Summary
Tony asks himself one question after Sokovia: When did he become so soft? Stark’s men are made out of Iron, and nobody is going to tell him what he can or can’t do
Note
English isn’t my primary language, keep that in mind. Someone told me he would like to see Superior Iron Man in my fics, but that wouldn’t really work with those stories, so… here we are.Okay, that’s an overstatement. I just got high and listened to very strange music and somehow got into the mood to do this. Tony isn’t going to be a villain, he is just done playing around.I also watched the new Dr. Strange trailer and that passage with the Ultron Sentries and Illuminati teaser turned me on. (In a sense, not literally lol)

Funeral and Forbidden Temptation

The Funeral of Margaret Peggy Carter-Sausa was a big social event. Peggy was, after all, a war hero and respected Woman all around the world.

Tony can honestly say that he is proud of how quickly Friday managed to assemble a team and prepare everything. Peggy wanted her Funeral to be at Saint Luke's Cathedra, and Tony was determined to fulfill her final wish, no matter what it cost.

She deserves the best...

Tony honestly felt a little lightheaded when he entered the church and saw so many familiar faces in one place. All of these people are family to Howling Commandos and their close allies in some worm.

The Legacy Kids, as they called themselves.

Honestly, Tony doesn't really like most of them. When they were kids, he was most of the time, distant from them and they didn't like him either. Only Danielle, Edwin, and Sharon were almost always by his side.

But this is a special moment, one that all of them need to experience together.

For their Aunt Peggy...

So Tony plays his part. He greets some of the most noticeable people, and slowly makes his way in the front, hoping to find his Uncle Daniel and preferably avoid everybody else.

"Tony!" Daniel calls out to him, waving to him so Tony can see him. Tony smiles and gladly walks up to him, settling himself down next to him. Daniel smiles even more brightly, but Tony can see the pain behind his eyes. "I'm glad you could make it with everything that's happening... Thank you for all of this. She would've loved it."

"It's fine." Tony waves it off, placing a comforting hand on Daniel's shoulder. "How are you holding up?"

"As good as anyone can in my situation, I guess" Daniel whispers, looking down. "I knew this would happen sooner or later, we all did..."

"She is in a better place now." Tony offers, not really sure if he believes it himself, but that's what people kept saying to him after his parents died or when Ana and Jarvis died.

"I know..." Daniel mutters, taking a deep breath. "Captain Rogers is here too, you know? He wanted to help carry the coffin, but Edwin shot him down. Rogers made a small scene, but eventually walked away."

"I figured as much," Tony mutters, his eyes flashing orange. "I'm sorry about him. Rogers will never understand that Aunt Peggy moved on and had family without him..."

"You shouldn't apologize for somebody else's actions." Daniel remarks, looking around them. "Where is your pretty friend? I thought she would come too."

"Wanda?" Tony questions, nervously biting his lower lip. "She is... I don't really know where or what she is doing right now..."

"Oh. Trouble in paradise?" Daniel questions with an amused expression on his face. "I have been there, Tony... A lot."

"It's not what you think." Tony quickly interjects, shaking his head. "We aren't together and probably never will..."

"Why?" Daniel asks, curiosity all over his face.

"Because I-" Tony starts, but freezes when Danielle Carter-Sausa walks up to them with a polite soft smile on her lips.

"Dad. Tony" Danielle greets, observing Tony with a sharp look. "Thank you for this..."

"It's nothing.." Tony waves off, standing up and swallowing hard. "Dani, I get that you probably don't want me here, so if you want me to leave-"

"No!" Danielle cuts him off, shaking her head. "Mom would want you to be here. Dad wants you here and to be completely honest... I want you here too, Little Bro."

Tony softly chuckles at the nickname and nods. "Thank you... and I am really sorry..."

"It wasn't just your fault." Danielle quickly interprets, sitting down next to him. "She made her choice and unlike you, she was fully sober."

"The first time." Tony adds, looking down and Danielle takes a deep calming breath.

"It's in the past now." Danielle tells him, giving him a sharp look. "Let it go..."

