Bruce Banner
Peter was having a decent day. It was the weekend, he had no homework and a box of pizza was still left the fridge.
He also heard that Bruce banner was supposed to be in the building today. (He couldn’t wait to geek out on him)
As he was walking towards the common room looking down at his phone for whatever reason, he bumped into someone.
When he looked up he saw it the amazing the great Bruce Banner, coincidentally, also on the floor. Of course Peter being Peter was too shocked to say anything.
Bruce looked up to see who he collided with and recognized the kid being Tony’s.
“H-hey, aren’t you Tony’s kid?” Bruce still recovering from his concussion asked rubbing his head like it was Aladdin’s lamp.
“Uhh… No, but that’s what most people think” Peter said, still absolutely shocked
“You..you’re Bruce Banner right?” It was a stupid question, Peter knew that, but could you blame him, his all time favorite scientist was in front of him (although he won’t admit that in front of Tony)
Bruce took a deep breath in and got ready to answer questions about the hulk
“Yes, yes I am” Bruce looked at the kid on the floor, now realizing that he was also on the floor, he made a move to get up
“I… I read your thesis on quantum physics, an- and on time travel. I don’t think I understand some of it, b-but I still think the book was great and, and Mr. Stark said I could ask him, because he was equally as smart as you, but I think your smarter. How did you realize the quantum was a thing and..and time travel, it hasn’t been done yet so, so why did you write a whole book on it, and omg I can’t believe I’m talking to my THE Bruce Banner, Ned is going to freak out…….” Before he could continue talking and almost passing out, because he forgets to breath when he’s ranting,
Tony walked in. Looking very unbothered
“Hey, kid, maybe don’t strain his mind, I still need him for a little project I’m working on. Bruce close your mouth before flys start to go in and eat your brain. Peter, I’m sure Bruce would love to hear all of your geeky questions after I’m done.” Tony Ruffled Peter hair before walking out with Bruce following him
So there stood Peter looking pretty stupid I might add, I’ll also add that he forgot why he went to the common room in the first place so he just went back to his own room.
Meanwhile……….. with Tony & Bruce
“Hey, so was that your kid?” Bruce didn’t really know what to say so he just kinda awkwardly asked him about Peter
“No, he’s my intern.” Tony like always answered very unbothered. For some reason he also looked very bored
“Ok….. so why didn’t he ask about the hulk?” It was eating at Bruce, and Bruce couldn’t shut his mouth.
Tony stopped and looked at Bruce, with a face that said you must be really stupid.
“If you didn’t notice, the kids a genius and he doesn’t really care about the big green troll inside of you. Sometimes I think he like YOU better than ME” Tony rolled his eyes and started walking again.
Bruce didn’t really know what to say after that so he just quietly followed after Tony.
————————————————————————
“OKAY, so we’re finally done….” Tony looked at Bruce thinking about it something very hard.
“Follow me Brucie bear, where going to see a very big fan of yours” Tony got up and started walking towards the door, and Bruce couldn’t even object.
“Okay..” Bruce then followed after Tony
Tony and him walked for what felt like an eternity, because of his freakishly large house/building.
Finally they made it to Peters room. Tony walked in and found Peter building a Lego set on the floor
“Hey kid, I brought Brucie back, you can talk his ear of all you want now” and with that Tony left Peter and Bruce in an awkward silence
“Do.. do you want to sit down?” Peter asked while cleaning up the remaining Lego pieces
“Umm.. sure” Bruce took a seat at the desk where Peter pointed him to.
“So earlier, you wanted to ask some questions” Bruce said trying to fill the silence with some noise
“Uh, yeah I did…… I wanted to ask, how does the act of measurement affect the state of a particle? What is the ultimate fate of Schrödinger's cat in the famous thought experiment? Can we use quantum mechanics to explain the behavior of macroscopic objects? How can we reconcile the seemingly contradictory principles of quantum mechanics and general relativity? What are the implications of quantum entanglement for communication and computing? How can we develop better tools for observing and manipulating quantum phenomena?” And Peter went on and on and on.
Although Bruce didn’t mind, he actually looked pleased, very pleased. Most people would hate having to answer such complicated questions like the ones Peter was asking, but Bruce didn’t feel that way, he felt happy that for once he could talk about something other than the hulk.
And just like Bucky, Bruce thought he really liked Tony’s kid and that they would get along greatly.
So with a little smile on his face he just listen to Peter ramble, and got comfortable in his chair, as he thought he would be there for a WHILE.
