Natasha x reader x Wanda
It had been almost five years since you, Natasha and her sister, Yelena, had founded the ship The Avenger.
The three of you had been so young when you had run from your old crew, The Black Widows.
The Black Widows had been run by Captain Dreykov, who kidnapped girls and turned them into his crew of mercenaries.
The three of you had been his best, but it was only because none of you had known any differently.
But when the three of you had finally found your way out of Dreykov's web, you had made sure he could never spin another.
And from then on, the three of you were free. Free from Dreykov, his orders, and free to make your own choices.
And the first choice you made had been a ship. A ship that the three of you loved and on which you found a home.
A home that was soon joined by many others. A crew, a crew that became your family.
"Why is your sister screeching at this hour of the morning?" You grumbled, lightly hitting Natasha's shoulder.
"How the fuck should I know?" Natasha mumbled, shifting her face onto your chest.
"She's your sister."
"Not at this hour she's not." Natasha snorted, burrowing further into your chest.
"Are you comfortable there?" You asked, opening your eyes to look down at the redhead.
"Extremely," Natasha smirked. "I've always said that these are the best pillows on the ship." She said, gently cupping your breast.
"Charming. You're lucky no one tries to take them away from you." You teased, causing Natasha to growl.
"No one would dare." Natasha snarled, now straddling your waist. "These are mine. You are mine."
"As long as you are mine as well." You said, reaching a hand up to her cheek.
"Always," Natasha promised before leaning down and capturing your lips with hers.
Everything about Natasha was passionate. Her mind, her ideals and especially the way she loved.
Her kisses were all teeth and tongue and always left you breathlessly wanting more.
"Oh, for Christ sake, you two. I don't want to see that." Yelena exclaimed, gagging at you and her sister in disgust.
"Then get out." Natasha rolled her eyes as she rolled off you.
"We've talked about knocking before, right, Lena?" You asked, pulling the sheet over your body.
"I remember something like that." Yelena shrugged. "But never mind that. I have news."
"Oh, you have a reason for interrupting my time with my wife, good." Natasha snarked.
"Clint spotted a HYDRA ship," Yelena announced, ignoring her sister's sarcasm.
"What?"
"How close?"
You and Natasha questioned the blonde, sitting upright simultaneously.
"We'll be on top of them by the end of the hour," Yelena told the two of you.
"Prepare the crew for an attack," Natasha demanded, jumping from the bed without a care for her nudity.
"Ugh! Gross!" Yelena groaned, covering her eyes.
"Yelena!"
"Okay. Okay. I'm going." The blonde said, exiting the room with her eyes still covered.
"What's your plan?" You asked, jumping up to dress as well.
"Get on board their ship, attack the fuckers, and steal whatever they probably stole," Natasha told you, already half-dressed.
"Eloquent, darling." You said, grabbing the nearest garment. "Very eloquent."
"You don't like it?"
"Oh no. I like it. You know how much I enjoy attacking those HYDRA dicks."
"Trust me, I know," Natasha smirked. "I proposed to you after one attack."
"A glorious day." You grinned. "I wonder if anything will happen after this one."
"Rumlow. We meet again." Natasha smirked as Steve and Clint shoved the man to his knees before the two of you.
"Fuck you, you redheaded whore." Rumlow snarled before his mouth was met with your fist, knocking out one of his teeth.
"Don't about my wife like that." You growled as Natasha chuckled.
"My wife's got a good hook on her, don't you think, Rumlow?" Natasha asked, moving her hand to your lower back. "Feel lucky that she didn't go straight for her sword."
"You know these waters are ours, Rumlow? What are you doing on them?" You demanded, pointing your blade underneath his chin.
"I won't talk." Rumlow gulped.
"I love it when they say that." You smiled at your wife.
"Should we throw him overboard?" Clint asked.
"No. Not today." Natasha said, causing Clint to pout. "Put him in the brig."
"Let Bucky have a couple of rounds with him if he wants to, Steve." You added.
"I think we all know what his answer is going to be, Y/N." Steve chuckled before he and Clint dragged the man onto your ship.
"Captains," Thor called, causing you and Natasha to turn and see the large blonde emerging from the hold.
"Thor?"
