Deku God Of Magic

Prologue

It happened all too fast for him. After seeing the statue of He Who Remains, Loki realized that he was not in the TVA that he had grown to despise. No, he was in a version of it that was even more screwed than before; a TVA that would do as he commands. For just a moment, he felt sheer terror. That is, until a pair of hands grabbed his arms, snapping him back to reality. He tried to protest, but he just couldn’t.

When Loki had finally found his voice, he found himself in front of the elevator doors that had taken him and Sylvie up to the “Timekeepers.” As soon as the doors opened, Loki and the two guards entered. After the doors closed, the elevator instantly started going up. The elevator stopped soon after and opened to a nicely decorated room with many of what seemed to be villain and hero relics, such as the shield of Captain America. Near the back of the room, was He Who Remains in his desk, looking out at the vast buildings floating in what seemed to be the same building replicated in all directions.

He merely looked at the small group with annoyance, as if he thought of himself as a higher being than all of them. And in all honesty, he very much was.
“I assume this is the intruder that has entered the TVA?” Asked He Who Remains.

“Yes sir, this is the intruder, aka Loki Laufeyson.” Mobius answered,” He actually came up to B-15 and I, as if he knew us, and told us about freeing the timeline from some tyrant. He then started Muttering about some man beyond a storm.”

When He Who Remains heard this he froze, as if the bastard knew who Loki was talking about.

“What did you say?” He Who Remains asked in a deathly tone. Many of the guards stepped back, with only Mobius, B-15 and Loki gulping.

When He Who Remains had finally processed what was said, he started to walk again towards his desk, to which he had picked something up. When he had turned around with the object, it confused almost everyone but Loki on what he had brought out

“Sir, may I ask what exactly that is?” Asked Mobius.

“You shall not, this is merely meant to see the reaction of the intruder…no, the variant” He Who Remains answered with a wicked enjoyment,” What is a Loki variant doing in the TVA?”

Assuming he wanted an answer rather quickly.

“None of your Damned business!” Loki spoke with such anger, suddenly growing a pair at his rather bold answer.

“You sure are an angry one, aren’t you?” He Who Remains asked rhetorically,” Everyone out, I would like to speak to this variant privately.”

Hearing this, B-15 quickly pushed Loki forwards, and into a seat. Everyone else, save He Who Remains, walked back to the elevator, leaving two people left in the room. It was quiet for what seemed to be hours as Loki just glared at He Who Remains. Just as Loki was about to ask what he wanted to speak to him about, He Who Remains spoke.

“Where is he?” He Who Remains asked intensely.

“Where who is?” Loki asked nervously.

“Do not play these games with me! Tell me where my variant self is!” He Who Remains roared, now gripping the arms of Loki’s chair.

The fear and malice that Loki had before was now full-on terror. To think He Who Remains could ever be violent. No, that’s not what really terrified him, it was the fact that He Who Remains had been telling the truth and that it was entirely possible for a second war to break out between the variants of He Who Remains.

“Your variant is dead, killed by a variant of myself.” Loki answered with vigor and fear.

The surprise on He Who Remains’ face was instant, with a malevolent

When Loki had finally looked back at He Who Remains, he could see that his surprise was replaced with satisfaction.

“So that is why the timeline has been splintered, my variant finally died.” He Who Remains stated with enjoyment,” I do have to thank your variant, it has furthered my plans quite a bit.”

When He Who Remains finished, he placed down the blue infinity stone, picked up Loki’s scepter, which for some reason no longer had the blue gem in it. As soon as he faced Loki again, he began to speak once again.

“This scepter is what started your journey to try and take over Earth,” He Who Remains stated walking closer to Loki,” It seems it will also be the blade that will end your life.”

As soon as he finished speaking, he drew his arm back and went to stab Loki in the heart. But it never reached, as a faint glow had surrounded the tip and edge of the blade, stopping it a mere inch from his chest. The spear, then was flung out of his hands.

“I would not, should not interfere, but I will for the future of the multiverse.” Declared a mysterious voice.

As if he had been there the entire time, a tall, big headed, bald man walked out. His eyes glowed with what seemed to be wisdom and power within them. When Loki turned back to He Who Remains, he could see the ferocity of a thousand suns burning behind his eyes.

“It has been a great while, Kang” The mysterious figure spoke.

“Uatu.”
