Summary
This is the third in a series, following An Uncertain Future and Healing. The guys are on their way back to New York and Stark Tower. Although Yori Nakajima's death has cancelled the bounty on Bucky's head, he's still wanted by most law enforcement agencies on the planet.Steve, and the rest of the Avengers, are committed to bringing Bucky in from the cold. Bucky just knows that he needs to stop killing, whatever the cost to himself.

Ali skittered her way through the Quinjet, rubbing up against the legs of every human on board, collecting smiles and caresses from all.
Her human smelled sad, so she jumped up onto his lap, meowing plaintively until he took her into his arms, giving her hugs and lovely scritches.
When he started to smell less sad, Ali gave his hand a fond little nip and jumped back down to the floor to continue her explorations.
Catly curiosity took her to the cockpit. She leapt into Natasha’s lap, then onto her shoulder, peering ahead through the windshield.