"We found something." He announced, urging the two of you to follow him.
"More stolen goods from Wakanda?" Natasha asked with a sigh.
"I wish," Thor said before you heard Yelena speaking.
"You're okay. I promise. We can help you." Yelena said in a tone she usually reserved for family.
Entering the small room at the end of the hall, you found Yelena sitting on a mattress on the ground with another woman.
The woman looked to be the same age as you and Natasha and appeared to be a noblewoman in a dress made of fine silk.
But if not for her gown, you never would have guessed.
The woman was caked in grime and sea salt, her lip was split, and her eye was almost swollen shut from the bruise surrounding it.
"Y/N, pass me your dagger," Yelena demanded, pulling hers out a set of shackles that were binding the girls' wrists together.
You handed your dagger to the blonde without a word as Natasha moved to kneel beside the two.
"What's your name, dorogoy?" Natasha asked as Yelena resumed picking the cuffs.
"W-Wanda." The woman stuttered.
"Like the princess Wanda?" Natasha asked, raising a brow. "Pearce's daughter?"
"I'm not his daughter," Wanda replied immediately. "I'll never be his."
"What happened to you, Wanda?" You asked, moving beside Natasha. "Who did this to you?" You prodded, nodding at her face.
"He did," Wanda whispered.
"Pearce."
"Yes." Wanda nodded. "He did this to me, and he was going to sell me to be his cousin's bride. Please, don't give me over to him."
"Of course not." Natasha agreed immediately.
"You won't? Honestly and truly?"
"No." You shook your head. "Your allegiance doesn't lie with Pearce, does it?" You guessed.
"Give me the means, and I will gladly watch him suffer." Wanda declared, causing you and Natasha to grin as Yelena pulled off the girl's shackles. "Thank you."
"You need to see someone about that eye." You said, rising to a stand. "Lucky for you, we have the best doctor on the seas." You told Wanda, holding your hand out to her to take.
"Thank you," Wanda replied quietly before fitting your hand with hers.
You could hear Natasha giving her sister orders for the crew as you led Wanda out of the room.
"You coming, Nat?" You asked, looking over your shoulder to your wife.
"Yeah, I'm right behind you," Natasha promised, kissing her sister's cheeks before making her way towards you and Wanda. "Lead the way, moy dorogoy."
"I can't do much for your lip other than to advise you to keep it clean," Bruce told Wanda as he finished wrapping her cut and bruised wrists.
"Okay."
"Though, this should help with the bruising and the swelling," Bruce said, placing a small pot of green ointment into the woman's hands.
"Thank you, doctor," Wanda said, flashing a weak smile before wincing.
"This should help with the pain." Bruce smiled sympathetically, dosing Wanda out two pills.
"Thank you, Bruce." Natasha nodded before the man left the room.
"Wanda, we have some questions for you about your father." You said once the door closed.
"He's not my father." Wanda denied. "Not by blood, at least."
"He's your stepfather?" Natasha asked, raising a brow. "We've always heard differently."
"You heard what he wanted you to hear." Wanda sighed. "My father died when I was eight. Soon after his death, Pearce forced my mother to marry him. He was sterile. No matter how many women Pearce used, Pearce never could produce an heir. So, when he married my mother, he got it all. A wife and queen, and two heirs." Wanda shook her head.
"You had a brother, didn't you?" You questioned her.
"A twin. His name was Pietro." Wanda said, her eyes taking on a glassy look. "Everyone thinks he died because of a sickness, along with my mother, but Pearce killed them."
"Why would he do that, Wanda?"
"Because he's a monster. He would beat my mother, and one night Pietro jumped in front of her." Wanda said, choking on a sob. "Pearce killed them both, and he told me if I ever spoke a word, he would kill me too."
"Why did you stay, Wanda?" Natasha questioned the woman.
"Nat!" You hissed, elbowing the woman in the side.
"I tried to run," Wanda said before you could further scold your wife. "I tried to run for years, but he always found me and dragged me back kicking and screaming. I could never escape him."
"He can't get you now, Wanda." You promised the girl.
"Do you have anywhere to go?" Natasha asked her. "Any family who'd be willing to take you in?"
