I
Aro, Caius, and Marcus Volturi we're sitting on their thrones, chatting, when a lower-ranked guard member knocked on the door and entered, bowing.
"My Lords, Jane and Alec Volturi are requesting an audience with you."
Aro looked questionably at his brothers before turning and addressing the guard.
"Send them in."
They were all curious as to why they requested an audience and if it had anything to do with the mission they were sent on or if it was on an entirely different matter.
Their questions were answered when Jane and Alec walked in. They heard a slight clinking sound but couldn't find the source.
Jane and Alec bowed slightly.
Jane spoke hesitantly but with determination, "My Lords, we have found an immortal child while on our mission and we brought them here."
Aro gasped but then became angry, "Why did you bring then here!?!?!? You should have killed then on sight!"
"My Lord, the reason why we didn't is because of very special circumstances."
"What special circumstances?"
"The boy has no temper and does not act like an ill-mannered child."
"Let me see him and then we'll decide what to do with him," Aro said definitively.
Jane nodded and gently grabbed the boys small hand and led him out from behind her brother.
When the brothers saw the child, they couldn't help but gasp. The child was only clad in a thin nightgown that was probably white at some point, but that wasn't what made them gasp. It was the chains.
The boys dainty ankles and wrists were shackled tightly with bulky locks and heavy chains. There was a thick metal collar around his small neck with a chain trailing down to the floor connected to it. The chains connected to his wrist and ankle shackles were connected to the chains around his waist, leaving almost no room for mobility. He looked like a prisoner.
The three brothers automatically stood up and stalked over to the boy in chains and squatted down to the boys height so as to not intimidate him and make him lash out.
"What is your name, child?" Marcus asked softly.
"E-e-elliot," came the soft reply, the extremely beautiful boy fiddling with his fingers nervously.
"How old were you when you were turned, Elliot?" Caius asked politely.
"I-I-I was 10," he said shyly.
"How old are you now, child? We haven't heard of you before," Aro asked.
"W-w-what year is it, sir?" The small boy inquired.
"It is the year 2012, little immortal."
"Th-th-then I'm 816 years old, sir."
They all gasped, how have they never heard of him before?
"Do you remember the day you were turned, young one?" Caius asked.
He nodded, head slightly bowed.
"Will you tell us?"
"I-i-it was early February when it happened. I-I-I was always a sickly child but the day before it happened, I had an extremely high fever and I couldn't even open my eyes or lift a finger I was so weak.
M-m-my family and I knew what was about to happen and they helped me get comfortable on my bed and then surrounded me and just... held me.
I-I-I was getting worse by the minute and I knew I wasn't going to be alive much longer. I-I-I was about to pass out and my mother said that I would be okay and that it was okay to let go, so I did.
Th-th-the next thing I remember was excruciating pain and someone holding me before passing out again.
W-w-when I woke up, I found myself in a basement, bound in chains and unable to get out with a burning pain in my throat," the child's hand went up to his throat, subconsciously rubbing it, lost in thought.
"I'm sorry that happened to you, Elliot. Would you be okay with me taking off your chains?" Aro asked.
Elliot looked hesitant but nodded his consent. Aro grasped the boys hips and shifted him closer to himself so he could take off the chains and shackles. He grasped a small foot and gently held it while taking his razor sharp nails to the thick padlock keeping the tight shackle in place. After breaking the lock, he carefully pried the cuff apart to reveal the heavily cracked skin underneath. He did the same to the other ankle then bit through the waist chain and took off the wrist cuffs. The final thing to go was the thick collar around his neck.
"Elliot, will you sit down for me please? I need to get the collar around your neck off."
Elliot obediently sat down and tilted his head to an angle so Aro wouldn't struggle getting it off him. Aro got the collar off after some struggling with the thick metal and stood up from where he was crouching. He held out a hand for the little vampire to take.
Once he felt the freezing and fragile hand land lightly in his, he grasped it and pulled the frightfully light child up from the ground and held onto the small hand.
