Part 2

The first thing Bakugo noticed as he woke up was the smell. It smelled like rotting flesh and soaked garbage. It forced him awake, just the smell making him want to throw up. A noise kept going off every couple seconds, a drop of water hitting a small puddle over and over and over. Crimson eyes scanned every inch of the room as he tried to keep the panic down. He held his head as it felt like it was going to explode, the creaking of the rundown bed making it worse.

“Ah, Mr Bakugo, glad you’re finally awake.” The young billionaire thought the voice sounded like nails on a chalkboard. His eyes made his way to the voice. There, in a black suit with thin white lines, was the man he kicked out of his building. He knew there was no point in charging, he could feel the cold steel around his wrists as he tried not to hyperventilate.

“What do you want, Yotsubashi..?” The man smirked as he started to pace in front of the metal bars.

“I want humanity’s future to be prosperous. I want humanity to go far and beyond what we already are, but yet, there are some thorns in that grand plan. Those thorns are people like you.” The man let venom leak out of his voice for the last sentence. Katsuki glared at the man in front of him.

“Like me..? You mean the Quirkless..?" The man's face twisted into a snarl at the word.

"Yes. The Quirkless have no place in a society full of the mighty. No power, no worth, no talent… Until you. Until the great Katsuki Bakugo had to go and become a billionaire. Until you got a partnership with the Yaoyorozu's." The teen watched Yotsubashi slam his fist into the metal bars. Black dots decorated the hand as the room shook because of the punch.

"So what if I did..? How does that affect you and your Quirkist company..?" He was getting tired of the pain in his head. The dripping of the water was really bothering him and the brown haired man's voice was grating.

"It affects me because your existence is a damn insult!" The blonde backed up as much as he could from the outburst. The creaking made his pain worse. "You had to go and become something you weren't supposed to. You were meant to stay beneath anyone and stay the worthless rat you are meant to be." The snarl turned into a vicious smile. "But, you have a use."

"Sure I do… If it's all the same to you bitch… I'll just lay here… Until I'm saved…" Bakugo didn't like the smile that bubbled up from the man's gut. How joyful it sounded. The smile never left his face as the black dots seemed to fade away.

"No one will come save you. Do you know how many cops I have under my thumb? How many heroes I have?" At the mention of heroes, the blonde felt like throwing up. He knew he had gone pale as the laughter started up again. A man like Rikiya obviously had connections in the police, Katsuki himself had some. Heroes however, that was different. The teen remembered the times Momo, Izuku and himself would dress up as heroes and act out the latest battle. Now he was being told that some of the heroes they looked up to could be under Rikiya's thumb. Heroes that shared his point of view.

"You're fucking lying you God damn extra… There's no way a damn he-"

"Oh but I'm not Bakugo. Slidin' Go and I have very similar viewpoints on the Quirkless." Bakugo could taste the vomit in his mouth. " But right now, that's neither here nor there, because you will build something for me. Or, would you rather your friends join you here?" Katsuki turned to glare at the man instantly. The Quirkist man could see anger and hatred build up in the teen's crimson eyes. He quickly stood up, not caring about the shackles holding him down.

"You leave my friends alone or I will personally ensure that you're dead when I break out of here." Instead of feeling like throwing up, he burned with anger as the man started to laugh again. That annoying and grating sound just made the teen want to explode.

“Oh, I’ll leave them alone on the condition you build something for me.”

“What is it? What do you want built?” At the moment, he didn’t care what he had to build as long as it kept Momo and Izuku safe. Yotsubashi pulled out a pair of keys and opened the teen’s cell. He walked over to him while whistling. The pain in Katsuki’s head returned in full force as he unlocked the shackles. The man gripped his arm and dragged him out of the cell. At least he was no longer bothered by the smell. The brown haired business man dragged the teen through various hallways. He eventually lost count of how many turns they had taken, until he was dropped at the man’s feet.

“I want a personal security system.” The teen slowly picked himself up. He could feel the heat of the room, but it wasn’t bothering him. This level of heat was something he was used to in his garage, one filled with forges, furnaces, machinery and various other items. A small part of him was glad to be in a familiar area. Sure, it looked like it had been through hell, but a lab was a lab to him. “I don’t want it linked back to you however, so I want mine to be entirely unique.” He watched Bakugo inspect the lab. The teen looked through each and every tool in the room, taking note of entrances and exits.

“Well, I’m sure I can build one for you, especially if it keeps my friends out of here… When do you want it?” The smile returned as the man walked to the exit.

“I would like a prototype in six months at the latest. Have fun.” With that, Yotsubashi finally left, leaving the teen to his own devices.

The police station was a whirlwind of activity. Police officers were rushing around, a lot of their focus was on trying to find the missing teenager. The man at the helm of this case was Tsukauchi Naomasa, a detective with short black hair and black eyes. He was sitting in his office with papers all around him. Each paper had a picture and the name of every single person that Bakugo Industries was partnered with or had tried to partner with. While they were all suspects, he had others going through criminal databases to find criminals that might’ve possibly kidnapped Katsuki Bakugo.

“Detective,” An officer with a cat head popped into his office. “Mr Yaoyorozu is here.” Naomasa sighed and started to put all the papers together.

“Send him in.” The cat headed officer left the room. After a couple minutes, a black haired man in a suit walked in. He looked directly at the detective. “Hello sir.” Naomasa did his best to put on a smile.

“Tsukauchi, you’ve known me for years at this point and are one of the few cops I like, you can call me by my name.” He smiled, but worry was very evident in his eyes. “Now, can I be told anything about the case? Can I help in any way?” Tsukauchi looked around the room, finding that his door was firmly shut and there wasn’t a single window open.

“Okay, somehow, whoever did this was able to scramble Katsuki’s security system and block Eagle from accessing it.” He was speaking in a quick and hushed voice. “They either had inside information or people with EMP Quirks. Along with that, all camera footage of that time is gone and erased.” Mr Yaoyorozu nodded along, his fingers tapping against the edge of the desk.

“I have a couple contacts that can get erased footage back, give it to me and I can guarantee the footage will be restored. I can’t guarantee when it will be restored though.” The detective pulled out some of the papers, handing them to the business man.

“Those are the people Katsuki refused to be partners with but are partnered with you. If you could give me any information on them, I would appreciate it, Kazu.” He gently folded the papers and put them in his suit. While he did that, Naomasa made a copy of the footage for himself. He put the original footage on a USB and handed it to Kazu. Said man also put that in a pocket in his suit. “And that is the original footage. I’m counting on you.” He nodded and stood up. The two men shook hands.

“I promise that you’ll have the information by tomorrow moring and the footage restored at the earliest possible moment.” With a nod, the business man walked out of the office. The detective sat back down and started sorting through the papers again. Kazu walked right out of the office and got into his car. He handed the USB to his butler, a man who’s been with the family since he was a teen. “Ensure that the USB gets to Mrs Hadoku. She’ll know what to do.”

“Of course sir. Anything else?”

“Yeah. Tell Momo and Izuku that everything will be fine. I don’t care if I have to tear up all of Japan itself, Katsuki will be brought home safe and sound.”