"Both sets of my grandparents died before I was born, and neither of my parents had any siblings." Wanda shook her head. "But I'll find my way. If you could perhaps just leave me at the nearest port, I'd be most grateful and never bother you again."
"Just a second." You bid before pulling Natasha out of the room. "We can't leave her alone, Tash." You sighed. "Pearce may be a moron, but he's a moron who thinks of people as his property."
"And who has an army who will do whatever he wants." Natasha agreed. "I know, but you can't be suggesting what I think you are."
"And why not?"
"Because she's a princess! As much as she might not have wanted to be one, she is royalty." Natasha argued. "She deserves better than what we can offer."
"You heard her as well as I did, Natasha. If she had the chance, she would kill Pearce." You reminded the redhead. "There is a fire within her, and we both saw it.
"You understand we'll be putting an even larger target on ourselves?" Natasha sighed, causing you to grin.
You knew how to play your wife.
"Pearce already wanted us dead. What's life without the constant threat of being murdered?" You shrugged.
"Alright. You win." Natasha relented. "As always."
"You shouldn't argue with me, lover." You grinned, kissing the woman's cheek before walking back into the room where Wanda was resting.
"If you were on your own, you'd be dead within the month."You told Wanda, causing her to wince.
"Y/N." Natasha sighed loudly.
"Pearce would find you no matter where you go. He'll never leave you alone."
"Oh," Wanda said, looking down at her hands.
"But if you were with us, it wouldn't matter when he found you. Because you'd be safe with us."
"What, what are you offering here?" Wanda wondered.
"A place on the ship. A place on the crew and our protection." Natasha told her.
"I don't know the first thing about being a pirate," Wanda admitted. "And I don't know how to fight." She said with a frown.
"We can teach you, Wanda." You promised her. "It will not be hard."
"But, why? Why offer me sanctuary when you know next to nothing about me?" Wanda questioned the two of you.
"We know enough." You told the woman.
"And, we know what it feels like to not have a choice," Natasha added.
"There is a choice here, Wanda. You can choose to stay with us, or you can go. If you decide to go, we'll leave you at a tavern that our friend owns. She'll be able to help you. But if you stay with us, we will train you for this crew."
"You'll be trained by the best and maybe fuck up some of Pearce's plans while you're at it." You added with a grin. "We'll give you some time to decide." You said before you and Natasha turned to leave.
"You don't have to." Wanda said, stopping the two of you in your tracks. "I'd like to stay and to learn, please."
"You're not going to regret this, Wanda," Natasha promised.
"No. I don't think I will."
"I regret everything." Wanda groaned, collapsing onto a nearby crate. "All my muscles hurt."
"You'll get used to it." Clint chuckled, taking the sword from the girls' limp hand. "You're getting better."
"Yes, I lasted two minutes instead of thirty seconds." Wanda rolled her eyes.
"Thirty seconds and two minutes can mean the difference between life and death." You said from where you had been watching.
"I'm still not good enough to hold my own." Wanda sighed.
"You've been at this for two weeks, Wanda. Half of Pearce's soldiers can't even hold their swords correctly." Clint told the girl.
"How 'bout I take over for a while, Clint?" You suggested.
"If you want to. I might go to the nest for a while." Clint nodded, sheathing his sword.
"Pick up your sword, Wanda." You said, taking off your jacket. "I'm gonna show you how to fight like a woman."
"What's the difference?" Wanda asked, standing before picking up her sword. "I thought Clint was teaching me how to fight as you asked."
"He is, but Clint is used to fighting like a man. His body is different to ours, and we have different strengths to him." You told her. "We're quicker than men, our centre of gravity is different, and you don't need a sword that heavy." You said, nodding to the weapon in her hands.
"But Clint told me to use this one." Wanda protested.
"And it's too heavy for you, isn't it?"
"Yes," Wanda admitted with a sigh.
"And you didn't say anything because?" You asked, raising a brow.
"Because I didn't want to be wrong."
"There is nothing wrong with admitting that something feels wrong." You promised Wanda. "Try this." You said, passing your sword over to her.
"It feels light." She said, carefully passing it from hand to hand. "It feels better."
