Summary
This story is very loosely based on Pam and Tommy. It does not condone Hulu or Tommy Lee’s actions. For more information, read the disclaimers.  Steve Rogers is America’s favorite Omega. And it has nothing to do with how tight his swimsuit is… Steve wants to be taken seriously as an actor, but after a whirlwind romance, he's caught up in a scandal that might just ruin everything.

Disclaimers

Before we get started, I want you to know that I didn’t know anything about Pam and Tommy when I first heard about it. I’ll admit I was a little intrigued by the trailers, but after watching the first few episodes and hearing that Pamela didn’t want it made, I felt that how the story was being told was incredibly disrespectful.

Despite my issues with the show, I couldn’t get rock-n-roll Bucky out of my head, and then I started to imagine Steve as Pamela Anderson. I struggled with the idea of writing this, but the story wouldn't leave me.

When a story won’t leave an author, it’s because the story is important and needs to be told.

I have quoted and paraphrased some scenes from the TV show, but here are the major changes:

  • Bucky will be nothing like Tommy Lee.

  • His relationship with Steve will not be toxic or abusive.

  • The character who steals the tape will not be humanized.

  • There will not be a miscarriage.

  • There will actually be a happy ending.

I understand if you have concerns about this story and if I didn't touch on them here, please let me know.
