simply facts

Wednesday since the day she could correctly hold a pen or manipulate any kind of writing device, she discovered that many adults used some words in a wrong context.

A hypothesis: a testable statment that can be proven wrong or become a theory. An example:Students who drink coffee to have energy to learn for exams, perform worse than studets, that got a goodnight sleep.

A theory: a system of ideas with intention to explain a phenomenon. Has to have evidance. An example:Darwin's theory. Has evidance-the remains of Homo Erectus.

Wednesday liked to know the perfect definition every word se used in her day to day vocabulary, so no wonder her favorite book, which was not fantasy nor collection of poems was a dictionary. To be more exact-The english dictionary of human language publised in 1781, first edition.

She dicovered it in her family library, when her father, Gomez, was trying to teach her 'the language of love', which was contained in a herbology book, that explained everything about flower language. It was tree days before Valentines Day, her father gushing something about that her mother 'is not just delicate, but more fierce than the flames of Hades kingdom' while browsing the herbology book, picking flowers for boquets, which had been given to his wife.

Wednesday left her fathers side wondering to the side of 18th century literature.

Her chubby fingers brused off the dust from surfaces on individual books, when her fingers lingred on navy blue spine. She examined each latter closely and took out a book from the shelf. She opened the book on its first page, sat down and started reading.

Gomez noticed his child was not by his side, when Wednesdays scorpion, Nero, started crowl away to its owner. He followed Nero and witnessed is daughter looking trough the dictionary.

"This is you," she pointed on a definition of lovesick as she heard Gomez' footsteps. "you are a lovesick fool for our mother." she clarified. Her father just laughed and since then the navy blue book had became a part of Wednesdays personal collection.

Even how much she admired the book and had multiple versions of it in diffrent languages/editions, se did not agreed on one word with them. Truth.

Truth, yes could be taken as a simple definition: opposite of a lie. But ironically the truth is it has to be categorized. Categories of facts, theories, hypotheses, believes and more. For example: Dragons do not exist. It is a truth for normies. but for outcast it is a lie. Oh, how truth is fascinating.

Wednesday admired facts and theories. They have structures and definitions. They are truthful. But believes and other can not be taken seriously. Of course, she can respect a believer, howevershe does not respect believes.

She devided the world into two spheres. Facts (truths) and other (lies). Some might call her out on her black and white thinking, but she always answered diffrently depending on a person: people she liked(her family):"That colour scheme suits me as thumbscrew suits you."or"Well, you are the one thinking that of people."to the racict old hag that, spies on her family and spreads rumors about them.

When she was sitting ih her family car on her way to Nevermore, he philosophy only was inforced. Facts (truth) are comforting, they always stay the same. So to mask her overwhelming situation, she repeated trutful sentences in her black and white mind.

Her name is Wednesday Addams, se was named after Morticias (her mother) favorite nursery rhyme. Truth.

She has an idiotic brother Pugsley. Also truth.

She will escape this hellhole, so she does not end up as her dreadful parents. A fact.

Principal Weems was a tall woman, who unfortunetly always talked about Wednesday like she was a younger and with her criminal record deadlier version of Morticia Addams. The young and deadly part was appreciated, but the reminder, that she is just like her mother made her eyebrows squirm with rage.

When Wednesday tought that things could not get any worse she met her (for now) roomate. A discustingly colourful and bubbly girl, Enid Siclair. Enid, who also was her tour guide and with her peppy personality somehow always got gossip into a coversation.

A fact: Wednesday despises any kind of gossip or rumors. They destroy persons reputation. They are usually constructed by lies and fasehood. They are the reason wy her ancestors had to relocate multiple times. They are the reason why people look at an Addams with a scowl and trough their fingers.

When (by Wednesdays guess) Enids friend let false statments out of his mouth, she only answered to him to set the record straight. The gorgon snake was paralysed by Wednesdays deadpan stare and quickly scrambled into its owners beanie.

Wednesday than left Enid and decided to look around herself. her pace quickened yet still silent, yes but her mind? False. New facts unfolded in the crevices of her brain.

A fact: She will escape this hellhole.

A fact:she will not end up as a lovesick fool as he fater

A fact:Enis Sinclair is anoter person she despises.

Her mind was pleagued by facts. Simply facts.