"Okay..." Tony mutters, still looking down, until Danielle grabs his hand and gives him a tight comforting squeeze, making him smile a bit.

"Hi Ant." Edwin Sausa greets with a smirk on his face, walking towards them and dropping to the seat next to his Sister. "Well, I will be damned. The Legacy Kids back together again."

"Hello, Ed." Tony greets back with a soft smile. "You look well for a man of your age. Have been working out?"

"You are the one talking about looks, Ant?" Edwin chuckles, motioning at Tony's young and fit figure. "You look as if you just left college."

"Jealous?" Tony teases, smirking.

"Yeah..." Edwin sadly admits defeat, rolling his eyes. "Your dear Captain America is a dick and for his actions in Lagos should be put in prison."

"Yeah..." Tony mutters, shooting him an apologetic look. "Uncle Daniel already told me that you had the honor meeting him."

"Yep," Edwin says, smiling a bit to himself. "I send him and his weird friend to the back. The front raws are for Family and Families friends only."

All four of them look at each other before they burst out laughing, ignoring the weird looks, some people sent them.

"Hey!" Danielle interrupts their laughter, looking ahead of them and pointing at the podium. "Ceremony is about to start."

Tony follows her gaze and his heart skips a beat at the sight of Sharon Carter. Granddaughter of Peggys Brother and Adoptive Daughter of Danielle.

It has been a few years since Tony saw her and he avoided her for a very good reason...

"Peggy Carter was known to most as a founder of SHIELD" Sharon starts, eyes looking over the room. "But I knew her as my aunt. Aunt Peggy had a photograph in her office. It was of Aunt Peggy standing next JFK. As a kid, that was pretty cool. I asked her once how she managed to master diplomacy and espionage at a time when no one wanted to see a woman succeed at either."

Tony remembers Peggy saying that to Sharon very clearly. Peggy was always pushing her beliefs on Sharon, who listened to her to the last word. He suspects that Peggy was doing it because Danielle was very different then Peggy and didn't care about things like that.

"Compromise where you can. Where you can't, don't. Even if everyone is telling you that something wrong is something right. Even if the whole world is telling you to move, it is your duty to plant yourself like a tree, look them in the eye, and say: No, you move." Sharon continues, her eyes focusing on someone in the crowd.

Tony follows her gaze and can't help himself but roll his own eyes at the sight.

There sits Steve Rogers, looking at Sharon in shock, but also clearly moved by the message given. Tony really hopes that Steve isn't stupid enough to compare fighting for gender equality thing to illegally entering countries and causing millions of dollars worth of damage, and losses on civilian lives...

Nope... Steve is an idiot and clearly can compare these two things, judging by his stupid facial expression.

Awesome...

****

Steve can't help himself but feel disappointed. He just met Peggy's son and he can't say that he liked the man.  He would expect Peggy's Son to be more respectful towards him, but the man was totally unimpressed and gave him the same look Tony gave him at the Helicarrier back in 2012.

Sam and Steve himself went into the front row, trying to get a nice seat, but Edwin stopped them and asked them to go somewhere in the back. Steve just wanted to say a proper goodbye to Peggy, but everybody is making it difficult for him.

Steve honestly thought that Tony was just bluffing with his command of locking down the Qunjet, but that sadly wasn't the case. As soon as Steve got the message of Peggy's passing, he tried to enter The Quinjet and fly to London, but the Jet didnt open.

Frustrated, Steve tried to immediately call Tony, but he didn't get past Friday, who was very rude to him and refused to even leave Tony a message.

Rejected, Steve decided to book himself a private flight, but then he remembered that Tony also froze their credit cards, and it honestly made Steve want to run to wherever Tony lives right now and bush his head into the wall...

Steve still can't believe that Tony would sell The Avengers out to The Government. They might argue, but they still need Tony and his support. They are family!

What angered Steve, even more, was when Tony, casually walked into the Church, as if he owned the place and made his way in the front, sitting down next to Peggy’s... Husband.

Honestly, Steve couldn't believe Tony and his manners and was ready to go have a word with him, but Sam stopped him when Peggy's Daughter, Danielle, joined them and sat down next to Tony with a soft smile on her face.