"Good, because Tony's already halfway down with your new one." You revealed. "Now show me what you've learned." You said, picking up another sword.
"I don't want to hurt you, Y/N," Wanda said with a frown.
"You won't." You told her. "Are you scared to hurt Clint?"
"Yes."
"And do you ever?"
"No."
"Then I'm not going to be hurt." You said firmly. "Now, let's begin, shall we?"
Non-reader POV
"Look! There's two more now!" Wanda pointed at the pod of dolphins swimming alongside the ship.
"Those two seem to be the babies of the group." Natasha used, smiling as another dolphin jumped through the waters.
"They're gorgeous." Wanda sighed happily, leaning against the railing.
"Did you know that the dolphin is a messenger of Poseidon?" Natasha asked, not taking her eyes off the waters.
"I didn't." Wanda shook her head.
"Hm, they travel all around the world delivering messages to other Gods and to us mortals," Natasha told her.
"Have you ever been given a message from the Gods?" Wanda wondered.
"Have you?"
"Once. My father owned a port, and the week before he passed, every ship he sent out came back empty. Mother said it was an omen." Wanda revealed.
"The sea is all-knowing. No need to bring fish back for a dead man." Natasha hummed. "The Gods have given me two messages in this lifetime," Natasha said after a minute of silence. "The first was to run. To take Y/N and Lena and run as far as we could. And the second was to marry Y/N."
"How did you know the messages were for you?" Wanda asked, cocking her head to the side. "How did you know the Gods were telling you to run?"
"Because I'd asked for a sign. When the three of us were planning to get away from our first crew, I'd been unsure. Unsure that we'd be safe and I had begged for a sign. And when I looked over the side of the ship, three dolphins were swimming away from it." Natasha recounted.
"And then you left?"
"And then we left." Natasha smiled. "And as for Y/N, I already knew I wanted to marry her, but it was after attacking one of HYDRA's ships that I knew it was time. We were boarding back onto our ship, and a dolphin jumped out of the water and right into our path. I got down on one knee before it had even fallen back into the water." Natasha added.
"That sounds beautiful."
"As beautiful as this life can be."
"Can you tell me more about the sea? More about the waters and its messages?" Wanda asked, staring at the redhead with inquisitive eyes.
"Of course. Every pirate should know about the seas, the Gods and their stories." Natasha smiled at the girl. "Where do you want to begin?"
Reader POV
"Alright, outta your bunk, Wanda!" You exclaimed, knocking once on her door before entering Wanda's cabin.
"You're supposed to wait for her to say enter, Y/N." Natasha rolled her eyes as she strolled right into the room.
"And you're supposed to wait for me to say enter." Wanda teased, placing her book to the side. "What can I do for the two of you?"
"You can start by putting these on," Natasha said, tossing Wanda her boots. "We're going out.
"Out where?" Wanda asked, complying with Natasha's request.
"To join the rest of the crew at Pep's tavern." You said. "Drinking with the rest of your crew is a right of passage for every pirate." You told the woman.
"I've never been to a tavern before," Wanda said as she stood. "Is it any good?"
"No. It's loud, the patrons are usually piss-swilling morons, and if you wanted to smell like a tankard, you could just bathe in the stuff instead of sitting in it." You said honestly.
"Then why are we going to a tavern?" Wanda asked, cocking her head.
"For fun," Natasha said. "It's good for the crew to leave the ship once in a while. No one wants to catch the ocean madness, and going to drink together is the best part."
"Plus, there's no better place than Pepper's." You said as the three of you descended the ship. "Trust us, Wands, Pepper runs the tavern of taverns."
"I guess I'll have to be the judge of that for myself." Wanda smiled.
"This place is amazing!" Wanda giggled, sinking into a chair across from you and Natasha. "I'm so dizzy."
"Yeah, that's usually what happens when you dance with Thor," Natasha smirked before drinking from her tankard.
"Is it really dancing if all you're doing is just spinning around?" You asked from your spot on Natasha's lap before stealing her drink.
"I don't know, but it's much more fun than dancing at balls," Wanda said, filling her cup once more. "It's all slow music and waltzes. Nothing like this." She added, looking around the room with a grin.
"Gross."
"Sounds boring."
