Joffron

"Ewyn?"

"No."

"Ryra?"

"God, no!"

"What about Julia?"

"Hmm, too snobbish. I don't want our kid thinking they're all that."

"Ok, how about Ryder?"

"Oh, bloody hell, might as well call them Hunter."

Joffrey laughs at his husband. Daeron and Joffrey have been lying in bed since sunset now hours later, the sun-coloured clouds are replaced by a half-moon and an arrangement of stars. Their positions have changed as well. Joffrey originally sat against the headboard, and Daeron leaned on his elbow close to Joff's stomach, so he could converse with the tiny human growing inside. A mostly nightly ritual Daeron would do to make him the 'favourite.' Joffrey rolled his eyes every time Daeron said it. Now the couple seemingly switched positions. Joffrey lay on his side, leaning his head on his bicep and Daeron sitting against the headboard.

They meant to sleep earlier, but Joffrey just had to ask what they would call their little one besides the long line of nicknames they'd come up with in the past couple of months. Daeron was caught off guard by the question and told Joffrey that he thought Joffrey should pick the name. Still, every suggestion Joffrey made, well, Daeron tried not to cringe. Willia, Lia, Ryrna, Alexa, etc., just didn't appeal to Daeron.

"Ok, so you don't like Vaella, Avery or Wrey... I'm starting to think you want to pick the name," Joffrey teases while fiddling with the ring on Daeron's left hand.

"No, when I said you should pick the name, I meant it… I just thought you would be more creative, love."

Joffrey gasps and stops playing with Daeron's rings. "I am creative. How many people do you know named Vaella!"

Daeron snorts.

"I'm sorry, love, but Vaella Velaryon Targaryen doesn't exactly roll off the tongue," Daeron states.

"They don't need Velaryon to be their middle name, and besides, what if we have another? Are you going to give them the same middle name?"

"No, that would be silly. We would give your surname and any other future children we have will, too," Daeron states as if it were obvious.

Joffrey scoffs playfully, shaking his head. "You're impossible and outrageously cheeky, my prince," Joffrey says, sitting up to give Daeron a peck on the cheek.

Daeron grins and gently grasps Joffrey's jaw. "Of course I am, but only for you. I can't have people thinking I'm not the perfect golden boy they believe me to be," Daeron says, causing Joffrey to giggle. The sweet melody of his husband's giggle always made Daeron feel warm, so he leaned in to kiss Joffrey without much thought.

The kiss is gentle and sweet. The couple sometimes banters and argues, especially during Joff's pregnancy, but considering Joffrey wants cuddles 24/7 and Daeron wants to kiss every part of Joff every waking minute. It was tough to remember silly arguments or teases that had no dire consequences. Daeron pulls away and smiles at the cute look on Joffrey's face.

"I love you," Daeron whispers before diving back in to get another taste of his husband's lips. He quickly swipes his tongue on Joffrey's bottom lips in a silent question to deepen the kiss. Joffrey happily obliges. Daeron groans, pleased by his husband's actions. Daeron leans more into Joff. His hands start travelling down his husband's body, only slowing when he reaches his hips.

Joffrey moans before reluctantly pulling away. "As much as I would like to continue this." Joffrey vaguely gestures between them. "I think we should finish our first order of business because I don't think you want to call our child Peanut Targaryen ."

Daeron doesn't pay much attention to Joffrey. Instead, he directs his kisses down Joff's throat, humming in the way of acknowledging his words. Daeron pulls away for a second to respond, "Hmm, well, Peanut is better than Vaella," and then continues to kiss and bite at Joffrey's neck.

Joffrey can't help voicing his pleasure whenever Daeron finds a susceptible spot to attack and use at his discretion. Joffrey just knows Daeron has a big grin on his lips each time a moan slips from Joffrey's mouth. Daeron is confident that this will continue and slides his left hand to Joffrey's backside and the other to Joffrey's inner thigh. "Oh, god." Daeron hears Joff whisper.

"I love you so much, Joff. Ever since I was old enough to know what love is. Since then, I knew you were the one, but I never thought you would choose me, never thought you would, never thought you would see me that way. Never thought-" The words slip out easily and uneasy all at once, he doesn't know, but something that was meant to turn him on does the exact opposite. He feels like a child that was just scolded for eating ice cream before dinner or a child that told a lie and got caught.

"Daeron-"

"Don't"

Daeron stops his advances and pulls his hands from Joffrey. Embarrassed, he buries his face in Joff's neck and shoulders. He exhales and stays silent for a beat. "I'm sorry," Daeron mumbles.

Joffrey giggles, shaking his shoulder a bit. "It's fine you got carried away. If it makes you feel better, I find it super cute how much you love me," Joffrey says, wrapping his arms around Daeron's neck.

Daeron groans begrudgingly. "That makes it worse," he grumbles.

"Oh?"

"If I had gone with dirty talk, I wouldn't be feeling so vulnerable right now, plus I'd be having sex," Daeron states simply.

" And what makes you think you were going to have sex?" Joffrey questions playfully.

Daeron lifts his head, shaking it in the process. "No, no, don't you dare try to play innocent, mister pregnant at seventeen. Because as far as I'm concerned, you have and liked sex more than I, and I love sex, especially if it involves you."

Says the person that got me pregnant at seventeen.

In my defence–  Nevermind I have nothing

"Sometimes, I wonder why I married you," Joffrey says, a broad smile on her face.

Daeron pouts, annoyed by his husband's words. "Hey! Don't be mean! You're lucky I love you and that you're carrying our child," Daeron rushes out a bit defensively.

"Am I?"

"Yes, because without me, our child would be Vaella Peanut Targaryen, and that is a cruel punishment."

"Wow, You don't like Vaella and hey!" Joffrey says and delivers a slight slap to Daeron's shoulder.

"Ow, what? Do you think a kid named Vaella Peanut would survive this world?" Daeron asks, slightly offended by Joffrey's slap.

"No, I just don't appreciate you bullying our unborn child, who, by the way, won't be named Vaella Peanut."

"Well, at least we agree on that."

Joffrey rolls his eyes. "Ok, so now that Vaella and Peanut are off the list, what about Daella or Jaerys ?" Joffrey shuffles a bit to lay on his side once again.

"Daella or Jaerys? That's… not bad, I mean, it's not exactly rare nor extremely creative, but I like it."

"Wait, really?" Joffrey says, gobsmacked.

Daeron lays down on his side, facing Joff. "Yes, really, Jaerys Targaryen works better than Ryder Targaryen for a boy and Daella Targaryen works better than Ryra Targaryen for a girl."

Joffrey rolls his eyes. "You're so picky."

"Yeah, but you married me."

"I was suppose to marry Addam," Joffrey reminds him.

"Yeah, but you didn't, you married me instead and we are already expecting our second child" Daeron states.

"Shut up."

"Make me love."

"You're impossible."

"Yep, and you love me," the platinum states with a cheeky smile.

Joffrey smiles while closing his eyes.

"Hey, hey, don't you dare fall asleep!"

"Joff."

"Joff!"

"Joffrey Targaryen Velaryon say you love me."

Joffrey speaks with his eyes closed. "You're so clingy."

"That's not an I love you."

"If I say I love you, will you let me sleep?"

"Maybe... I mean, yes! Yes, I will."

"Ok, I love you."

"...I don't believe you."

Joffrey groans. "Daeron!"

"Ok, ok, I'm sorry..."

Joffrey sighs. "I love you, my clingy dragon."

Daeron smiles and shuffles closer to Joffrey. "I love you too, my beautiful dragon."
