“I’m Eros, this is Pip. And what are you two ladies names” “Makkari and this is Thena. Wh-“ She gets cut off in the middle of her sign by Eros. “Well my beautiful Makk-“ Without hesitation, before Eros can finish, Druig throws down his sandwich, hops up, and with an unimpressed look, asks “What the hell do you lads want.”
Thena secretly smiles knowing how jealous Eros just made him. Makkari is actually into it, letting a small smirk show when she looks at Druig. He sees her in the corner of his eye, kinda making him feel proud of himself.
“Well we’re here to save the day!” Pip tries to exclaim in a cocky way. “What Pip is trying to say it that we know where your friends are. And we know how to get them back from Arishem.” Eros states and with the looks of their faces he could tell they had no clue what he was talking about. “This is gonna be a long night.”
That night, Makkari slept in Druigs room. This is an occasional thing they do. An occasional thing they’ve always done, only Thena knows they do it. And Thena can sleep at night when she knows they’re happy and safe.
Druig and Makkari were cuddled. Her arms wrapped around his neck, his hands on top of them. He was on his back and she was on her side with a leg propped over Druig. The cover softly over them, but they couldn’t feel it. They only felt each other.
At night, Makkari liked speaking with her thoughts, she didn’t want to move her hands to sign, and he knew this.
“Hey Druig?”
“Yes, my love?”
“Were you jealous earlier?…” He could feel the small smirk on her face.
”And so what if I was?… Look, he crossed a boundary. You’re MY beautiful, beautiful Makkari. He should’ve guessed that, and I’m sorry he couldn’t.” She found it funny how he would go on little vents like this, just to remind her that she was his. It made her feel protected and full of comfort.
She smiled and quickly remarked “I didn’t have a problem with it… it was hot” her smile got way bigger with a blush.
”Well you’re not so bad yourself” He smirked and flipped her over with a kiss. They kissed for a while until they fell asleep with the comfort of each other. Druig knew that he didn’t have to prove to anyone, she was HIS beautiful Makkari.