"Oh, it was." Natasha nodded. "The only fun part was sneaking off when no one was watching."
"Oh, you little rebel." You teased the woman.
"It seems we weren't as bad influences as we thought we were." Natasha joined in. "Wanda here's been a rebel for yeard."
"Why do you think Pearce tried to sell me off?" Wanda asked, sculling a large amount of her tankard.
"Are you being serious? He tried to sell you off and did what he did to your face all because you left some party early?" You growled.
"More like for who I was running off with," Wanda said, oblivious to your anger.
"Who were you running off with?" Natasha asked curiously.
"Her name was Monica. She was a serving girl in th castle." Wanda admitted. "We used to sneak off into the east wing together."
"So, Pearce sold you off because you were friends with a serving girl?"
"Pearce sold me off for kissing a serving girl. A girl." Wanda hiccuped. "Apparently, that was a big no-no."
"You realise that's not okay, don't you, Wanda?" You questioned the woman.
"Of course I know that. He hit me with a fire poker!" Wanda giggled drunkenly before finishing off her tankard.
"Okay, that's enough of that," Natasha said, taking the tankard out of Wanda's hands.
"No. Not that. Well, yes, that. But liking women, there's nothing wrong with that."
"Oh, I know that too! Pearce was wrong about everything. Did you know he thought beef came from chickens?" Wanda laughed before suddenly gasping. "I love this song! Let's dance, please?" She asked, jumping to her feet.
"I think we might have to get you back to the ship." You said. "You've had a lot to drink, more than you've ever had with us before."
"What? No! One more dance! Please?" Wanda begged.
"One more dance." Natasha relented. "And then we're rounding the crew up anyway. Pepper'll kill us if we start another fight in her place."
"Woo-hoo!"
"You got those two, Steve?" You asked, watching as Steve carried Clint and Bruce over his shoulders towards their quarters.
"Always do." He chuckled. "I'll let you know if Bucky has any problems bringing Thor in."
"Get Lena to help if you do." You told the man. "I think it's just Loki and Tony staying out tonight. But if you hear anyone else go, make sure they're semi sober, please."
"You got it, captain." Steve nodded before you made your way towards your wife, who was helping a half-awake Wanda to bed.
"I don't want to stop the party yet," Wanda whined as Natasha helped her take her boots off. "Let's keep going."
"No can do, red." You smirked, entering the room. "Rule number three of this ship, everyone stops drinking when they're in danger of killing their liver."
"Not my liver." Wanda gasped, her hand going to her side. "Is it dead?"
"Not if you go to sleep now," Natasha promised.
"You two are so nice." Wanda slurred, rolling onto her back. "Don't tell me I told you this, but Wanda really likes you two." She admitted, causing you and Natasha to share a shocked look.
"Are you sure about that?" You asked, sitting at the end of Wanda's bed.
"Hm-hm. You're so nice, you taught me to use the pointy stick, you want to spend time with me, and you're so attractive." Wanda hummed. "But you can't tell Y/N or Natasha. I don't wanna ruin their marriage. They're so nice to me." She added before falling asleep.
You and Natasha shared a look before you both silently made your way out of Wanda's quarters and into your shared room.
"How much of that do you think was the ale?" Natasha asked as you began undressing.
"The ale or the rum she stole from Steve?" You joked.
"Y/N."
"What?"
"This is not something to joke about." Natasha sighed.
"I'm not joking. Look, Tash, this is a good thing. You have fantasised about being with Wanda for as long as I have. We've both thought about being with her, and now we have a chance."
"That's the problem."
"Why is that a problem?"
"Because now we know!" Natasha exclaimed, sinking into the chair at the desk. "Not only do we know that Wanda likes women, but we know that she likes us."
"Natasha, tell me what's really going on here." You said, sinking to your knees in front of your wife. "Talk to me."
"We're not good enough for her, Y/N. I'm not good enough." Natasha admitted with a sigh. "I'm already pushing my luck by having you. There's no way this world is going to let me have two women who could actually love me."
"Natasha. That's not true."
"Really? Because as much as we like to pretend we're good people, we're not. We've killed so many people." Natasha reminded you. "Done so many bad things. Our ledgers are never going to be clean.."
