Summary
I read a story called "Like Broken Glass" by 100GoldenUrns and I have always loved the fics where Tony and most of The Avengers are a bit mean to Peter and treat him like an untrustworthy juvenile delinquent for a good hurtful while. And I like the idea of Peter being orphaned and homeless and actually going to Fury for help.. soooo..

Chapter 6

..

..

After a week of living in an eggshell that he was afraid of breaking if he stepped a toe out of place, Peter eventually had to venture out of his Living Quarters.

Because of school.

Fury had informed him that he had been Re-Enrolled into Midtown and that the school would expect him to begin attending once more that coming Monday.

He told The Tower's AI that he was leaving, Fury had told him that the building was programmed to allow him entry and even Tony Stark couldn't override it, then practically tiptoed out of his Living Quarters.

"What are you doing off your floor?" It was Captain America.

"Um... Fury told me I could come and go as I needed?" His voice pitched in the inquiry. "I have to go to school?"

"Fury said he arranged to have tutors coming to do your schooling." The man said as if he didn't believe Peter and suspected him to be lying.

"Yeah." Peter nodded trying to stay amiable even though the slight hint of an accusation had him feeling a bit frustrated "For things like Aptitude Tests. To make sure I would be put into the right grade level since I've been out of school so long. I passed them all so they're putting me back in classes at my old highschool. So I have to get going."

"And you expect to be able to just waltz right back into The Tower when school lets out?"

Trying to quell the irritation rising in him in an attempt to stay civil Peter just tightened his his lips into a fake grin and gave a hopefully seemingly friendly nod fun fun head "Yeah, Fury said..."

"Fury isn't here right now. You leave the premises we're locking you out."

"But The Tower is programmed to let me in?"

"We'll post Security Guards at the entrances."

"Rrrrriiiiigggggghhhttt... Okay .. yeah... Good luck with that I guess." Peter replied feeling less worried. After all he didn't need to come in from ground level.
