Wanda x reader x Yelena
Everyone always thought that being able to control the weather would be fun.
That controlling the weather was one of the coolest superpowers anyone could ever have.
Well, clearly, none of those people had ever actually lived with that power, and it shows.
You had been born with the ability to manipulate the weather, and it had caused more than your fair share of chaos.
As a baby, storms followed you everywhere.
As you got older, indoor rainbows were a common sight wherever you were.
And throughout your teens, the weather changed faster than a cheetah running.
Eventually, you learned to control your powers.
You learned to control the emotions that controlled your powers, and one day you joined the Avengers.
And after joining the Avengers, things seemed to fall into place.
You found friends and a family within the team, and one day you found love.
You found Wanda and Yelena, and they made the sun shine whenever they were near you.
Even though you had found your place in life and had people who you loved and who loved you, there were still days you struggled with control.
But it was fine because you were still learning. And you had people in your corner who didn't care when your emotions got the best of you.
"Achoo!" You sneezed before thunder cracked loudly. "Achoo!"
"I think you're making Thor jealous, sweetheart." Wanda chuckled, handing you a mug of soup.
"If he wants my cold, he can have it." You sniffed, sinking in the bed miserably. "Because I don't want it."
"I told you we shouldn't have watched that movie. I told you it would make you cry." Wanda reminded you.
"Thomas J needed his glasses." You sniffed as your eyes went glassy.
"Y/N, you have a cloud," Wanda said, causing you to look up at the growing cloud.
"Great, all we need is more rain." You said before shooing the cloud away. "Achoo!" You sneezed, thunder cracking at the sound.
"If it makes you feel better, no one in the Tower thinks you're causing the thunder," Wanda told you as she wrapped her arm around your shoulders. "The general census is that Thor's throwing a tantrum."
"Lovely." You sniffed before taking a long sip of Wanda's soup. "And when he admits it wasn't him, everyone's going to know it was me."
"Dorogoy, there is nothing to be embarrassed about. You're sick, and it's making your powers go a little haywire. That's all." Wanda soothed you.
"I don't like being sick." You grumbled. "The last time I had a fever, I gave my mother heat stroke."
"Well, this isn't a fever. It's a cold, and all you've caused is a little thunder and lightning." Wanda said. "Nothing that isn't unusual for this time of year anyway."
"I don't care. I don't want to be sick." You pouted.
"Anyone ever tell you that you act like a child when sick?" Wanda rose a brow.
"I'm sorry, Wands." You sighed. "This isn't your fault, and you shouldn't have to look after me."
"I didn't say I was going to leave you in misery," Wanda promised you. "All I said was you're a bad sick person."
"What? How can I be a bad sick person? What is a bad sick person?"
"You are a bad sick person." Wanda smiled. "When you're sick, you're supposed to just go with it. Let people take care of you and not worry. You do the opposite."
"Alright, how do I be a good sick person?" You sniffled.
"Let me take care of you and stop worrying about the thunder," Wanda told you.
"I don't know if I can just stop worrying, Wands,"
"Stop thinking about it." Wanda cut you off. "Drink your soup before it gets cold."
"It's really good soup, Wanda."
"Nothing but the best for my sickie."
"What the hell happened to you?" Yelena swore as Steve helped you onto the jet.
"The whole place was booby-trapped," Steve said as Yelena took you from Steve's hold.
"That doesn't answer anything. Why are you freezing? And wet?" Yelena asked you as she helped you sit.
"I, I, I fell, I fell into a freezer." You stuttered before Yelena began stripping you of your frozen clothes, causing Steve to flush before turning his back.
"What?"
"There was a trap door. Y/N went through it and went down several stories." Steve said, keeping his back to the two of you.
"It went to a fucking freezer." You shivered as Yelena dried you as best she could. "I can't feel my fingers. I'm so cold."
"You have hypothermia." Yelena tutted, dressing you in a set of your spare clothes. "We need to get you dressed, warmed up, and a shot of vodka into you."
"I don't think that's right," Steve said as snow began to fall around the three of you.
"Vodka is always right. Warms the heart, Captain." Yelena tutted. "Y/N, you have a cloud," Yelena told you as she wrapped a blanket around your body.
"You're just noticing?" You tried to joke.
"Y/N, seriously, it's starting to pile up in here," Steve said, the snow coming up to his ankles.
"I'm doing my best. You're lucky it's not a blizzard." You snapped before shivering violently.
"She can't control her temperature, Captain." Yelena rolled her eyes. "She has hypothermia."
"Well, we might have to take her out of the jet. It's filling up pretty quickly in here." Steve said with a shiver.
"Take her outside? In the cold? Yes, what a way to cure hypothermia, Captain." Yelena snapped. "Wait outside if you are so worried about the snow. I'll solve this." She said before Steve left the jet.