"Half of those things were done at the behest of someone else. It was all we knew, we didn't know any better." You reminded her.
"But we still kill,"
"Only those who deserve it."
"We still steal,"
"From Pearce and his soldiers who steal more than we do. And we share our treasure with all the villages we visit."
"And we can't give her anything!" Natasha exclaimed, rising to her feet. "She's a princess, Y/N! And we can't give her anything more than this ship."
"Was. Wanda was a princess. A reluctant one at that." You corrected your wife as you also stood. "She has been on this ship with us for a year, and she's never said or looked like she has regretted her decision."
"But she could. If she decides we're not worth it, Wanda could regret everything." Natasha said. "And, then if she can see it, what's to say you won't next?"
"Oh, Tasha." You cooed, stepping closer to her until your noses were touching. "I am going to leave you. I don't regret any part of my life with you. And I know Wanda won't either." You told her.
"Are you sure?"
"As sure as the sun's going to rise." You smiled. "Now, stop arguing with me. You never win anyway."
"No, I don't."
"All you need to worry about right now is getting undressed and getting into bed with me." You told her. "Tomorrow, we can handle the rest."
The next morning, you and Natasha rose early, as always, and made your rounds through the ship handing out hangover cures.
"Knock-knock." You chirped, tapping on Wanda's door before pushing it open.
Inside, Wanda was leaning over her mattress, pouring the contents of her stomach into a nearby bucket.
"Ah, remember when drinking affected us?" You asked Natasha before sitting beside the other woman. "Let it out, Wand. You'll feel better."
"I'll feel better when I'm dead." Wanda groaned, laying her head over the edge of her bed. "Why did you let me drink so much?"
"Because a hangover is a right of passage." You told the woman.
"Also, I was only able to pry the mug out of your hands once," Natasha added. "You've got quite a death grip."
"I think death's got his grip on me."
"Come now." You tutted. "Drink this." You said, shoving a waterskin into her hands.
"No more rum, please." Wanda groaned.
"Not rum." You promised. "Just the best hangover cure on the ocean." You told her.
"Yay." Wanda groaned weakly before taking the skin from your hands.
"How much of last night do you remember?" Natasha asked, sitting on the foot of the bed.
"Every minute," Wanda whispered, her cheeks burning red. "I shouldn't have said the things I did. For that, I'm sorry."
"There's no need." You promised, first looking to Natasha before placing your hand on Wanda's knee. "Wanda, Natasha and I have been talking about this for longer than just last night."
"We both like you," Natasha admitted.
"But, you're married," Wanda said, cocking her head. "How can you like me if the two of you have each other?"
"It's called polyamory, Wanda. Some people like more than one person. Sometimes people have closed groups, and sometimes people have open relationships where they can have multiple partners." Natasha explained.
"Oh." Wanda simply said. "I didn't know that was a thing." She told you.
"Well, considering how Pearce reacted when he found out you were gay, I'm not surprised." You mumbled. "If you were truly serious about liking the two of us last night, this is something we can discuss."
"What? The three of us, together?" Wanda asked, "And you'd want this? You'd want me?" She wondered.
"Yes, Wanda. We wouldn't bring this up if we didn't want you or didn't think this would work." You promised, grabbing her hand in yours. "If this is something you want, we can take this at whatever speed we need. This is new for us too."
"And it's, it's not wrong?" Wanda questioned the two of you. "It's not going to ruin your marriage, or our friendship, or anything else?:
"No." Natasha shook her head. "Y/N and I are agreed on this and we want tot talk through everything with you."
"And you were our friend first. Even if we decide if this doesn't work, we still want you to be in our lives." You added. "You know, Pepper's place does breakfast and sometimes all a hangover needs is something to settle the stomach."
"We could go into town, get breakfast and talk?" Natasha suggested.
"I'd, I'd like." Wanda smiled. "Maybe after I finish this though." She said, sipping from the waterskin.
"Probably for the best. You did drink a lot last night. More than even Steve." Natasha teased.
"Don't remind me." Wanda groaned as you giggled. "Please no ale at breakfast."
"I think that's doable." You promised. "I think everything's going to work out from here on."
"Yeah. I think, I think you're right."
