You got up early to message Wanda online, and you were so thrilled, especially after what had transpired the night before, that you both shared profoundly personal experiences and thoughts. Now you’re contacting her on your phone, and it’s taken an hour for her to respond,
Wanda: Hey, good morning!
You were delighted with what you read since she greeted you, which is unusual. Because of the notifications of her messages, your phone beeped once more.
Wanda: I’m bored :(
Wanda: Do you happen to know some games to play?
With your heart racing, you went online to look for Online Games to play with buddies, anticipating she’d join you because you’re bored too, but not while conversing with her. You were ready to message her after figuring out what to play, but you noticed the messages she sent that you didn’t see because your bubbles were off.
Wanda: I’m with Natasha
Wanda: We’re both bored so. .
Wanda: Have you found any games to play?
Your heart aches, and you take deep breaths to try to relieve the pain. So you started looking for games to play with your pals again, but just not online games. ‘How come you’re allowed to go to their house but not mine? When, in fact, my place is the easiest to go to and hers is a long way away,’ you thought.
Y/N: Would YOU Rather? LIKEs and Dislikes. TWO truths and a LIE.
Y/N: Sorry, some of the words were capitalized. I was typing quickly since I was in the middle of something.
Wanda: Are you with someone? Haha
Y/N: Uh yes. Fortunately, I bumped into Carol while buying some flowers. Would you like to say Hi to her?
Wanda: What are the flowers for, exactly? Is someone deceased, or are you handing it to somebody? And, yeah, please greet her on my behalf.
Y/N: Yes, I’m giving Hope the bouquets since she deserves them! She assisted me in learning to cook.
Wanda: You should have asked me to help you instead. I’m not far away from your house.
Y/N: Okay, if there’s next time. Bye. Have fun. ( :
Wanda: Wait, can I call you?
Y/N: K
Your heart raced as you answered the phone, possibly because she was going to question you about the lies you just told.
“Hey, Y/N, I’m with Natasha.” she spoke over the screen, her voice was husky and tired, as if she had just completed a tough challenge.
“You messaged me about it earlier, so I know,” you began speaking, attempting to keep your tone cool. “What’s up? What made you call me?” you asked.
“She said yes!” your brows furrowed, puzzled of what’s going on, you can sense her joy in the way she delivered the three words., “What do you mean? What’s happening, Wanda?”
“Natasha is my girlfriend already, that’s what it means!” she chuckled. Your jaw tightened when you heard the redhead’s laughter.
“Nat’s here beside me, say Hi to her, detka.” you bit your shaky lip.
“Hey, I hope you're doing well, Y/N!” when you heard Natasha’s voice, you immediately hung up and tossed your phone wherever it landed.
“Are you okay?” your brother, Steve asked as you dashed upstairs but you simply nodded without looking at him, then proceeded to your room and shut the door immediately. You sobbed in your bed while embracing your favourite stuffed animal.
Your mind is racing with impulses, and you’re confused how to go about it. You remembered the times Wanda attempted to convince you to hang out with her and Natasha, but you simply shrugged since you never wanted to be with Natasha; you were jealous of her, but it didn’t mean you wished to throw her under the bus; you simply kind of ignore Wanda to avoid engaging with Natasha.
You heard footsteps approaching your room and attempting to open the door with keys. The person successfully opened your room as you stopped sobbing.
Steve watched you swaddled in a blanket. You unintentionally let out a strangled wail that seeped into the pillow, and this time you couldn’t stop yourself from bawling and just let your tears overflow.
He approached you and hugged you. On his shoulders, you sobbed. “I know you’re having a difficult time, and I can hear you. Don’t worry, I’ll be here for you whenever you need me,” he began, “Can you tell me what happened? How did it make you feel? Do you want anything to eat? Or would you rather rest?” Steve’s tone indicates his concerns.
“It’s as if my heart is full with neutron stars; it’s so heavy and impossible to bear. That somebody is suffocating me as well as drowning myself to death with thoughts inside my head. It’s difficult to convey, perhaps because I’m at a loss for words to express how I’m feeling at the moment, but thank you for being there.” you told him as your throat ached, wanting to shout till the pain fades away.