"I'm trying to stop it." You stammered as Yelena stuffed your frozen toes into the third pair of socks before bundling them under the blanket again.
"Of course, you are, malishka." Yelena cooed, brushing a piece of hair off your face. "I know that, but this snow isn't helping you. We have to warm you up."
"How are you going to do that?"
"Warm thoughts," Yelena smirked. "You remember when you told me that you get turned on when I speak Russian?"
"Not really the time, Lena." You said, narrowing your eyes at the woman.
"Eto svoyego roda," Yelena said.
"Knock it off, Lena." You snapped.
"Nichego ne podelayesh', milaya. My dolzhny sogret' vashe serdtse, poka ono ne zamerzlo." Yelena said, wrapping another blanket around your body.
"Yelena, please, stop it."
"Nope. Your cheeks are getting red." Yelena told you. "Da ladno, nam prosto nuzhno, chtoby eto oblako ischezlo."
"I don't even know what you're saying, Yelena." You narrowed your eyes.
"Eto normal'no, potomu chto eto rabotayet." Yelena smiled.
"Why are you smiling?" You asked the woman.
"Because your cloud's gone," Yelena told you, causing you to lookup. "Which means my plan worked."
"You know I still have hypothermia, right?"
"Yes, but now we're not going to be buried up to our necks in snow."
"You know I'm horny now, right?"
"Yep! But that can be solved after you're not hypothermic."
You'd never been a big fan of your birthday before.
It was just a day to you, and it was usually spoiled by over the top family members or other relations you weren't a fan of.
You liked having a bit of cake on the day, but otherwise, there was nothing you particularly looked forward to.
Until you joined the Avengers.
In your first year, Tony and the team had gone over the top to celebrate your birthday, but after you explained your feelings on the day, they held back.
Movie nights, a cake usually made by Clint (who knew the man could bake), and the hope that no one would try to invade the Earth was how the team celebrated your birthday from then on.
Except for Wanda and Yelena.
Yelena loved birthdays and Wanda couldn't resist spoiling the people she loved.
You had tried your hardest to get the two of them to let the day pass in relative obscurity, but the two refused you.
So that morning, when you woke to the smell of bacon and the feeling of someone brushing kisses to your shoulder, you knew it wasn't for nothing.
"Mm, breakfast in bed?" You mumbled, your eyes staying closed as your bedmate rested their head on your shoulder.
"It's a special day." Wanda cooed. "Happy birthday, sweetheart."
"It's not that big a deal, Wands." You said, rolling to face her. "But thank you."
"It is a big deal. We should send your mother a thank you letter for giving birth to the best woman we know." Wanda told you seriously.
"I should send her a thank you letter for putting up with my dumbass as long as she has." You joked, causing Wanda to smirk.
"Does that mean you're giving us a thank you letter too?" Yelena asked as she entered the room, expertly balancing two trays.
"Rude." You grumbled as Wanda chuckled.
"Kidding, kidding," Yelena assured you as she placed the trays down and got into the bed. "Well, mostly."
"You know what, I'll let you off the hook because you made bacon." You said before snatching a piece off the plate.
"We might be back on the hook in a second," Wanda said as she reached into the bedside and pulled out an envelope.
"What did you do?" You sighed as Wanda placed the envelope on your lap. "Because really, I don't need anything."
"A present isn't supposed to be something you need, glupyy gus'," Yelena told you.
"And we did think this through, so you don't do that thing where you feel guilty when you shouldn't because it's a gift," Wanda said. "C'mon, open it." She urged you.
"Alright, but remember if there's glitter in this, it's our bed that gets ruined." You said before opening the envelope. "These are Disneyland passes." You said slowly. "For next weekend."
"Yep! Everything's been planned. We have time off,"
"With a strict do not disturb policy for the team."
"We already have the plane tickets and the hotel's booked. We leave Friday morning." Wanda told you.
"These are a week dates. We have a week off?" You asked, looking between your partners.
"An entire week off," Yelena confirmed.
"Do you like it?" Wanda shyly asked.
"Like it? I love it!" You squealed, first pulling Wanda into an embrace and then Yelena. "We're getting a vacation! A week away from the world's problems! And we're going to Disneyland! I've never been before. I'm so excited!"
"We can tell." Yelena chuckled, nodding above you.
Tilting your head up, you let out an embarrassed giggle at the rainbows surrounding the three of you.
"Sorry." You blushed.
"They're beautiful, Y/N," Wanda promised, kissing your cheek and causing it to turn brighter.
"Oh, there's another one." Yelena chuckled. "I like these. Why don't you give us rainbows more often?"
"Never thought about it." You shrugged.
"Unacceptable. I want to see these more. I'm going to see these more." Yelena told you determinedly.
"Well, keep being yourself, and I think you will." You said, settling back into the bed with your girlfriends by your side and your room filled with rainbows.
