Summary
Tony didn't really know how it happened but somehow in the months following bringing half of the population back from the dead he had gone from one to five children. Well logically he knew how it happened but it seemed like one day he only had Morgan and the next he had four teenagers and a kindergartener. But he couldn't be happier. Now they were starting school and that was going to bring a whole host of new issues.
Note
A few things before we get started, Abbie is Harley’s little sister but wasn't blipped so is now a year older. Their mother died four years into the blip and Abbie bounced around foster homes in Tennesse until Harley came back and called Tony not knowing where else to turn. Tony and Pepper then adopted both Keener siblings. May and Happy married during the blip and Tony struggled to have Peter too far away so they all agreed Peter would live with Tony and Pepper. Pepper’s parents had divorced when she was a kid and her father had remarried and had a daughter, Georgia, the same age as Peter. Her father had died two years before the blip of cancer and her step-mom died in a car accident during the blip leaving the teen alone when she was returned from the blip. Pepper and Tony hadn't hesitated to take her in.Also, Tony didn't die when he stapped don't ask me how, I don't really care. But he didn't, he did end up in a coma for two weeks and lost his arm, but he is alive. Oh and Tony never sold the tower. Once again I don't really care about the logic, but for the sake of the plot, I need him to still own it.

Chapter 5

Tony made the kids a quick snack before Peter and Harley decided to go out on patrol. That had been an agreement they had come to months ago, right after Harley finished his suit, neither boy would go out on patrol alone and would always call for backup if they needed it. That was the only way Tony would let them go out, so they had agreed with minimal complaining.

Tony hated when they went out, but knew there was no way to stop them and felt better that they were together and had Karen and FRIDAY watching out for them, but he always worried about them while they were out.

After the boys were gone Georgia headed down to one of the intern labs to help out and spend time with her friends, while Abbie went down to the PR floor to do some of her intern work. They had set up all four of the big kids with official internships at SI to help cover why they came to the tower after school.

Once they were all gone Tony sat down with Morgan.

“Hey, Mo, I need to talk to you for a minute.”

“Okay, Daddy.” Morgan sat down on the couch next to her father looking up at him expectantly.

“We need to talk about what happened at school. It is not okay to tell your teacher that what she is teaching is boring. Even if it is. You can tell her that you already know the subject, but it is rude to tell her it is boring.”

“I’m sorry.”

“It's okay, sweety. Just try to be more polite in the future.”

“I will.” Tony pulled Morgan into a quick hug before she squirmed out of his hug. “Can we go down to the R and D floors? Pleeeeeease Daddy.” She looked up at him with puppy dog eyes he could never say no to and he already knew what his answer would be.

“Okay. But not for long. I do have some actual work to do that mom will kill me if I put off any more.”

“Yayy! Thank you!”

Tony just smiled and took his youngest’s hand leading her to the elevator.

The two of them spent an hour walking around the R&D floors of the tower, Tony helping where he could, and Morgan talking to everyone before they had to head back up to the penthouse to make dinner.

Twenty minutes into cooking Peter and Harley came in through the balcony, both rushing off to shower before dinner.

When Pepper walked into the kitchen thirty minutes later Morgan was stirring a pot on the stove, and Tony was standing behind her talking to the big kids who were all sitting at the island, except for Peter who was on the ceiling above the others.

“Hello”

The kids all yelled out some version of hello to her before turning back to whatever they had been doing.

Pepper just shook her head at them as she pulled off her heels switching into slippers and took her hair out of its tight bun.

She made her way to Tony who she kissed, which elicited a collective “EWWW” from the kids, which just made Tony kiss her again.

“You guys are super gross. Like, get a room.” Peter was still on the ceiling but had covered his eyes with his hands.

“We have an entire penthouse, which we are in right now.”

“Yeah, but your kids are also here. You have a perfectly nice bedroom right down the hall where there are no young impressionable eyes.”

Tony just stuck his tongue out at their oldest son before turning to check on Morgan.

Pepper shook her head at her family’s antics, an action she found herself doing often.