Then Edwin also joined them and after a while, all four of them started laughing about something.

Peggy just died and they are laughing?!

Steve couldn't be more disappointed in Peggy's kids. He can't understand how someone who was raised by such an amazing woman would laugh with someone like Tony, at their mother's funeral.

But then the revelations came...

Tony is here not because he wanted attention, as Steve predicted. He came because he knew Peggy his whole life.

Steve couldn't help himself but gasps at this revelation and his own stupidity. It should've been obvious. Peggy and Howard were good friends, surely Tony knew Peggy too.

Peggy was Tony's Godmother...

The next thing that shocked Steve was when Agent 13, Sharon Carter stepped behind a microphone and started talking.

The speech was good, but at the end, Steve just knew that this was Peggy talking directly to him about The Accords.

"Even if everyone is telling you that something wrong is something right. Even if the whole world is telling you to move, it is your duty to plant yourself like a tree, look them in the eye, and say: No, you move."

That's exactly what Steve is going to do. He won't submit to some paper pushers or even Tony Stark. He will fight, he will stand and he will not move. Like a tree.

Steve also took this moment to look a little more closely at Sharon. She didn't resemble Peggy as much as Danielle, but there were some similarities. More of them on the inside than on the outside.

But Steve also noticed something different...

During the funeral, Sharon didn't join her family but kept glancing at Tony with a look that Steve couldn't figure out. He would say that it was a mix of the look you give to someone you really want, but she also looked like a predator that was stalking her prey.

Which doesn't make sense, considering they are family...

"Steve." Sharon greets with a polite smile, walking up to him and snapping him out of his thoughts. "I'm glad you could make it."

"I wouldn't miss this" Steve mutters, looking down. "She was almost all I had left from the past..."

"I know." Sharon cuts in, putting her hand on his shoulder. "Sorry you had to find it this way, but I don't really like it when people are expecting me to be exactly like her."

"I get it." Steve says, honestly. "Peggy was a woman that nobody could live up to."

"That she was..." Sharon mutters, looking behind her shoulder and noticing Tony observing Her and Steve with, narrowed eyes, that flicker with orange spark. She smirks at the sight, licking her lips and turning back to Steve with a seductive and suggestive smile.  "I was thinking about going back to my hotel. Do you want-"

"Sharon." Tony firmly says, appearing behind them in an instant, making her silently wonder how he got to them so fast. His eyes don't leave Steve for a moment, making The Super Soldier completely freeze. "We should catch up."

"Should we?" Sharon can't help herself but sarcastically laugh. "You didn't think so for more than 8 years."

"Can you really blame me?" Tony counters, his eyes shifting to her, making Steve release a breath he didn't even realize he was holding.

"Yes. I can" Sharon responds, harshly. Before pretending to think and quickly moving to him, grabbing his hand and giving Steve an apologetic smile. "Perhaps another time Steve. Apparently Tony and I have a lot of catching up to do."

Tony and Sharon don't wait for his response, quickly leaving the Church through the main exit, leaving a confused and shocked Super Soldier behind.

"And history repeats itself..." Edwin sadly mutters, taking a sip of his drink, as he watches Tony and Sharon leave.

"Tony just didn't want her to talk with Rogers." Danielle weakly tries to defend them, but she is also frowning. "And Sharon isn't a hormonal teenager anymore..."

"You know how she is and how much power she has over him." Edwin reminds his Sister, shaking his head in disappointment. "He will give in to her. He always does..."

****

The ride to the hotel was mostly silent. Sharon did try to pick up a conversation, but Tony refused to say anything, and just kept looking at the road.

Tony can't help himself, but mentally curse himself for his stupidy. He should've sent Edwin to break Sharon and Steve apart instead, but when he saw that smirk on her face and heard her starting to offer him to come with her, something in him just snapped and he was next to them in an instant, asking her to "catch up."

Danielle and Edwin just now started to talk to him and he is already on that stupid, tempting, dangerous road, that separated them in the first place.

The first time Tony slept with Sharon was when he was 24 years old. He was on vacation with Rhodey in London and somehow got on a party and got wasted. Sharon sneaked into that same party as well, and when Tony woke up the next day, naked Sharon was wrapped around him as if he was her precious prince in shining armor.

