Summary
This is the third in a series, following An Uncertain Future and Healing. The guys are on their way back to New York and Stark Tower. Although Yori Nakajima's death has cancelled the bounty on Bucky's head, he's still wanted by most law enforcement agencies on the planet.Steve, and the rest of the Avengers, are committed to bringing Bucky in from the cold. Bucky just knows that he needs to stop killing, whatever the cost to himself.

Steve peeked inside the suite, smiling when he saw Bucky fast asleep, Ali curled up on the bed beside him.
Bucky didn’t stir when the door opened, but Ali raised her head and gave him a baleful stare. Making a face at the little cat, Steve carefully closed the door, then tiptoed down the hall, heading for the kitchen.
The kitchen was empty. So was the coffee pot, so he spent a couple of minutes setting the pot to brew.
Watching the interminable drip, drip, drip of the lifegiving elixir, Steve heard a footstep behind him and turned.
“Hey, Cap.”
