Fog was filling the glass of the corner coffee shop Yelena had grown to love, Yelena was sitting at her regular seat near the bay window sipping coffee. She was starring at the half picture her sister gave her before they were split up as kids, She missed her sister terribly but she knew not so deep down that their was nothing she could do to bring her back. Yelena sat back and slid the picture into the pocket of her cargo pants. She waved her hand at the barista "Can I have another Coffee, no milk?" She asked, "Sure No problem" They replied.
Before making the coffee the barista headed over to a speaker and started playing a song from they're phone, Yelena paid no attention to the song what so ever just kept starring at her empty coffee cup. A minute or so later the barista came over with her coffee, "Thanks" Yelena said as she nodded at the barista. She took her first sip then heard that lyric, "This will be the day that I die" The speaker played.
Yelena froze she hadn't heard that song since the day she left Ohio, then suddenly all her memories of Natasha came rolling back. She stood up full of emotion dropped the money for the coffee's on the table and ran out into the now raining street, Suddenly her eyes were full of tears as she fell to the ground on her knees. "Natasha" She said as her voice trembled, she sat there in the middle of the street rain coming down hard crying. She looked up at the sky and heard her voice "It's okay" Yelena heard Nat in her head, Clint had told her that those were Nat's last words but it felt like she was right there. "Natasha" Yelena said through her tears. Yelena felt a hand on her back she turned around in hopes of her sister coming back from the dead.
But no. It was Her sister's best friend Clint, He pulled Yelena up from the ground and pulled her into a hug. Then he said the words she dreaded most "It's okay" She broke down "I miss her so much" Yelena said through her tears, "I know" Clint said trying not to break down himself. "You'll be okay, and if you can't be okay for your self be okay for her" Clint said a tear rolling down his face, "I know" Yelena whispered.