"Would you like to be carried, little one? We're going to get you cleaned up and get you something to eat. His does that sound?" He asked seeing how dark his eyes were and how he was struggling to stay standing.
Elliot looked up at him and nodded, raising his arms to be picked up. Aro hooked his hands under the boys armpits and lifted him up. Elliot wrapped his legs around the man's waist and looped his thin arms around the mans neck and rested his head on the broad shoulder. Aro had his hand in the boy bottom, holding him up so he didn't fall.
Aro then swept out of the room and swiftly made his way to his chambers and in his personal bathroom. He sat Elliot down on the baths edge and started filling the tub with warm water. He helped the small boy stand up and crouched down to his height.
"Let's get this night gown off you, okay?"
Elliot nodded and lifted his arms up above his head so Aro can get the dirty clothing off him. Aro gently grabbed the hem of the gown and lifted it up until it was off the petite boy. Ari had to hold in his gasp as he saw Elliot's body. He was covered in hundreds of cracks and bite marks. He smiled sympathetically at the little boy and helped him into the warm bath and sit down in the tub.
"You can splash for a little while I go get some things for your bath and have someone get you some new clothes and wash your night gown."
"O-o-okay!" Elliot smiled, happy to have a bath.
Ari smiled back and left the room to call for a maid. When one arrived, he have her his orders and told her to hurry. Then he grabbed soap, a was cloth, a towel, shampoo, conditioner, and a cup.
He walked back into the bathroom and smiled and the sight of the young ten year old splashing and giggling to himself. He kneeled down next to the tub.
"Will you lean your head back, sweetheart?"
Elliot nodded and leaned his head back, stopping his splashing. Ari scooped up water into the cup and poured it over the boys oily hair. He did that a couple of times before grabbing the shampoo and squirting the some in his hand, lathering it. Then he started gently scrubbing the boys head, nails lightly scratching at his scalp. The boy hummed at the sensation and leaned into the hands, making Aro smile at the boys adorable reaction.
He continued washing the boys hair and body until he was all clean. He grabbed the fluffy towel, helped the boy stand up into the tub, then wrapped the large towel around the small body. He smiled at the sight and then picked the underweight boy up and brought him to his bed. He grabbed the black night gown that the maid brought and helped the young boy put it on. He picked up the hooded cloak and clasped it on to him. He then looked at the underwear - girls panties.
Aro took an unneeded breath and held then open for the boy to step in, silently hoping that the boy wouldn't notice.
Thankfully, he didn't. Elliot put his dainty hands on Aro's shoulders to steady himself while he stepped into the garment. He adjusted his gown and cloak before looking back up at Aro.
"Why don't you sit down on the bed and I'll finish drying your hair, flower?"
Elliot nodded and clambered up into the king sized bed, little feet dangling off the edge. Aro grabbed the towel and started gently rubbing his head with it.
After about 10 minutes, Elliot's hair was completely dry and the little boy completely relaxed. He lifted the hood up over the boys small head and picked the boy up again, walking out if his chambers and to the 'kitchen.'
"Let's go get you something to eat, little one. I know you must be hungry. When was the last time you ate?"
Elliot shrugged, "A-A-A week and a half ago?"
"Okay then, let's hurry."
When they finally got to the 'kitchen', Aro let him choose two humans that were in large, crammed cells.
He ended up choosing a middle-aged man and a young woman in her twenties. He drained them quickly, the burning pain in his throat lessening the more he drank. He looked up after he finished, licking his lips and smiling shyly at the older vampire.
"M-m-m'sorry, I didn't mean to drink so fast. I-I-I was really hungry and I guess I didn't realise it," He whispered sheepishly.
"It's alright, flower," He soothed the little vampire, seeing the darkness in the boys crimson eyes lessen, leaving them a sparkling ruby.
Aro picked the child up again and carried him off to the throne room to discuss his fate.
He quickly arrived and walked into the spacious room, the little vampires face tucked into the crevice between his neck and shoulder. Gracefully walking over to his throne in the middle of the platform. Marcus was already there, so it was just Caius left to arrive.
