. Tony, Bruce, Thor, Bucky, Steve, Clint, Loki and Odin all jumped up looking ready to kill someone only to realize that it was me the two women were screaming over as Pietro, Peter, Bruce, and Sam all clutched at their chests trying to calm down from being scared awake.
Frigga and Sif were on the bed laughing themselves to tears at the looks on Pietro, Peter, Bruce and Sam's faces. "OH MY GOD YOU'RE OK!" The two women sobbed as they slammed into me, sobbing and wrapped their arms around me. "Yes, I am perfectly fine now would you two be dears for me AND STOP YOUR BLOODY SCREAMING!" I screamed at them causing them to both clap their hands over their ears. "Yes, that! That's exactly what it feels like when you two scream directly in my ear holes!" I growled at them and turned to find myself face to face with a pair of aquamarine eyes that were filled with nothing but worry and love.
"Loki." I whispered as I wrapped my arms around him and he pulled me tightly to him. A few silent moments went by before a very uncomfortable Steve said, "I'm...uh...gonna go get breakfast since she's going to be ok. Anyone wanna join?" With my face in Loki's chest I snorted and started laughing as he and the rest of the Avengers made a very fast beeline for the door along with Odin, Frigga and Sif. "Awww what's the matter, Stevie poo? You don't wanna watch us fondue? Don't wanna learn anything new?"
Sam, Tony, and Bucky all immediately broke out in hysterical giggles as Steve said, "Fuck that and y'all. CAP OUT!" The rest of the team were chuckling as they walked out and Sif looked back over her shoulder and said, "Try not to break her, Loki. She's still fragile and I'd hate to have to hurt you over her and postpone the wedding another month." I reached back behind me and grabbed a small pillow and threw it at her just as she was walking out the door and she ducked and caught it and threw it back on the bed with a sly, "Have fun!" and closed the door behind her leaving us alone at last.
As soon as the footsteps faded down the hall, Loki instantly attached his lips to my neck causing me to moan breathlessly. "Oh, my queen. You have no idea how worried I've been." He whispered softly against the skin of my neck the warmth of his breath causing a knot to form low in between my legs and I tangled my hand in his hair and pulled to keep from getting loud. "Patience, dove. I need to call the Healers to have them look you over to make sure you're alright before we have any sort of fun." He whispered as he softly kissed from my neck to my lips. I whined and went to protest but he placed a cool, slender finger against my lips and said, "Dove, the sooner we get this over and done with the sooner we may play." Knowing that he was right I pouted but nodded and he smiled and snapped his fingers and two Healers appeared.
"Oh, my lady! You're finally awake!" A young red haired Healer said and she hurried over to me causing me to smile. "You've had all of Asgard quite worried, young lady." The other older brunette healer woman said and I blushed. "I'm sorry to have worried everyone." I said softly as the older woman approached and the younger began laying out all of her supplies on the bedside table. She chuckled and said, "It's quite fine, deary. It seems that everyone in this realm has come to love you in some way. It's quite endearing actually. Although I thought that Thor, Lady Sif, Loki and the Warriors Three and your Avengers were going to pace ruts in the banquet hall floor by dawn the second day."
I laid back and let her look me over and after about fifteen minutes she looked over at Loki and smiled and said, "She's perfectly fine. Her wounds have completely healed and quite nicely I might add too." I chewed my bottom lip as they both packed up their supplies and left. Again, he waited until the footsteps had completely faded before he slowly stalked crawled on top of me on the bed nuzzling his face into my neck and whispered, "How would you feel about becoming pregnant with my child, dove?"