Sharon was only 16 at the time and as it turned out, Tony was her first.

"So..." Sharon trails off, kicking off her heels, as they enter her hotel room and she sits down on her bed. "You look nice."

"Thanks.." Tony awkwardly answers, not really looking at her. "You look nice too?..."

"Are we really going to play this game again?" Sharon asks, signing and tilting her head. "We both know what will happen eventually..."

"I hate you..." Tony mutters, staring her directly in the eyes and not dancing around it. "I hate you because you are the one temptation that I can never really resist. You are like forbidden fruit to me and it keeps breaking our family apart."

"Our family was already broken." Sharon counters back, slowly walking to him. "Small cracks started with the death of yours and my parents. Our first one-night stand was the first real crack and when we were caught... It shattered."

"I was drunk." Tony tries to defend himself, taking a step back. "I was drunk, but you weren't."

"Can you really blame me that I developed a crush on you?" Sharon asks, backing him to the wall. "You were always there. You were there when I cried or when I was bullied at school. You were spoiling me since we were kids. Of course, I had a crush on you!"

Tony shakes his head, looking away. "That was never my intention..."

"But it happened!" Sharon interrupts. "Get over it already! We aren't related by blood. It is nothing illegal."

Tony frowns, finally meeting her eyes. She is right. They both know how will this night end because Tony has no self-control over himself when it comes to her. He doesn't feel anything romantic to her, but it's just what it is...

Maybe if they stopped right after the first time...

Maybe if Obadiah didn't push and supported them to continue...

He can't resist her. Not when his sex drive is enhanced by Extremis. Judging by the look on her face, she realizes how torn he is, because she makes the first move.

She kissed him and continued kissing him, even when he remained inactive. As much as he really wants to fight it, he can't. He grabs her by the neck and pulls her closer to him, kissing her back.

In a manner of seconds, his suit jacket is on the ground, and the kiss gets more heated. She bites his lower lip, drawing a little blood from him and licking it off. "Bed. Now!"

Tony didn't need to be told twice, as he grabbed her by the hips and lifted her up, allowing her to wrap her legs around him and let him carry her to the bed. He presses his lips against her neck, before biting down with a rumbling growl that makes her twitch and pant.

“Stop playing around.” Sharon mutters, closing her eyes in pleasure. "Hurry the fuck up.”

Tony rolls his eyes, unzipping his pants and throwing them at the ground, while Sharon takes her dress, and panties off, smirking at him. "Have at it, Cowboy."

She is wet, wetter than he thought she would be, as he brings the head of his cock between her slippery folds. He thinks for a moment, remembering who he is currently with, and without any warning trust into her completely.

He hates what she is able to do to him with only her presence and this is his way of punishing her for it...

His spine arches a bit, as he keeps repeatedly slamming into her, roughly and without mercy. She’s wet, too wet, but still tight and he’s not gentle because she doesn’t want him to be, nor does she deserve it. His hips are grinding against her ass as she lifts her own hips in an implicit invitation for him to take it all, anything he can reach, and he does so impulsively.

Pulling back, he almost slips out before shoving forward again, no rhythm to them as they just take from each other whatever the other is willing to give, nothing but the harsh sound of their breathing and the slick sound of their bodies moving together are heard for the rest of the night, while Tony thinks about a few things he heard over the course of his life.

"Sex is not the enemy, Tony." Obadiah told him when he was a teenager. "Don't feel guilty about it no matter with who, or what are others saying."

"You are not blood related" Obadiah told him after he found out about Him and Sharon. "It's not Incest and it's totally normal and fine."

"Sex is where you find it." Sunset told him after the first night they were together."Take it and enjoy it. Give and receive freely, without fear, without guilt, and without contractual obligations."

“The best to get over someone is to get under somebody else.” Obadiah told him after his first heartbreak and right now that’s the statement, that rings in Tony’s mind the most.

"Fuck my life..." Tony mutters to himself, thrusting into Sharon under him even harder, making her moan even more lauder.
