(Tony's lab in the avengers compound) off-camera.
"But Mr. Stark, devo davvero?" (1)
Tony smirks "Cosa? (2) I thought you loved the show"
"I do" Peter sighs "I really do but that show is for people whose lives are disasters. people who have a really hard time in their life. I don't have that. I'm fine. I can manage."
Tony points at the chair next to him "Pete sit down. Yeah, now look me in the eyes. Come on, I won't bite you. Grazie. (3) Now listen to me very carefully. You are a lot but you are not fine underoos. The scars on your arm prove that. but that's okay. It's okay to not always be fine. and it's okay that you can't manage now. You said you had to manage when you were 15. Most people can't even when they are well into adulthood. Just let me help okay. Let the fab 5 help. You deserve it."
"Okay... okay, when will they be here?"
"In like an hour so just go do something in your lab."
"They know about spider-man right?"
"yup"
(In the car, New York) on camera.
Karamo: "Everyone! I want to introduce you to our new hero!"
Jonathan: "OOOOHHHH I can't wait, who is it?"
Karamo: "This week, our hero is Peter Parker! He is 17 and he'll be celebrating his 18th birthday at the end of this week!"
Tan: "A sweet 18th! that sounds fun"
Karamo: "He was nominated by his friends, Mj, Ned, and Shuri, His boyfriend Harley, and his boss, TONY STARK!"
Jonathan: "Tony stark as in Stark indusries tony stark? as in iron man Tony stark?!"
Karamo: "Yep that Tony Stark"
Bobby: "Wait, he isn't even 18 and he is working for Tony Stark?"
Antoni: "he must be smart"
Karamo: "Well smart he definitely is. But he also has had a rough couple of years."
Jonathan: "Oh no! what happened!?"
Karamo: "3 years ago, right after he graduated high school *Jonathan takes a breath to say something* yes he graduated high school at 15, his aunt kicked him out for being bisexual and transgender. He spent a little over a year sneaking in and out of his friend Ned's room every night to sleep and he worked at Stark industries. Then he got enough money to get a small apartment. When Tony Stark found out that his "favorite intern" was, and I'm quoting him now, "living in an apartment that hurts my soul" he immediately offered Peter a place in the Avengers compound but apparently, he said no...."
Tan: "do we know why he said no?"
Karamo: "not yet but I'm definitely going to ask him. I just hope that it isn't a touchy subject and that he's willing to answer. anyways, this month he actually said yes! he's moving into an apartment in the compound together with his boyfriend Harley"
Tan: "aww cute"
Bobby: "So sounds like he has a lot on his plate. and our job is to get him a nice and organized 18th birthday and help him move in?"
Karamo: "Well not really. We need to get him ready for a press conference on his birthday. He says he's going to reveal something to the world that he has been hiding from them for a long time."
Antoni: "Do we know what it is? It seems important if there's gonna be a whole press conference"
Karamo: "We actually do. So our hero, Peter Parker, seems to be an actual hero because this 17-year-old is Spider-man!!!!!"
*basically chaos. most of them are screaming *coughjonathancough* and talking*
Tan: "SHUT ____ UP"
Jonathan: "SINCE -uh- WHEN"
Bobby: "WAIT THAT'S SPIDER-MAN?! *points at the photo on the iPad Karamo is holding* AS IN THE SUPERHERO FROM QUEENS?"
Tan: "OMG spider-man is trans and bisexual!"
Bobby: "Is Peter also coming out in that way or...?"
Karamo: "I don't know but we'll ask him. anyways we're almost there!"
Antoni: "Waitwaitwaitwaitwait so we are helping spider-man like the actual
s p i d e r - m a n to get his life back on track because he is just an almost 18 year old kicked out because of his identity?"
Karamo: "yep"
Jonathan: "Then let's help our favorite neighborhood Peter Parker and help him to go from Spiderdisaster to trans bider-master"
Tan: "That is what you came up with?"
Jonathan: "Shut up I couldn't think of anything"
(The compound. ) on camera.
Jonathan: "Let's go let's go!"
Tan: "where do we go?"
Karamo: *walks towards the reception and has a small conversation with the guy behind the desk and comes back with cards for everyone* okay so take these passes we need them to get to Peter's lab. Look, they have our names and pronouns on them. "
Jonathan: *reading* Jonathan van Ness. all pronouns. That's awesome!"
Bobby: "Do you know where to go?"
Karamo: "I don't but FRIDAY does"
Antoni: "Who is FRIDAY?"
FRIDAY: "Hello! I am FRIDAY. The building A.I. Follow me and I'll show you how to get to mini-stark. first left, please.
a small time skip in which the fab 5 gets to Peter provided to you by Dee ~(>.< ~). He will never tell you if Antoni walked against a glass wall or not.
* They finally reach Peter's lab. He is singing "home, by cavetown" while wearing his headphones. He seems to be working on something on his desk.*
Jonathan: "HEYYY!!!!!"
Peter: *shoots up* AAHH! FRIDAY I told you to warn me!"
FRIDAY: "boss personally denied that request on behalf of "good television"
Peter: "ugh, anyways. Hey! how are you doing." *he gets hugged by everyone*
Bobby: "We are great, how are you?"
Peter: *while picking the sleeves of his sweater* "I'm fine"
Antoni: *looks at the web-shooters Peter was working on* So can you say it one time for the camera? like you don't have to but..."
Peter: "oh y-yeah sure so uhm. I am Spider-man"
*Everyone cheers*
*everyone walks around his lab a bit*
Tan: "So is this how you usually dress or..??"
Peter: "This is quite normal."
Tan: "And do you have anything formal?"
Peter: "not really. Day to day I can't really wear that especially not in the lab and I honestly don't really have the money"
Karamo: "But you have Tony Stark on your side right? He told us that he has offered countless times to help you moneywise. why not"
Peter: "I... I don't want to be a charity? plus he has done so much for me already."
Bobby: "like what?"
Peter: "like he paid for my t. and my suit."
Bobby: "but that doesn't help you survive"
Peter: "Well I guess..."
Karamo: "So how long have you been spider-man?"
Peter: "since I was 14 so almost 4 years now"
Bobby: "changing the topic entirely, you are going to move in somewhere here right? with your boyfriend?"
Peter: "Yeah, with Harley. a couple of halls down."
Bobby: "Could you show me?"
Peter: "it's still empty but sure"
Here is Dee's friend Charlie with another time skip so the fab 5 and Peter can calmly move to the new place. (*~*)/ he hopes you are enjoying the story so far. he will also tell you that Antoni definitely did bump against a glass wall
Peter: "so this is where we're going to live" *opens the door*
Bobby: *looks around* "oh I looove it. It has a lot of potential. It's like working with a blank canvas. Perfect"
Jonathan: "I love the big windows!"
Bobby: "What do you want from this space? How does it have to function?"
Peter: *thinks for a bit* I want it to feel like a home and be cozy. I would love to have friends over and have room for fun stuff with them and just space where we can sit. We could never do that in my apartment. people would always just drop on the floor or sit on my desk or on the kitchen counter just so they could sit somewhere. "
Bobby: "Okay, so homey with space for friends. something else?"
Peter: "Uhm maybe ask Harley? He has a better sense of what we need with these kinds of things"
Bobby: "Okay cool I'll do that. Thanks
Tan: "So, spider-man, are we done here? I want to see the apartment that hurts Tony Starks' soul
Peter: "He said that? I swear he's so dramatic. It's not that bad.
