“I refuse to believe this. It must be a fluke… it has to be.” Jude mumbles under her breath, gripping her controller with white knuckles.
“You ok there doll?” Bucky asks glancing at her hands.
“How!? How did you beat me? You’ve never played a video game before, you said so yourself! HOW!?” Jude exclaims throwing her controller onto the couch and clutching at her hair instead. She glares at him when his only response is to shrug his broad shoulders and smirk. “We are playing again. And this time I’m gunna kick your ass, old man!”
Bucky lets out a sigh and picks up his controller. “It’s just a game sweetheart.”
“No, it’s not, it’s Mario Kart, and you're supposed to be bad at it.” She grumbles as she selects Rainbow Road. “Alright get ready old timer. Here we go!”

The final count that night was Bucky with 13 wins and Jude with 1. Both parties knowing that Jude’s win was one of pity and both agreeing to not say a word about it. The next night Jude decided to try her luck with Mario Party instead. (It did not end well for her)
