Chapter 2
Peter woke up as the car came to a stop a few blocks from Midtown. He and his siblings all climbed out of the car after a quick hug and good luck from Morgan, and a reminder to call him if they need anything from Tony.
Once they were out of the car they started the short walk the rest of the way to school. When they got there Ned and MJ were waiting on the stairs for them.
“PETER!” Ned dashed of the stairs and ran to Peter. As soon as he came to a stop they started in on their complicated handshake.
“Hey, Nerd. Nerd’s siblings.” With a quick nod to each MJ went back to her book.
“Hi MJ!”
They walked in as a group before splitting off to each find their locker. Georgia, Peter, MJ, and Ned, were all in the same grade so their lockers were in the same area, but Harley was a year behind and Abbie was a year ahead so they said their goodbyes and went off to find their own lockers.
Once they put their stuff into their lockers they all split up to head to their first class of the day. Georgia and Peter both had AP Physics first so walked together to their first class.
“Hey, Penis. Who’s this? Your new girlfriend?” Peter couldn't help the groan that escaped as he heard Flash’s voice.
Peter turned around to look at Flash and his goons, “No this is not my girlfriend, this is my sister Georgia.”
“Your sister? Ha. You are a lonely orphan, you don't have siblings.”
“Not that I have to tell you this, but I was adopted when I came back from the blip and Georgia is my adopted sister.”
“Yeah right. No one would want you.”
Georgia took a step towards Flash, like she was going to fight him, and knowing how protective of her family she was, she very well might have. But before she could do anything she would regret Peter grabbed her by the arm and pulled her towards their first class.
The rest of Peter’s morning classes went by without a hitch aside from the occasional jab from Flash. At lunch, he was one of the first to their table in the back corner of the cafeteria. When he got there only MJ and Harley were sitting there. MJ reading her book and Harley on his phone.
“Hey, guys!” Peter slid into a seat across from MJ and started in on his lunch.
Abbie came by a few minutes later with two other girls. “Catlin, Darcey, these are my brothers, Harley, and Peter, and Peter’s friend MJ.”
Both politely said hi before sitting down a few seats away.
Georgia and Ned walked over a moment later taking the seats next to Peter.
Lunch went by pretty smoothly until ten minutes to the bell when Flash and his gooney’s sauntered over.
“What is this? The rejects table?”
Peter just rolled his eyes but his siblings did not feel the same way. Harley was standing, Abbie looked ready to kill, and Georgia was holding her plastic knife like she intended to stab Flash with it.
“Guys, just ignore him.” All three of his siblings' heads spun to look at him. “He is always like this. You just have to learn to ignore him. Fighting him won’t get you anywhere but the principles office.”
Flash smirked, knowing he had won, as Harley slid down back into his chair.
“You really shouldn't listen to Puny Parker, I would love for you to learn first head why no one at this school messes with me.”
Flash sauntered back to his table and before his siblings could start in on him Peter jumped up and practically ran to his next class.
Peter spent the rest of the school day trying to avoid his siblings which was made easy by the fact that they didn’t share any classes after lunch.
He even went so far as to go out a side door and walk the long way to the front of the building at the end of the day to make sure they didn't have any time waiting for Happy where they could try to talk to him about Flash. He knew how protective his siblings could be and didn't want that brought down on Flash. Peter knew that he had a rough home life and had always rathered Flase beat on him than some other kid that couldn’t handle it.
