Beidou heard Kokomi singing quietly in the kitchen while making a midnight snack for herself, Kokomi noticed Beidou and quickly goes quiet, they felt confuse on why Kokomi does that whenever they walk into the room while she's singing, this time Beidou asks her, so they slowly approached Kokomi from behind giving her a hug and lays their head on Kokomi's back "Koko why do you stop singing whenever I'm here, it's almost like you don't want me to hear your voice" she felt a bit embarrassed and guilty, she sighs and decides to just come out to Beidou "I..Well-" Beidou kiss the back of her neck, reassuring her, she huffs "I'm kind of insecure about my voice..." Beidou felt a little sting in their heart "Awh Kokomi dear" They take Kokomi's hand causing her to turn around. Beidou places their hand on one of Kokomi's cheeks "I adore your voice, I could listen to you for hours and hours Kokomi" Kokomi leans into Beidou's hand and hugs them "It really doesn't sound bad?" Beidou giggles "Of course not Koko, I could never get tired of it".
After that Kokomi sings more loudly while making breakfast or doing chores in general, Beidou loves to hear her from another room. She also started opening up her voice to her friends, now she sometimes sings for some of their songs as maybe just back vocals. It was a big step in her life, since she was little she hated it and never liked singing but with only Beidou's words and reassurance she manage to open her heart and vocal cords. She really is lucky to have a lover that adores her like she was their entire world.
